  3. I'm all about being critical, but this is the most ridiculous nitpick I've ever read. Captain Hindsight for the win! It worked 5 years later with a completely different gauntlet, so why didn't they think of it 5 years earlier? How do you even know a stone can be removed from the gauntlet made by Eitri? The stones got sucked into that one like their very existence depended on it. Tony didn't rip out the stones from his gauntlet with his bare hands; it worked seemingly because it was his tech that was able to transfer the stones from the gauntlet to his suit.

  9. Um buddy, I'm backing my statement up with an actual fact. This isn't debatable, he finished DEAD last from any player in the league who isolated 100+ times. Just because he has a smooth game and looks to be a good isolation player, doesn't mean he is one....YET. Maybe in due time, but seems like he really thought he was going to be Kobe-esque this year and instead it made him regress.

  14. Do you ever get tired of being this insufferable?

  15. Not necessarily. As a veteran, it doesn't bother me if a player doesn't serve actively if they get drafted. There are multiple ways they can serve without actually being stationed somewhere. Recruiting events, National Guard/AF Reserve, speaking engagements, etc. Recruiting numbers have been down for some time now. Guys like this give the armed services and the service academies a higher profile. The brass knows this, and this is why they even consider letting guys do this. Frankly, I'd be fine if they let him play in exchange for 6 years in the reserves, and on the condition that t

  19. Brad Biggs was on with Bob Papa and Charlie Weis this morning. Weis led the interview. There were some interesting takeaways. On David Montgomery: Biggs said he was impressive and looks like an ideal scheme fit. He said if Montgomery can handle pass pro that he should get significant playing time. He said he looked good running and catching and was in great physical condition. He was also impressed with his attitude. On Kerrith Whyte: Weis let Biggs know he believes Whyte is going to be a steal for the Bears. He said he's biased because Whyte played for his kid at FAU. Char

  21. Yeah. Nelson was my favorite DL prospect in the class relative to the media projections of where they were ranked. When Chandler Jones was drafted, a lot of people (partly because of his long body type, partly because he was seen as not "speedy" enough, and partly because of the Patriots tendencies) assumed that he was supposed to be the next Richard Seymour and play 5-tech. But with Jones, there were flashes of speed-to-power in college where he looked like a terror off the edge. And the Pats cultivated that natural athleticism - he didn't get much bigger, he played with better bend more

  22. Its very easy to understand... take the best DLineman available, bc they're often BPA. I mean we can line up with like 7 of them guys. Q is so athletic he can be a press corner and I don’t see why Leo can’t be a FS in sets. And Anderson blazing speed off the edge. Come on. We’re good 😉

  23. The real waste was the fact that for the last 2 years of Fox, after Robbie was cut, the Bears had useless veteran kickers when they were not going to be any good instead of doing this process then and finding a young cheap guy who could kick. This search should have been done in 2016 instead of using Conner Barth.

  24. Here is my philosophy about the draft and draft value. All of the amateur draft-niks make all of these predictions and write-ups which become the perceived value of the player. When the NFL draft happens you get the actual value of the player. Or at least the value that they will be judged on for the rest of their careers. No one will remember that Joejaun Williams was rated as a 4th round pick. He will always be judged as a 2nd round pick. The expectations for his performance is as a 2nd round pick. He can out perform the pick or perform below the pick/expectations. But no one knows

  27. Daniels historically has not had a double team anchor. His ability to deal with that primarily comes from tremendous hand strength, hustle, toughness, and footwork. He gets pushed out of the gap and then manages to fight back into it after the second lineman has moved into the second level. That's a way it can be done, but it isn't always ideal. If you think his footspeed is going to go, as he ages, you cut bait, because if all he's got are his hands and his motor that's not a player worth the contract that will be requested.

  28. I apologize for the extensive delay. Lots of stuff blindsided me. The 1940's All-Decade Teams: Things are going to be different this time around. As mentioned before, there were a couple of "competing" leagues during the history of the NFL that warranted genuine mention. These are the AAFC of the 1940's and the AFL of the 1960's. This is largely for a key reason; franchises in these leagues(or in the AFL's case, all of them) eventually joined the NFL ranks, justifying their importance. Most understand this about the AFL because not only did their merger with the NFL bring in eve

  29. How exactly does it blow it all to hell? Thanos was privy to new-Nebula's memories because of a synapse crossover with old-Nebula who was still loyal to him. Therefore he knew - because they could freakin' see in the memory of his death - that the old gauntlet melded to his hand and wasn't going to be re-used. It stands to reason that new-Nebula would know that the plan was to implant the re-acquired stones into a gauntlet of Stark/Rocket/Banner's making, therefore old Nebula, and by effect, Thanos would know. So just because Thanos was able to rip a stone out of Gauntlet 2.0 doesn't mean

  40. I'm telling you right now, as long as OBJ is on this team we're not cutting Landry. That's just the reality. Yeah, sure we're going to alienate our new superstar player by cutting one of the three sole reasons he's willing to be here: Landry, Baker, and Henry. I doubt it hard!

  44. Eddy is a phenomenal kicker. If he's healthy, you're getting a guy who has no issues hitting from 60+ and is accurate. Young kickers will have some ups and downs, but if you're willing to ride it out, I think he's going to become one of the NFL's best.
