Friends, family, acquaintances, enemies and haters... I invite you on a journey along the Road to Victory. For 12 long seasons, we came up short of a trip to the promised land. But the wait is over! Our beloved Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl 52 bound! US Bank Stadium. Sunday February 4, 2018 @ 6:30 pm EST. NBC. Footlong Foles and the Eagles got the job done in the NFC. But waiting in the wings is our toughest adversary yet. We10 points

When I saw "Trade for Brown", I automatically thought it was a chrissyororke mock where we traded Antonio Brown for Von Miller and a bag of Werthers Originals. .7 points

Pettine gave a real good interview. He comes over as a straightforward guy and smart. He answered all questions well. Didn't duck out when asked a question about a specific player (Clay Matthews). Most interesting was that he viewed the playbook as less important than many might think. He is a fundamentals guy (you can bet he is on the same page as MM with that) and says his defense has the illusion of complexity, but is not as complicated as things used to be in the past (and he explained why that was the case). Best of all, is that if Pettine works well in Green Bay (and I think there is a v5 points

Well it has come that time of year where I can finally come out with a mock that I have been working on. It will consist of a full off season, with an OC coaching hire, free agent signings, and reworking some of the current contracts on the roster. Enjoy. Feel free to hate on it all you want 2018 OFFSEASON Coaching Staff HC: Mike Zimmer OC: Darrell Bevell QBC: Kevin Stefanski DC: George Edwards Retiring Players Terrence Newman Brian Robison Joe Berger Free Agents Returning Teddy Bridgewater - 1 year, $10.5M Marcus Sherels Shamar Stephen4 points

My only take on these two would be how it's then a judgement call by the refs as to which is enforced. They can call spot foul on what was a 15 yarder and vice versa. I'd be OK with 15 yards across the board - give the defensive something after years of rules being slanted to the offense.4 points

Perhaps I should increase Centers to 5 keeper tags then?4 points

Resign Teddy and give him a shot behind a better offensive line and a coordinator that caters to his strengths. Use the draft and free agency to build up the team and improve the depth of the roster.4 points

The Guy speaks: Brian Callahan really impressed Vrabel and they really had a shared vision for an offense. The Guy expects Callahan to be named tonight or tomorrow. Callahan is meeting with Gruden and Jets for QB Coaching spots. His connection to Gruden goes back to Brian's father Bill. Working in our favor is that the Vikings, Giants and Colts are only teams besides us that have OC openings. Giants and Colts, he'd be an OC in name only with Shumur and McDaniels being the chief callers there. And nothing has linked him to the Vikings. Barring an unexpected challenge....The3 points

The thing was I could go on the NFL Gen gameday thread and if it got too bad I could just stick to exclusively posting in here. Nowadays if we are in a tight one, I come in here and I have to here certain people talking about how we suck and this coach is bad and this player should be fired. And not to single people out, but one of the people famous for it did it in last years Super Bowl and pissed enough people off that he acknowledged he didn't deserve to take part in the celebrating after. There's a difference between fairly analyzing the game and the doom and gloom we suck and are tr3 points

I think people are focusing too much on Nick Foles. The Eagles are a great TEAM. They have amazing talent and have guys that preform at a very high level in nearly all phases of their team that support Nick Foles. The Eagles have a great freaking defense... a defense that has been consistently great all season long. The offensive talent around the QB is excellent.3 points

Draft a rookie QB....get alex smith for 2 years....continue to develop Kizer.... I've been saying this since October3 points

I think they are trying to rid the team of selfish players rather than blowing everything up. Personal opinion, of course. I also disagree that it will take that long. The Saints turned things around by having one good draft. Jacksonville made smart FA signings and drafted Fournette and Cam Robinson. It can be done in one offseason, but you NEED TO DRAFT WELL. It's very simple, unless and until Elway learns how to draft, this will not be a good football team.3 points

http://walterfootball.com/seniorbowl2018rumors3.php The Redskins are another team that could be aggressive to move up for a quarterback, assuming they don't re-sign Kirk Cousins or acquire another veteran starter. If Washington misses out on the quarterbacks or doesn't need to take one, the Redskins have a variety of options to consider in the first round. The Redskins could use more defensive line help next to impressive rookie Jonathan Allen. Alabama nose tackle Da'Ron Payne is a favorite of sources with Washington, and they love the idea of reuniting Payne and Allen. The team is not a3 points

I believe Raves fully. My invest matched what he said, and I cannot imagine a mafia role that would allow him to visit everyone on KSJ, nor that he would happen to claim it when he did. His information is solid. LTBF mathematically has to be mafia. As for the KSJ voter: TK- Civ FJ- Still throwing me off with the whole LTBF thing, but if he isn't CCed then he is civ Gopher- Visited Sanchez on the night he died. Has to be civ Whicker- Was ordered to be killed by mafia. Has to be civ Ruskie- Cleared by Matts/ET/Whicker. I'll buy that he is civ Hockey- Claimed role.3 points

I do love how Mayock and DJ where giving Allen a pass saying he throws the ball so hard nobody can catch it. Like throwing a catchable ball isn't a trait a good QB should have.3 points

I don't think any one of Bradford, Keenum or Teddy are special enough to build a coaching staff around. Keenum and Teddy have a very similar skill set whereas Bradford might not fit what Keenum and Teddy are best suited for.3 points

Let's not hindsight bias this thing so much. Deshone Kizer was by far a superior prospect to Allen. Kizer had a tremendous 2016 with regression in 2017, but what he put together against Texas in 2017 and those first few games had him as potential number 1 overall for a reason. Kizer had elite pocket stature and strong pocket pressure/blitz avoidance movement. Josh Allen flees the pocket any time he sees an opposing jersey color flash. What Allen does outside the pocket is otherworldy, but what he does within the pocket leaves much to be desired. Allen's in pocket2 points

Just look at how we played better on our second game against the Seahawks. I think this is a team that learns a lot from their mistakes, especially Goff. The only two teams I felt could beat us were the Saints and Falcons, because of playoff experience. Shame. Would have loved to have destroyed the Patriots in the Super Bowl, my dream.2 points

I feel you at OT for Drango...he's a guard..I think he develops into the new John Greco (who wasnt terrible for about 2-3 year run there...), but I think Coleman did a pretty good job....rookie errors, made sense to me for a guy how missed a signficant time playing in college dealing with the cancer. I am also interested in seeing what we have that may develop at OT....I liked Zach Banner a lot coming out of SoCal last year....and I like that Rod Johnson came to FSU and caused their all American LT to be moved to C (now that's Cameron Irving, so that's not saying a lot LOL)...and IMO the2 points

One important note on Bevell: he's committed to running the ball (except on the goal line in the Super Bowl ). That's something that Zimmer often preaches, and it fits well with the philosophy of the rest of the team. Don't forget about Dalvin Cook! Someone like McAdoo doesn't have even close to that type of pedigree, so it's strange to see us linked to him. From an Arizona blog: Bevell’s offenses have finished inside the top ten of rushing in 7 of 12 seasons as an OC and 16th or higher in 9 of 12 seasons. Bevell’s offenses have finished inside the top ten in scoring in 5 of 12 sea2 points

Amen. No team in my lifetime will replicate what BB and Brady have done in the past 16 years. You can nitpick all day, but it wont happen. Within all of our lifetimes we will almost certainly never see a Denver Broncos team with the sustained success that Tom and Bill have brought to NE. That's just reality, its a near objective truth. Statistically the chances of any team replicating what NE has done in the past 16 years within any of our lifetimes is very low, but to take that a step farther and pick a specific team to replicate this success, that being our team? Near zero probability.2 points

Packers are adding Rodgers and a new defense. Dallas gets Elliot back. NFC will be stronger next year. This was the Vikes year and the opportunity was lost. Would I be shocked if Zimmer never makes it back to the NFC Chionship game? No. I have a hard time seeing it until a significant upgrade is made at QB. An elite defense will only hold up for a few years, and even then, MNs defense looked bottom tier in the last game and a half played. Not getting help from the QB position made the issue far more problematic.2 points

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/wyoming-qb-josh-allen-passes-eyeball-test-starts-throwing-025702572.html If we draft Josh Allen, I'm going to freak out. His inaccuracy makes him a MAJOR project, even moreso than Kizer IMO. Nowhere near a 1st round player, and certainly not a #1 overall pick.2 points

This past year was the year of the rookie cornerbacks. The universe won't allow back-to-back stellar rookie cornerback play, which means this is the year of the pass rusher. Gotta capitalize on what the universe wants.2 points
