  1. One more reason why I'd never consider hiring that guy if I ran a NFL team.

  2. I woke up again and watched highlights. Again. Still in disbelief. I can't believe we literally won the game due to Brandon Graham's arm. We won a freaking Super Bowl because Brandon Graham's arm was, in fact, long enough. Somewhere, PowerElite is thinking of us. The "B-Rex" meme is one of the original FF Eagles Forum memes. It's been around for nearly a decade. And it full circled into a Lombardi.

  6. What a crappy human being... Can't even honor an agreement... Probably should have told the Colts before they waited on him.

  8. Kraft better have promised him the job whenever Belichick steps away. Because the guy is never getting another HC interview from another NFL team ever again.

  9. i'm sure a lot of owners are thinking the same thing right now. i almost have to believe mcdaniels got a guarantee that he'll be the next coach of the patriots after belichick, because he may have crippled his shot at anything else.

  10. Well gentlemen we did it, with my services Nick Foles channeled his inner Aaron Rodgers and took down the Purple Pretenders and the Evil Empire. It looked just as beautiful as when #12 does it. Only two teams wearing their home uniforms in the SB have won in the last 14 years and they both wear green and have had human deities stating at QB, coincidence? I think not. Unfortunately now that the rightful heir to the NFC throne is back I must depart. Now that the avatar is gone Nick Foles will probably go back to looking more like Uncle Rico from that movie he starred in than a competent NFL QB.

  11. AY! AY! AY! AY! AY! AY! AY! AY! Unlike Cowboys fans, I don't want to be obnoxious every day of the week for the next few decades, but I am going to be obnoxious for a little while. We've had to put up with a lot of jokes throughout our lives. Sooo... Hey 'Boys and 'Skins fans, let me know when you win one this century. Your last titles came before the internet was popular. Since the start of this century, you guys have a combined 3 postseason wins. Nicky has 3 postseason wins and a ring, you bunch o' scrubs! Giants fans, considering Eli has a couple of rings and the best SB comm

  14. To be fair, Reggie is showing a pattern of drafting "cute". Like he always tries to pick guys he thinks could be gems but everyone else doesn't think that highly of. Most of his picks seem to have the air of "well maybe Reggie knows something the rest of us don't", but then most of the time it turns out no, no he just picked a project player that has an incredibly slim chance of panning out and most of them haven't been. And I'm mostly talking 2nd, 3rd, 4th round guys. The meat of the draft. I'm a big Reggie fan, but his draft history is becoming dodgy.

  16. This is a ridiculous thread. Peyton Manning never wins anything in Indy after that injury. Denver was the best thing for Manning.

  17. 1. Redskins (They just plain move the ball efficiently under Gruden and their defense is decent enough) 2.a Giants (Top-5 defense, but Eli is one year older and that O-line was neglected yet again this offseason. Non-existent running game) 2.b Cowboys (highly questionable defense, suspensions all over the place, McFadden is not a good fit for ZBS and Morris isn't a 3-down back) 4. Eagles (Wentz is not that great and depended on that defense to get shortfields/TDs from timely turnovers last year. Can the Defense bail him out again in 2017?)

  18. I've got Philly. I think they may have the best OL in the league this year, and they generate pressure from their ends (Graham is ace). Hopefully the receivers this time round are a lot better. Running game up the gut could be an issue.

  20. Browns fan here. I have absolutely no feeling towards the Colts, good or bad, but when I read the crap that McDaniels pulled on you guys...I got seriously Peed-off! That wormy, spineless, rat-bastard! Man has zero integrity; when a man makes a deal he stands by that deal. It dont matter if something better strolls along, you made a deal. A mans word means nothing anymore. And to do it this late in the game, in frickin Febuary, when all thats left is the bottum of the barrel, is the lowest part. All I got to say, he better inherit the Patriots HC job, cuz he aint ever getting another owne

  22. Lol. Patriots fans just literally tried excusing Josh's decision by saying McDaniels didn't want to move his family. He went through the interview process, accepted the job, hired assistants and then he was like, "Holy ****, Jim! I just realized I'm gonna have to move my family! Sorry, I can't take the job!"

  27. Sunday February 4th at 6:30 PM he’s the greatest coach of all time. 4 hours later we have debates like this. They were outrushed, gave up more sacks, had 0 defensive sacks, and forced what, 1 punt? That’s on their lack of execution. If anything, Bill made great second half adjustments and his team took the lead with under ten minutes to play despite a 10 point halftime deficit.

  28. You literally have no idea. Foles, Cox, Kelce were all drafted in Andy Reid's last season, Foles brought back with Pederson. Barwin isn't even on the team. Yes we signed Jenkins and drafted Hicks. For your information I did a breakdown of the major contributors this season to the Eagles winning it all.

  29. Dude just hung up 500 yards and 3 TDs on the 4th ranked defense in the NFL...at 40. If you're questioning his legacy after this loss - well, football might not be the best sport for you to follow.

  30. Not all of us However, it's the most likely pathway to getting any compensation for Cousins. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! If they were serious about this (and that means they truly are idiots), they could do it as series of cuts, renegotiations, signing Brown with a contract that pays him heavily in year two (guaranteed money, mind you), and accepting that they'll roll with what they have at WR and RB. Then they would try to solve the LG and NT positions in the draft (along with WR, RB, CB, and ILB as late round rolls of the dice). 2018 will likely suck, but they could in theory

  31. So what you really mean by "defenses win championships" is if the defense makes a single good play throughout the entirety of the game they are the real reason their team won, not the offense that put up 500+ yards and 41 points. Makes sense

  34. I remember years ago I bought an NCAA game once. Spent all my time playing as South Carolina when Jeffrey, Gilmore, and Lattimore were still there. Anyway, ended up transferring the draft class to Madden and had Jeffrey on the Eagles. Now he's catching TD's in the Super Bowl. Crazy how nature do that.

  37. The first concern I’m having with the discussion of this is that folks are treating the “3rd round comp pick” like it’s a given when Cousins signs elsewhere — it isn’t. You only get comp picks if you have more qualifying FAs leave than you sign. The Redskins just shrunk their window of competitiveness with the Smith trade, and they’ve got a roster with some significant holes: WR, RB, LG, NT, possibly ILB, etc. And with that trade, they opened up another hole (CB) and gave up a draft pick they could use to fill a hole on the cheap. And oh, by the way, they’ve got the QB position dealt wit

  39. Nothing says home like the feel of your favorite chair, and I’m finally sitting in it again, after a nine-day excursion to the land of 10 thousand lakes. Minnesota became my second-favorite place, just behind the spot where that chair sits; the people are both friendly and authentic, the food is both great and plentiful (especially at Mancini’s Char House in St. Paul), and the cold is both temporary and invigorating. The entire region should be proud of the way everyone handled the entire Super Bowl experience, especially since it would have been very easy to be salty about the Vikings co

  40. It was the right decision at the time regardless of the outcome. Luck was the best QB prospect in a long time. Manning was dealing with a serious neck injury that kept him out the entire season while also being in the twilight of his career. The Colts weren't able to predict this latest shoulder injury with Luck. It's not like he had injury concerns at the time either when he was drafted. Looking at the decision in hindsight doesn't really do anything.

  43. Eagles are my pick, but I think this division be won by any of the 4 teams. The Eagles defense is stacked, even CB has improved now. They have a great o-line, good WR's, and good TE in Ertz and a promising young-QB that could potentially take another step forward this year. Cowboys defense just has too many questions for me, and no Zeke for 6 games really, really hurts. Giants defense is amazing, but I can't really look past the O-line and how anemic the offense as a whole was last year. (Scored less than 20 points a game) Redskins are a solid team, but just a cut below th
