  1. He would be a TERRIBLE fit. GB runs a hurry up offense. We try to keep the same personnel in the game for matchup issues. AP is a terrible pass blocker, cant catch balls out of the backfield, and is bad running out of the shotgun. He's been a disruption in NO right now because he doesn't get the ball enough imagine him here complaining. He might be the worst fit for us out of all the rbs in the league. I forgot to mention he isn't very good anymore.

  2. I like TNF. Any day where I can watch football is nice. I wish there was an NFL game on Friday/Saturday night as well. I thought it was an entertaining game.

  5. I've been member of this forum since 2007. Ten years is a long time and I've loved the majority of my time spent reading and discussing Patriots football on this forum. I've watched great posters like Hollywood14 and Finn54 come and go, read IceColdBruschi's rants, funny posters like NBT and Chauboy's, etc. With the old forum being archived and the birth of the new forum, I'd thought it'd be cool to create a thread for the Patriot's forum history. If any member has quality posts, funny threads, moments I forget (very likely, a ton has happened in my 10-years posting here) feel free to sha

  11. Wanted to make a thread where I could post my own power rankings and MVP race. Feel free to share your own and update them as well. My power rankings are based off of preseason rankings which I never got around to posting. My MVP race is from scratch, so it is sure to look funky right now and will fluctuate drastically in the first few weeks. Power Rankings (week 2) Packers (↑ 1) Cowboys (↑ 4) Chiefs (↑ 5) Steelers (--) Patriots (↓ 4) Seahawks (↓ 3) Raiders (↑ 1) Falcons (↓ 1) Broncos (↑ 1) Ravens (↑ 8) Giants (

  12. This was originally a gameday thread before Chief pointed out the sticky (thanks Chief), but what is up with this forum anymore? I remember when we had no trouble finding people to make GDTs and could even do things like have fantasy mock drafts with plenty of people to participate. Now, hardly anyone wants to do write ups and in general, we hardly have a presence on this forum anymore. I understand there are alot of Steeler forums out there and that our ONLINE fanbase is probably spread thin among them, but Im disappointed we havent drawn many newer posters or retained some of the quality

  15. You know, sometimes less is more. It would be nice if there was some more activity on here, but it's better to be like this with all tolerable posters, than with some real morons that are just here to troll. Cutwolf was the name of the worst one in the past if I recall correctly. Every forum has one it seems. Eventually. I'd rather have less activity and less antagonization. So if you do, be very careful who you invite.

  16. Just watched the All-22, focused on the Seahawks Passing Plays and our DBs: Early pressure by Perry forced help from Graham and/or RBs, limiting the receivers out running routes. Morgan Burnett frequently spied Wilson in 3rd down situations. He also played some man coverage vs Jimmy Graham, and played short zones. Graham dropping the only potential positive play on a back shoulder in man coverage by Burnett. Burnett broke up the same play to Graham we gave up vs Dak/Witten in the PO game. Davon House blew a coverage on a double move by Tyler Lockett (overthrown by

  29. The Saints approach to defense has always been... Just throw a bunch of guy together and make it work. Theres really NEVER been an actual plan ie scheme to build around. They have never truly made defense their top priority under Payton and they never will and i hate to bust alot of yalls bubbles here but i agree with that golfer Payton had in the war room this last year who said that had he been available Mahommes wouldnhave been the Saints pick. Had Payton drafted a 1st round QB in the top 11 he would have bought himself at least 2 more years reguardless of what happens this year. The Chiefs

  30. What i could see happening... Payton is traded to Chicago Bears: Loomis would have to trade Paytons contract because Benson aint eating that much money. Loomis could look to his former protege in Ryan Pace and accept like a 4th rounder in the deal. Payton would get to coach is former and hometown team rich in history as a storied fanchise. Payton as well has a very good realtionship with Pace and would have a very impressive young QB in Trubisky to work with as well as a QB in Glennon whom Payton coveted in the draft. Pace would get a great offensive mind to get h

  31. Yeah, in my opinion, he needs to make the playoffs to keep his job. If we're mathematically out by week 13, he needs to be out too. HOF QB, 2-3 Probowl caliber O-lineman, 1-2 Probowl caliber D-lineman, 1 Probowl caliber RB (Ingram) and 1 HOF RB (AP), 1 Probowl caliber WR, possibly 2 depending on Sneads performance, 1 former Probowl caliber WR in Ginn. All this, and 3 losing seasons in a row. The excuses are running thin, folks.

  32. I agree with this. And with that said I favor sitting all at least a year if you can afford it. Taking time to get the system down can't hurt.

  33. Its not where you start though. UDFAs or not, if they can play then they'll play. Devoting draft capital to the position doesn't mean those guys are guaranteed to succeed either. I think the fact both James and Jerome showed well and one actually made the 53 as a UDFA rookie bodes well for the position as a whole. They identified some young talent they obviously liked. I don't see how that could be a bad thing, no matter how said talent was acquired. As for Tartt, a simplified scheme could only bode well for his future. He had the misfortune of being drafted relatively high for his skill

  34. Day after his sister died and played through an injury. Was the heart and soul of this Celtics team the past couple years. Made them relevant again, and was HUGE reason we were able to get Horford and Hayward. Any true Celtics fan doesn't hate IT.

  35. I think situation makes a huge difference to a QBs development. I understand the argument that if you can't handle it mentally in a tough situation, you don't have the right make up to succeed. But for a guy like David Carr, the relentless beating he took week after week, month after month would take a toll on anybody mentally and physically.

  36. I think the most important question to ask about this game is; With time management issues and random play calling blunders, will Andy Reid and Doug Pederson coaching in the same game cause a rip in the space-time continuum? And when it rips, which coach will try and challenge such rip, only to be told by Ed Hochuli that a space-time continuum rip is, by rule, unchallengeable and have to put the red flag back in their pocket.

  37. Yea, I'm pumped about our Team......and honestly, haven't been this excited for about 15+ years! lol. It's brining up all the same excitement I had back in 1999 when Kurt Warner came onto the stage and we became the greatest team in the world. Not saying we are that team again, but it sure does deliver some optimism and hope. We are a completely different team this year and this is only the beginning. I have a real good feeling about everything so I'm willing to go out on that limb right now and say we are better than Seattle and it's ours to lose. We'll get a better look this weekend when t

  38. I'm looking forward to this game, Steelers fans. Playing you in your house should give Vikings fans a better idea of where our team is at than we got playing what looked like a pretty weak Saints team last week. Here's hoping the best team wins and that there are no serious injuries during this contest. Good luck!
