  1. Well guys, I'm officially a parent. Friday night we had a baby girl, delivered via cesarean, who is healthy as can be and weighed in at 7lbs, 15oz.

  3. Thanks, @TheKillerNacho, for another draft. The amount of work you put into this hasn't gone unnoticed and it's greatly appreciated.

  4. Why would we talk about a mid round pick at 30? Don't get what you're trying to say? I know you like to throw out these type of statements, I'll give you one. If we take Chase Winovich at 30 I'll have a full fledged Norm style drunken outburst.

  6. Wasn't sure where to put this, but there's a really good mock draft simulator here (best version I've seen to be honest):- https://thedraftnetwork.com/mock-draft-machine You can also create your own big board to use for it here:- https://thedraftnetwork.com/build-your-own-big-board Did my pre Combine big board below:- https://thedraftnetwork.com/bigBoard/TPIwdWZ4Pb Be good to see your posts here.

  8. Not really. We have new owners. I got mad. Counselor is in an advisory role now. Whicker is bragging about a two person mock.

  11. I said this from the beginning. Brown wants targets and a steady workload. The way Shanny's offense is structured, the open man gets the ball. I don't see Shanny ever force-feeding any WR/TE ever. Even when he had Julio Jones, he got his within the framework of the offense. AB has never struck me as the type that would be comfortable with not seeing a steady diet of targets. I just never saw him meshing well with this offense and it's dynamics. That and I didn't see Lynch giving up the draft capital required to get him, though I feel it won't be as steep as I initially thought.

  13. It could be a mistake. But you cannot let him continue to lose games for you and alienate the locker room. They should have cut him week 12-15 when he continued to be awful and we all knew that he was going to cost us in the playoffs. The cap room can be recouped, the Bears have very few needs as it stands and are not going to be active in free agency. I am not sure who you are looking at as significant impending free agents, but I assure you no one in the Bears world sees them, but the cap space does not concern me as much as the missed kicks.

  14. I agree, but I think the key is to have guys who are consistent and hungry. Perriman came in hungry, as his career was on the ropes. Now Strong is the same way. You get physically gifted guys who are motivated, and get them at a good price? That's what great GM's are made of.

  16. appreciate it guys. I'm working on something much smaller than what we are use to, so we'll see how far and fast I can get this finished.

  17. gotta think this is a 1 year prove it deal, and if he does as good as he did last year, he'll probably get a mega deal or a franchise tag after the year is over.

  18. If you were to look at the drafting tenancies and general scheme requirements to players in the draft who fit the needs of your team, who do you think they would covet in this year's class? This isn't who you necessarily would like them to draft, just who you think the braintrust in your preferred organisation would select. This is what I came up with for the Pats - generally ignored prospects likely to be off the board when they pick. Appreciate there's some overlap with where you think players might land. Needs - EDGE/IDL/WR/LB/TE Edge Patriots usually dr

  20. My only beef with the finale was too much telling, not enough showing esp the conversation with Junius. I would have rather seen what happened go down in the woods than a quick synopsis with his narration. Even “Amelia”’s tip was an info dump but that felt more special bcuz of its source.

  22. Where are they? The only thing he's not is tall. Not many guys have his arm ability and functional mobility in and out the pocket. Hardly any can make throws from any platform or have his contact balance. He's pretty rare imo. He has great arm talent and throws from the pocket. A creative play caller can really create with him.

  23. Jonnu has never proven to be anything more than a #2 TE. He's still a project. Firkser is a slot WR until he proves he can block. We can't even line him up inline. Pruitt is a solid depth guy. Walker is 35 coming off a major injury. I want an EDGE as much as the next guy, but Hockenson wouldn't make me upset at all. One of the few TEs coming out of college where blocking is a strength.

  24. Thanks man. I'll have it figured out for sure next year. I'm hoping to put something together for a much more simplified mock just so we have another one. I'll keep you guys updated.

  25. Honestly I think he will gain some traction leading up to the draft but I don't know if it keeps him in the top 10. If he falls out I would trade up for him in a heartbeat.

  29. Agree. I just don't see us going WR in Round 1. Maybe TE, but I doubt that also. It seems like some of the later round guys at WR have some promise, while the D-linemen seem to fade quickly after the early rounds. Give me D-line early in this draft. Weapons can be had later in this draft. My exception is probably Hockenson. I will not be disappointed if he's our pick at 17.

  31. I am going to watch the TEs...this class is insanely deep and I still think it is the one thing that is really missing from this offence at the F position.

  32. That 5th year should be used for those where you either have doubts about the players actual contribution and similar concerns. We should rather try to extend Stanley and maybe come off cheaper now than after the 5th year where he has more leverage. From my point of view, Stanley is not a player we want to overpay. Similar with Jimmy Smith, Stanley is a player we get 10-12 good games from a year. Paying elite money for good contribution in 50-70 percent of the games in a season isn't money well spent.

  33. His floor is a 50 win, 3x Gold Glove winning All-Star? A kid with less than 300 college PAs? Mike Cameron was a damn good player — it would be a hugely successful draft pick if he became Mike Cameron. His floor is Donovan Tate or Bubba Starling or any other hotshot super-athlete with a limited baseball track record. Speed, probably good defense, strong arm. But until you learn whether he can hit professional pitching, it’s a roll of the dice like every other MLB draft pick.

You know I got your back whenever you are ready to run a mock......even if you are a Giants’ fan. ill probably run a post FA mock in late March. I can’t do all the complex free agency stuff but I’ll run a draft

  39. Spriggs was always a developmental prospect at OT with a lot of physical tools. Part of that development is getting some opportunities. He has had a few injuries that have limited that and is trying to get playing time from an All Pro LT and a very solid/top 10 RT.

  40. I'll go ahead and post my QB rankings (I included all of the ones I've evaluated thus far). I'll also offer what round I'd take them in, a comparison, a brief explanation, and the team where he fits best: 1. Kyler Murray - Top 5 Comparison: Michael Vick Summary: He doesn't fit everywhere. He needs to find the right system and coach. But if you unleash this kid and let him play his game, he's a special playmaker. Still polishing the mental and technical sides of the game as a passer, but he has an unreal combination of athleticism and arm talent with a compact release and great f
