  2. Is it just me, or does the OL class kinda suck outside the top 20 picks? Alt, Fashanu, Fuaga, Fautanu, Mims, and Latham are all very cool at the top, but the middle class is in short supply. Barton, Guyton, JPJ, Frazier, Morgan, Beebe looks like a big pile of meh. As a team that isn’t in need of an immediate starter, it makes me think, ‘I wonder if we’re a great target for teams in the late teens or early 20’s looking to grab one of the last few elite guys.’
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/C6HxrmKMaeY/?igsh=dXMwbXdlYjEwa2Vm Why the heck is Freiermuth in this?
  4. I mean, how can they be that far off in contract talks? The market is kind of the market. There's really no reason for either side to be overly greedy.
  5. This is how I have the second round WRs ranked: (Malachi Corley is more of a third round consideration than at 36/40 1a. Ladd McConkey 1b. Ricky Pearsall 2. Roman Wilson 3. Keon Coleman 4. Troy Franklin 5. Xavier Legette 6. Adonai Mitchell 7. Xavier Worthy
  6. 1. Jackson Powers-Johnson 2. Amarius Mims 3. Tyler Guyton 4. Patrick Paul 5. Kingsley Suamatia 6. Christian Haynes 7. Delmar Glaze 8. Keon Coleman 9. Javon Baker 10. Johnny Wilson 11. Jamari Thrash 12. Kool-Aid McKinstry 13. Kamari Lassiter 14. Renardo Green 15. Kris Jenkins 16. Marshawn Kneeland 17. Chris Braswell 18. Mohamed Kamara 19. Austin Booker 20. Audric Estime
  7. The real numbers on ARSB's contract being much lower give me hope that the team and Aiyuk can get something done. I don't know how the gap can be that big. But there's definitely a lot of smoke, that's for sure. More so than there was with Deebo, tbh. With Deebo it was really just people wondering if the Jets would make a move for him.
  8. Logically, nothing will happen. I don't actually think the 49ers would take anything less than a first.
  9. Hopefully they can play for the 1 year and then both of them will get traded next year no matter the result.
  10. We just landed 2 transfer OL from the portal this week. One is Leyton Nelson from Vanderbilt who has connections, obviously, with AJ Blazek. The other is Joey Okla from Illinois, who was high school teammates at Arrowhead with Derek Jensen. Up to 88 scholarships now and 15 on the OL.
  11. Which part and how was it? I’ve been at dinner parties in the nicest parts and I’ve been in places I’d consider trap houses. Last time I went was the immigration office in February. Imagine what that was like.
  12. You’re moving the goal posts on the conversation. The argument is about whether they forced a pick. They didn’t. Clearly they misevaluated. That’s another story.
  13. Don't hate the Raiders pick because I love the player and could make the dline one of the best but if they pass on Penix I'm guessing it will be for an OT.
  14. Pass. There are ten players I would rather have who should be on board at #32. The ten picks indicate where we should start considering him a serious option. After all, we could trade back.
  15. Since that comes at the cost of upside, it's a bad tradeoff. He's good for YAC but his catch radius is weak for this level. I like McConkey around #45-#50.
  16. Okay, that’s what I wanted to know. Or more of less takes them out of play for a trade up. That’s good.
  17. McCarthy possibly being available at 13 is very interesting. Penix isn’t as exciting to me. But this also means that Nix might be available in the second as well.
  18. It's definitely a mess today, but I don't think it's as dire as some do. If we were to bring in Peat and Dalton Risner after the draft (we have plenty of cap space to do so), our OL would be something along the lines of: Peat Risner McCoy Ruiz Ramczyk* If Ramczyk is really not able to play, we could try Penning, Saldiveri, Udoh, Young, or even a rookie at RT. Having Kubiak at OC should also benefit the team and with the new OL coach/scheme, maybe they get can get the most out of guys like Penning and Saldiveri.
  19. The most Giants thing they could do is pretend Daniel Jones is good. I think taking Penix at 6 is a good move. Sooner you move on from DJ the better, and Penix has nice tools if your medical staff gives a thumbs up. I don't think Caleb or Drake would have done any better against Michigan. If your medical staff says no worries, then he's a good QB prospect that the Giants may not improve on in the next 2 seasons/draft classes. If he does suck, then Giants take a swing at Arch Manning or something. It costs less to move on from pick #6 then we paid to move on from Wentz. Keep taking swings at it. And keep pushing down non-QB prospects 1 spot closer to the Eagles.
  20. Fantastic, that’s one of the better scenarios for the Giants. They have their pick of Nabers or Rome.
