  3. Gonna be interesting to see how we compensate for those three receptions worth of production we'll be losing.

  5. When we go to the playoffs next year, we’re going to be super obnoxious as a fan base. Everyone’s going to hate us.

  6. Only problem with Breer's reasoning is the fact that Freddie doesn't really come from the Parcells coaching tree. He coached under Parcells for one single year. Otherwise, he coached under Ken Whisenhunt and Bruce Arians, neither being Parcells guys. Arians is pretty firmly from the Schottenheimer tree, coaching under Schotty and Cowher, and Whisenhunt has ties with the same tree, coaching under Cowher. If one year under Parcells puts you under his tree, then Freddie's technically under the Hue Jackson tree as well.

  7. Scary thing about Indy is they have $100M in cap space, 4 picks in the first 64 AND they've already paid Luck

  11. Mel Kiper, Todd McShay and Mike Maycock all rated Baker 4th best out of the five top Q. bs. in last years draft. However P.F.F. had Baker rated number one by a wide margin. Oakland just hired Maycock as G.M.

  14. JJ Watt - from "never playing again" after a serious back injury to 1st Team Edge and 2nd Team Interior. So exciting seeing him come back to form. I had all but relegated myself to thinking he would be a shell of himself, but held onto hope that he'd find his groove. Glad my hope was rewarded.

  17. I see all sorts of people praising Eberflus' defense across social media. That's great and all, but I honestly couldn't care less about his defensive scheme and how effective it is. ...How is this guy as a LEADER? Does he inspire? Does he cater to the strengths/weaknesses of his roster? I'm not looking for elite playcalling here...find me some REAL head coaching material!

  24. Most STs are made via talent. The Steelers lack depth to give them the talent. I have been more impressed this year with the ST ( blocking 3 kicks). Penalties are killing them. It would not hurt them to lose the gum chewer but an infusion of talent would also help.

  27. This is such an underrated aspect and it goes back to the relationship between the QB-HC. SP and DB are inseparable whereas A-Rod wanted MM to go. Everyone and their mother would sign up for Sean Payton (I would too), but when I look deeper at the stats it offers proof why McCarthy is a much better candidate then given credit for. MM has 7 more wins than SP since 2006. SP did miss all of 2012, but point being they've had very similar success (MM's WP is .618 versus SP's .615) Both went to 1 Superbowl, won 1 Superbowl. MM has made the post-season 9 times, SP 7.

  28. DVOA is a nice reference but can we look outside of that and note that he had no run game to speak of, they had Fitzgerald and Winston both starting at different points in the season and lost Howard to IR ... The college production is still noteworthy as it shows his abilities to COACH. He's a worthy candidate to look into regardless of any of the things you listed here.

  31. Listen to the actual audio clip. He wasn’t bad mouthing Rodgers that’s just how it’s beinf spun. We wasted Lewis this year. Should have been used far more frequently as an extra blocker especially given our lack of Tackle depth but instead we went with Kendricks who surprise surprise, still can’t catch the ball consistently.

  34. I'm really more worried about the medical staff this year than the strenght coaches. They totally whiffed on McKinnon. Maybe it wouldn't have been a complete ACL tear if he had been diagnosed properly in the first week of preseason. But he wasn't, and a few weeks later, POP goes the ACL. Jimmy G's injury was just a bad break, it wasn't on either the medical or strength staff. Foster's shoulder could be on either or both. Or it could be on Foster himself. Did he do all he needed to in order to survive the NFL? The strenght and conditioning staff can give him a plan, but what if he doesn't follo

  35. Outside of Cincinnati hiring Hue, this might be the best thing that could happen to us in terms of taking Cincy out as a divisional threat. Remember how bad McDaniels was at evaluating personnel in Denver, getting rid of players in their prime like Brandon Marshall and bringing in guys like Tebow? Cincy is notoriously cheap and rely a lot on their coaches to do personnel duties. Having McD in that seat down south could take them out of the division for the next 5 years, just as our window is thrown wide open.

  38. Packer fan here. I want to congratulate you all on winning the NFC North. You definitely earned it. I also want to wish your team the best of luck representing our division in the playoffs this year. I know you'll represent us well and hope you show the rest of the nation how we play football in the NFC North. Its a much better division than most of the national press give credit for. Plus since I generally think the NFC EAST gets too much attention by the national press, I'll be rooting for you to give the Eagles a good butt kicking this weekend for all of us NFC North followers. 39. I get where you are coming from, I was a hall monitor once, we should stick together. Your fan base seems to be rallying against Baker, whether in Gen, your forum, the Browns forum or where ever. I don't care really, we've been the laughing stock for years and didn't have much of a defense against it because we lacked a franchise QB so any of our success, and there wasn't much, was short lived. If you want to say you are rooting against Baker/Browns more than ever because Browns fans are debating why he deserves consideration for OROY then I worry because you have a lot more heading your
