This suggests it’s a very real possibility and a 2024 2nd and a 2025 3rd could get it done. Sounds like San Fran wants a 2024 1st but no team is willing to pay that with the contract they will have to give Aiyuk and how strong the WR class is.

I agree completely, I'd be happy with any of these dudes:
-
Chargers 6/1 to take a QB?
-
Maybe... but since when has the NFL required "proof" to do anything?
-
2024 offseason, a lot of work to do.

I think we can afford to cut him ya, but I'd be surprised if they did. I think it is very likely we carry 7 CB's out of camp as well. -

I'm aware of that, but I am saying if the opp came up.
-
Jefferson will not be used in a move up capacity. There is no chance that happens. Florio is dumb.

I don't know but the draft feels like every passing situation felt last year, I don't really have any hope for it to work out, I am just hoping that they don't do something really stupid and blow the whole thing...

What is a gut feeling you have that nobody else sees coming?

I don’t see 100 catches and 1,200 yards the same as 73 catches and 830 yards…830 isn’t “nearly 1,000”. I am by no means saying those two are comparable but Keenan Allen’s best years are behind him. -
I'm not sure if the AAV really ultimately matters compared to the total guarantees. The 49ers can always do what the Dolphins did with Tyreek Hill: deal with a ton of funny money on the last year of the deal to bring the AAV up.

The problem is no one cares what you did last year on a different team with a much better QB. The fact of the matter is Allen will be 32 and history says he will not produce this year what he did last year. And he’s not a top 15 WR, no offense. The measures to which you consider him a top 15 WR are outdated. He’s a very good WR, but not even a top 20. -
