  1. Past hour
  2. I like Bo Nix & he should be there @11. If Minny offered Jefferson, #11, a day 2 pick this year & next? I would have to consider it.
  3. Oh look troll is back with a lame comment. Season hasn't started yet bro, like I explained earlier we still have a draft and cuts coming. We already won by not spending 100M on a guard pretty much agreed upon by most, having the worst OL in the league remains to be seen. Hit me up in September.
  4. Alt is like if you took Jake Matthews and threw him into Tayler Lewan’s frame to me. Should be a beast.
  5. Maybe. I think at most, it’s a 6 for Atlanta and a 7 for PHI and a fine for both. (Fines don’t matter though. It’s not our money. It’s the GM/HC/Owners money)
  6. Not sure it could realistically get any better. Even this is pretty unlikely, but yeah...Id be pretty damn happy.
  7. I think we either trade up for Daniels or take Penix at #13.
  8. https://www.nfl.com/news/bucky-brooks-2024-nfl-mock-draft-4-0-dt-byron-murphy-ii-is-first-defender-taken-bengals-select-wr Bucky Books mock, it's a worst case scenario for the 49ers. No idea what they would do in this situation. He had us reaching for Morgan. I'd probably go with McConkey. What would you do if they can't trade down? Gotta go WR or Zach Frazier imo. I think we need Penix to go in the first for one of the really good guys to fall....and from what I'm hearing, I think he will.
  9. I dont think it will be that hard to find at least a Dan Moore caliber RT before the season to allow Jones to move to LT...but maybe thats me. I dont think it will be that difficult to find a stop gap C before the season, even if its a lateral move from Cole....or even Cole himself. I also wouldn't be shocked if a mid rd center beat a guy like Cole out. CB and WR are the positions I question the most. I think we draft someone day 2 and bring in another vet before the season. They could potentially even bring back former Steelers like Patrick Peterson or Steven Nelson. There also seems to be some decent vet CB options every year towards the end of preseason when rosters are being finalized. WR is odd because we have exactly one guy who has proven anything, limited quality vet options left in free agency and while its a deep WR class, its doubtful we get one that makes the type immediate impact we may need. Then again, Id rather take my chances than laughably overpay for a WR the way some teams did. Its funny being on the more "optimistic" side for one. And its not even that Im necessarily optimistic right now. I just want to see how the draft shakes out before I really critique the approach, because it could range from "Good draft, now lets see who else they bring in over the next few months" to "What in the bloody hell are they ******* doing?"
  10. For this to come out now, even with the obvious Williams misdirection to follow, there has to be some support for it going forward. It adds nothing to show the fans some stadium renderings or whatever is coming tomorrow if it’s just a pipe dream.
  11. I think the primary goal of an offseason should be to acquire good players.
  12. We won by having one of the worst OL in the NFL
  13. I just looked up their board of advisors on their website. Hippies and Karens.
  14. Day 3 will be barren with talent, relative to what it was a few years ago, which will impact the earlier rounds by making it more difficult to use those picks to trade up or down.
  15. TBF, it's vague. Were all 4 working out together? Or were Caleb and Rome working out AND Caleb and Bears WRs were working out separately? But I agree. STFU Tom.
  16. Fwiw, Ken Ingalls is such a good read. Always posts substantive and insightful things. I recommend liking him on Twitter.
  17. Woulda been nice for Tom to sit on this one until Friday morning…
  18. i saw a tweet once that said shot mechanics don't matter to luka and i'm feeling that right now
  19. I think the Sportsbook cooked the potential trade spot at #5 in that line.
  20. • Latu’s neck condition is going to be a disqualifier for some, but not all teams. He was medically retired by the University of Washington, which forced his transfer to UCLA. You’ll remember that in 2018, Leighton Vander Esch came into the league with a neck condition. A really solid linebacker when he played, and the Cowboys’ first-round pick that year, Vander Esch missed significant time in four of his six seasons, and retired after being limited to just five games in 2023. • Both of LSU’s star receivers, Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers, have issues with their left shoulders. The risk here is considered relatively minimal—in both cases, there’s a chance the player may have to have the shoulder surgically repaired after the 2024 season. • Penix is a big one because he’s had multiple ACL tears and multiple shoulder surgeries. Exacerbating the problem, in the eyes of teams, is that he’s not an overly big-framed person, meaning he might prove to be more susceptible to additional injuries in the NFL, especially with the hits he tends to take in the pocket. Conversely, he made it through his two seasons at Washington without missing time. • Washington OT Troy Fautanu’s knee was flagged. That one was described to me as the sort of issue that shouldn’t be a problem in the short term, but could wind up impacting his longevity in the pros (though his high football character is a factor in making teams feel like he’ll do all he can to take care of it, and give himself the best chance). • Georgia WR Ladd McConkey’s situation is similar to Penix in that he’s dealt with a mountain of injuries, and he’s not overly big (185 pounds). So the concern is how his body holds up with the hits coming from bigger, faster players in the NFL.
  21. Closing with Powell over Tmann or Zubac seems like a bad choice
