  1. We can all agree it truly is hilarious how this all worked out for Boston. I had to hear about those damn assets for 6 years and they are really building around a Tatum, Brown, dead Hayward core

  4. Dude you've spent the past 12 months talking about how the Lakers offer was trash, now all of a sudden its too much to give up for a top 5 player in the world?

  5. My whole life my dad never drank. Hasn’t touched booze since his early 20s this year for Father’s Day he wants me to bring some beer up to the house and drink with him. this is some monumental stuff

  7. Well the $46 million cap hit on a team with $8 million in cap space would make that tough to do.

  8. If possible (I'm not a contract aficionado), GB should have traded Rodgers and started a rebuild. He is a high-maintenance primadonna and he isn't good enough anymore to be worth the headache.

  10. Preach. We've heard about how the Laker's offer was garbage, and all of a sudden the Lakers gave up too much? Give me a break Mookie.

  13. Not only that, but Woj said the Celtics were keeping their top 5 players off the table LOL. And as I mentioned, he also said they never made a real offer for PG. I don't even know why we are doing this since whatever that will be said some how Ainge will get defended. I remember this time during last year the talk was that the Celtics were saving their assets to make a move for Anthony Davis… .Well, year later and here we are. Edit: Actual quote from Woj from December:

  14. Woof. Feel like we've been a poor tackling defense for the last several years now. The changes at safety alone should lead to great improvement here.

  15. I was at the game last night, and the stands were full from an hour before the start of the game all the way through the last pitch. Great atmosphere, and it was a great game. It is hard to imagine an athlete being more universally loved than Joe, and they really put together a great presentation.

  18. As much as I could continue to dump on Mookie, here's my thoughts on the trade. It's a risky trade for both sides with plenty of upside for both. For the Lakers, they're tying the franchises' future to Anthony Davis. And there's risk involved with that like anyone else. But the Lakers needed a legitimate co-star for LeBron James, and they got one of the best one available. And now, they're a premier FA destination if they weren't already. This absolutely opens up the door for that 3rd star to join the Lakers (think Kyrie or Kawhi). If they are able to land that 3rd star, those picks

  19. There's only one mad person in this thread lmao. Lakers fans are stoked, we don't even care about the ramifications in 6 years. This is the most exciting its been to be a Laker fan since we were winning ships with Pau Odom and Kobe

  20. Why is @MookieMonstah so worried about the Lakers? Focus on your overrated young players.

  23. I wholeheartedly disagree. I don't think his comments lack humility one bit. He never said he wants a new deal soon. He didn't throw out specific financials. He simply said he loves Chicago, the fans, the team, the coaches, and the organization. Had he said "I saw Carson's deal and hopefully we can get one done here soon," okay fine, but there was nothing even close to that.

  28. Just watched the fight. Fury looked great...But man was that a mismatch. Dude got paid 12.5M for that? That was just terrible as Schwarz had no business being in the ring with him. But the rematch with Wilder is going to be huge. Fury is obviously the much better boxer of the two, but Wilder has the equalizer and if he fights more relaxed, he will have plenty of chances to land his big shots. That's what makes the rematch so intriguing.

  31. If our Dline and Oline is healthy,RBs carry the offense,Dline carries the defense. There is not a single game I look at and say we definately lose.Keenum?Haskins?Im ok either way really.Bad coaching is the only reason we dont post a winning record.11 or 12 wins?who knows,we dont know now, what will be going on then.We can only project. It is not out of the realm of possibilty to make the playoffs this season with that schedule.

  34. Tonight was another magical night. Very nice to come away with a win for Joe. 47-22 now, and still the best record in baseball. Hopefully Perez can give us a good game tomorrow and we can come away with the sweep.

  42. They went from 10th to 3rd by adding arguably the best pass rusher in the league. Look Mack can't do it all on his own but his presence clearly boosted that defense even more. It's like saying when the Bronco's had the Number 1 defense in the league they'd still be number 1 without Von Miller, because of consistent scheme, development, luck, lots of things. Without Von Miller that defense would have fell somewhere between 8th and 12th still solid, but great pass rushers make a difference. Pagano's work on the defensive side of the ball is nothing to sneeze at either.
