  1. There's been a lot of talk on the forum as we approach free agency and the draft regarding positional value. So in order to try and objectify this, I think it may be helpful to show a preliminary study that I conducted last off-season. With it being last off-season, and the cap changing, the numbers will not be 100% perfect, and I fully acknowledge that as a current limitation of the study. Below I will outline the methods used, any choices I had to make regarding who would be eligible, and any other information that would be important to know to understand how the study was conducted. 2. Brilliant move by the Browns. Somebody was going to do it, might as well be them. If I were them, I'd have claimed his rookie contract when he was waived. NFL teams can be so shortsighted when public relations is involved.

  3. The first award Of the most prestigious awards on FF, is the Oscars award equivalent of best editing, except it comes about through the worst editing. The Cleveland Browns Perennial Kicker Award, for the most typos some say the the nominees are barely literate the politer members ask @Kiwibrown @whathappenedtoBosko and @mtmmike whose name is in fact, indeed, a spelling mistake. @magicmike I mean, errmm @mtmmike congrats! You make he forum a better place and we appreciate your posting!!!!

  5. Why are some people disappointed by this signing or saying it's low for the Browns to do this? Kareem Hunt is an amazing player. He made bad decisions that were unfortunately caught on tape (lets be real, if it wasn't caught on tape, he'd still be on the Chiefs), but that doesn't mean he should be banned from the NFL. He'll probably face a suspension and will be on a zero tolerance policy, but I love this move from the Browns. Obviously Chubb was great last season, but adding Hunt to the mix is fantastic. Hunt is such a talented player and he fits great on a team that's young and trying t

  9. So, the OT thread got pushed to the 2nd page. What is wrong with you people?

  10. And so (reportedly) has Hunt, since his dismissal from KC.... and yet legions of triggered outrage culture people are upset by this, despite it being an objectively less severe incident than what Hill did. You people get so uppity over perceived PR problems, when the reality is it breaks down like this.... You gave up your shot at a superbowl, something your fans, and people in general would remember for years/decades, in order to get temporary relief from "bad press" on an issue that won't be a thing for more than a month after Hunt's league suspension ends next year, and already would h

  11. Gonna take the unpopular opinion here, but: Smart move by the Browns....People need to get over the whole PR snowflake garbage... No one will care in a year if/when Hunt leads the Browns to a playoff run. If he's not in jail, and not suspended (granted Hunt WILL be for at least a healthy chunk of this season) he can and should play. I don't care if he beats a nun to death with a special needs toddler, (after he serves his jail time in this particularly graphic hypothetical) he can play football and no one will care one damn bit once he starts winning.... so long as his of

  13. I’m always conflicted on an issue like this. Do I think what he did was bad? Yes Do I think people deserve to have second chances? Also, yes Is it fair to criticize the team that signs him? Also, yes Would I have wanted the Eagles to sign him? I would have felt icky about it, but I would have understood why they took the chance. I think the same overall about the Browns signing him. I’m just glad I don’t have to feel that conflicted feeling while watching my team.

  17. John Dorsey is savage. So savage I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who tipped the media about Hunt's incident knowing he'd sign him after the fall out.

  18. Lol so Jefferey Simmons is definently on Dorsey’s big board.

  19. I mean Dorsey drafted Hunt too, so it makes sense there. But usually when a team has a talent like Chubb, they don’t take risks on players with troubles at the same position.

  20. One of those moves where the Browns hope the PR hit is temporary and people stop caring after a year when/if he dominates.

  30. I'm just going to leave this at Rag has seriously been pushing things, inching dangerously close to Patriots territory and he is on very thin ice. He has not broken any rules that I know of (or can prove), but he knows he's pushing it, and what's worse is he's denying it. I am not sure of touch's level of involvement, and I cannot prove anything. Thus, there will be no punishments handed out, but a very, very, very stern warning for Rag to stop trekking down the path he's been on lest he find where that path ends. touch, we both know I said nothing that everybody didn't already know.

  38. Well, Dorsey got us our QB to match up with KC and KC's RB + Chubb to match up with KC. Now all we need is our Kelce combined with Njoku for our TE to match up with KC.

  40. It's easy to have courage in the pocket playing behind a dominant offensive line with elite weapons around you. Do you think Murray is going to stand confident behind Miller/Parker throwing to Nelson/Roberts?
    3 points
  41. Probably not. We basically signed a 4-6 game rental and insurance policy for a playoff push at the end of the season. Hunt will more than likely be suspended 10 games or more leaving Chubb and Duke the majority of the work, but injuries do happen so we went out and got our version of C.J. Anderson 10 months early. Him being a RFA is also a huge bonus as we could tag him an original round tender knowing full well we have no intentions of matching an offer and betting another team signs him based on his youth and performance and hopefully a year of image rebuild. John Dorsey could ve

  43. Yeah obviously that's the big one. The first thing thay comes to mind is the recruitment of James. I think that's what caused him to poison you. If he hadn't poisoned you, I think you were relatively safe, especially since amac and orca, I believe, were looking more for the scum roles. That would have kept DEA from achieving win condition and likely ending in a Cartel victory. I also think Naz's hit was a big one. My money was on Woz at the time.
