On @penguins GM search: It’s my understanding that PIT has not asked NJ Devils for permission to speak with GM Tom Fitzgerald, who was an asst. GM with PIT.

Maybe they already know what the NJD response would be, but there's been no inquiry, despite some public noise about one.
