  4. This is one of the saddest arguments I've ever heard. "The racism stuff is just BS because all those kids have to deal with racism on the regular." Well, sounds like he has a good reason to want out. I don't care if there are other factors that motivated the transfer. The very fact that he even needs a reason to leave after all the lying Kirby Smart did to that kid only exposes how bullcrap this entire system. Kid should have been able to leave without having to justify it. But if you're going to demand justifications, documented racism is more than sufficient. Let's be honest, there is

  5. As a pretty big fan of the show, I tried my hardest to just watch and enjoy. But this season sucked. Despite the hosts great job overall and awesome twist and turns, the candidates are just total trash. All I see is a bunch of fat, hairy men dry humping the **** out if eachother ever night. The same crowd fiercely loyal to one another despite obvious detriment to their games. But it I could do without all the terrible game play if it wasn’t for 10 Richard Hatch’s all being superbly disgusting to look at in every way imaginable. This is why your ratings are in the ****ter.

  7. Before this thread fades away, I just wanted to say the AFC Championship was one of the greatest football games I've ever seen. Kansas City challenged the Patriots like no one else in the playoffs did this year, and for the first time in a long time, the Chiefs looked like not just another playoff team but a legitimate threat. I was sure they would win, until the Patriots forced overtime with the memory of Super Bowl LI still fresh in everyone's minds, and that might have finished the Chiefs off mentally on top of the physical fatigue. It was a tough way to end the 2018 season, but their

My Q&A with Whicker indicated that we have the same alignment. That is how he knew I was town and I knew he was town. Good Guys aligned. Hope that clarifies that for those who needed it @gopherwrestler, @The Orca

  9. Yes, I acknowledged that. @turtle28 also pointed out Jay's incoherent calls for a running game. My point is that it's not all on him. For example, Mike Shanahan's system made backup RB's look like Pro Bowlers. Yes. INSIDE the locker room. In terms of how to prepare for the game and be a pro. Correct. A player who is a leader is not going to get to everyone. That comes from the coaching staff. Alas, we have Gruden, et al. MVP stands for Most Valuable Player. Which is what he was on the offense last year. People are well within their rights to be upset with his signing.

  12. why did i move to California..... first of all i did not move to southern California, which is a cultural entity on its own. i moved to a small city in northern California (it's Aaron Rodgers' home town, and guess what his high school team name was... the VIKINGS!) and as soon as you get outside city limits it all turns to grasslands and nut orchards. keep going south and it all turns to farms of every damn vegetable you guys buy in your grocery stores. so that's one reason right there - really good and healthy and fresh food here. which continues my chances to out live all you pups!

He had been attacked from all sides for years, and this new game in town finally pitted him against just too many enemies. His true identity had been uncovered, and they were coming after him. He undid his tie and hung it up. He then carefully unbuttoned his shirt and folded it onto a chair in his office. He replaced it with a plain white T-shirt. He then took off his nice slacks and neatly folded them onto the chair as well. He then op

  15. Great to see Orion Stewart make that big INT and run back. Kid has good ball skills and middle field safety ability. Always like his ball hawking potential in college, I assume speed and tackling was the reason he never stuck in the NFL. As for the XFL, sure that was a good idea but wasn't it shortly after they said that the AAF started and have began clearly before the XFL. Not sure why the XFL is even wasting their time, cannot compete with Bill Polian and the X-NFL coaches that AAF has. By the way hopefully it becomes more like a NFL minor league in the fac

  21. Cool My issue with tag n trade is that it isn't that common irl because all parties would need to be in agreement, the team that tagged the player, the trading partner and most importantly the player. Tag n trade takes the ability of the player to decide where he'll sign as a free agent. For example, if Foles was tagged and let's say the Giants were to offer a trade it is still up to the player whether or not he signs the franchise tag and if he knows if he's headed to the Giants after he signs. Maybe he doesn't want to become the highest sacked player in the league, because we all kno

  22. I love this hire, too. Dunno how much Belichick had to do with the performance of the Patritos DL, but from what i saw their DL was the key to win it all in this years playoffs. To get Daly seems to be a great hire. It's going to be interesting to see, what happens with Britt Reid. Is he gone? I don't think he did a bad job, i actually liked what he was doing with the DL. The pass rush was great, just the defense against the run was bad. Maybe that's the reason, or he wanted to leave the team to proof himself outside the wings of daddy.

  25. In order to duplicate the Patriot way, and to possibly recreate their dynasty, you would need a lot more than adroit management of the salary cap. You would need: 1. An incredible coach who is SO good at managing money that he can succeed with low-priced guys we would otherwise dismiss as scrubs. In 2001, Bill Belichick was criticized in the press for valuing quantity over quality in many of his new signings; one guy compared it to shopping at Walmart. And we all know how that turned out: thanks to "the greatest coaching job anyone has done" (Bill Parcells), "they won it all with a waiver

  31. Extending Floyd is a must. He is not a 14/ year player. Give him a long term 9-10 deal and he gets double the guaranteed money and we get the cap number we want. Also, extend Cody Whitehair before the season. We don’t want to be dicking around with our best OLmen when we cannot afford to tag him.

  33. Or any Oilers fan from Houston. Or any Browns/Ravens fan from Cleveland. Or any Seattle Sonics fan. When your team leaves, they're dead to you. They become public enemy #1. @ramssuperbowl99 conjures up one of my greater football memories - Kevin Dyson coming up one yard short - not because I was a Rams' fan, but because the mere thought of the old Oilers winning a SB makes me physically ill. There's no greater scorn than a former fan of a franchise that moves cities.

  35. Ask @ramssuperbowl99 what it's like when your team moves and leaves your city with over 100 MILLION in unpaid debt Those Oakland fans have been through some rough times, who knows what will actually happen. One thing I've learned over the years is that each person's fandom is their own. If people decide to stop being fans, that's their prerogative. No skin off my back. To each their own. Btw @ramssuperbowl99 I think it's time to change the name to ramssuperbowl19 to commemorate the Rams glorious defeat, we both know it was sweeter than any victory in 99

  37. Yes, because he was utilized as a receiver heavily. Peterson wasn't. Saquon was targeted 121 times last season. He caught like 90 balls. Peterson was only targeted 26 times. In fact, Peterson had a higher yards per catch than Saquon did. I concede the point on receiving yards...but only to a point. As I said above, Peterson had a higher yards-per-catch than Barkley. If you target Peterson roughly 6x more (like Saquon was) I bet you get that extra 500 yards receiving that Saquon had on him. I'm not asking who was a better RB. If I had to choose I take Saquon. I was only speaking to th

  45. That's the biggest truth of all. Until the MLBPA helps out the minor leaguers, i'm pro-owner. I know non-40 man roster players (98% of milb players) are not technically in the union, but just about everyone in baseball was in their position at one point. I'd much rather see the MLBPA fight to get $10 mil a year per team directed towards minor league salaries than get Bryce Harper an 8th-10th year on his guaranteed contract instead of having to settle for 6-8 years.
