Classic prisoner of the moment, after week 11 you said he was a top 12-15 QB.

Pretty much this. He was a stud in 2018 and the entire staff left for greener pasture. They hired a retread coach at USU. They lost the Oline, top RB and top WR. Had to learn a new offense. Example: Love has potential to change a franchise. From the senior bowl: #parktheCarr

Golden Boi update for you boys. Been great the past two days. Really wasn't drinking anything though. Woke up this morning and he started throwing up again. Went to the normal vet, she wasn't in. The back up vet then threw out these wild theories that whatever was blocking him up to begin with could cause his intestines to actually die if it doesn't pass so she casually suggests "exploratory surgery". So we rush him to the animal hospital again. They told us to pump the breaks, that the vomiting could be an esophagus issue because of how sick he's been. So we dropped him off, probably for the night. This was him trying to get in my lap in the waiting room because he hates it there. Now you know what he looks like, a little.

Sorry but if the Sants can put up 40+ on the 49ers, The Chiefs are absolutely capable of doing so as well. Unlikely, but Just saying.

Better Oline and believe it or not, better receiving weapons. Also, Jacobs is better than any RB in NE.

I gotta be honest. This is a really tough question to answer. I have to see what we do in free agency with our new GM. If it’s Berry, I could see a trade down and us drafting Josh Jones. However, a LOT of teams need OT’s. So it’d be wise not to gamble.

I hope KC destroys them. There is potential for Mahomes to make them look silly, and they played strong against the run against Tennessee. Go KC!!

I didn't read all of the crap posting we aren't supposed to be talking about. However, here is my opinion on the matter I think weed should be legal. Just like alcohol. However, even if it were legal you are still going to have to pass a DUI test if it is smelled when you are pulled over. Until it is legal in a specific area it should lead to a probable cause search if the officer wants to. Even if a human officer doesn't smell it a canine officer still may and that too should lead to a search. Just like seeing white powder on a drivers nose or needles on the passenger seat. Don't want to get searched for something illegal don't have something illegal. As far as a cop lying and saying they smell marijuana that is wrong and those cops shouldn't be cops. However, just because you don't smell green sitting in a car with weed in it doesn't mean others can't smell it. Like pnies said, 99% of cops mean well. Sure there will be mistakes none of us are perfect but the only real issue is the 1% that have agendas or are dirty, those need removed. Now, to tie this to football so my post covers the rules I was just talking about referees (cops) and the Patriots (those with drugs) and enforcement of cheating (breaking laws).

We have a top 7ish Center on a top 15 contract. We are cutting this player because we feel we are spending too many resources at the Center position. We then follow this up by drafting a Center in the second round. We then take this money that we saved and use it to change our defensive line from "Kenny Clark and a bunch of dudes who were drafted as Packers" to "Kenny Clark and a bunch of dudes who were drafted by other teams?" Jernigan isn't a needle mover. Billings isn't a needle mover, is too short to be a fit, doesn't offer any pass rush, and has degenerative knees. Onyemata is fine, but he's not fixing this group. Trevathan is 30, coming off a bad year before he got hurt and has worse coverage metrics than Martinez. We then take a 1st round ILB with the DL not fixed in front of him. This team isn't even better. You just moved bodies around.

I'm sure there's a leak route counter to this play designed to make the defense think it's that end around we love, but Kittle runs a crossing route to the deep left of the field where nobody is.

Heres what happened; cop sees a speeder. Cop smells weed. Cop searches car and FINDS what he smelled. Cop doesnt even cite for the weed. Thats it. How does that lead you to the conclusion of “corruption”? this is 2 off the field stories in a row now where people have to throw in their personal gripes about police backed up with “facts” which are nothing more than skewed and exaggerated personal experience and crap they read on the internet.

What exactly should he be suspended for? The fact that marijuana was found in his vehicle? He wasn’t charged. It takes four positive tests just to merit a suspension in the NFL. I’m not trying to justify him at all, he seems like a questionable dude as a whole. I’m just not really sure that this incident is going to register.

Defense really played with fire this year too. I mean you had some terrible moments, Chiefs one quarter 28pts cause of Curtis Riley, Packers whooped our D bad entire game, Darnold destroyed us, Titan game, but MANY of these games, Carr was the main reason for these lop sided games and keeps the defense on the field too much. Viking is mostly on Carr not taking any chances, just like the Viking game before that. Vikings scored a lot because of our offense, not our defense. Carr will completely give up on drives unless something is wide open. Which, unless your the Chiefs, just isn’t the way things are gonna be. You HAVE to throw guys open. The Jaguars game is also on Carr, as is the second Chief game. Second Chief loss was all him. Two INTs, throwing short of the chains on 3rd down, and not willing take a single chance throughout that game. Our D held Mahomes to his worst performance of his career and the Chiefs worst offensive performance in multiple years. That 40 burger didn’t have much to do with the Chief Offense.

If you’re down multiple scores with 2 minutes left it should be horrible odds to get the ball back. If it’s any easier an offense will go right back out against an exhausted defence. why should a team play like hot garbage for 58 minutes deserve a reprieve that makes it easier to fluke their way into a victory? Making the onside kick anything more than a snowballs chance in hell is pretty dumb imo. You had 58 minutes to keep the score close and couldn’t. Boohoo that it’s hard to steal one with next to no time left. Be better. Football is a turn based strategy game, not a wacky silly rooty tooty participant-ribbon “lets give the losers an easier time” extravaganza.

Whatever city is willing to mortgage it’s future and spend a billion dollars all for the benefit of letting a business come to your town and do business. Public funds should never be used on a stadium to subsidize a business as large as the NFL. It’s gotten beyond ridiculous at this point.

The Cleveland Browns 7** Assuming the 3 QBs of Burrow, Tua, and Herbert go top 10, rank the 7 players the Browns should target for selection over a trade-down option. **If you DON'T think there are 7 players that the Browns should value over a trade down, specify how many players you think there are that should be valued over a trade-down and then rank those players. Bonus: Add a few Players that you'd want to target via a trade-down. ---------- The 4 players the Browns should select over a trade down scenario: 1.) Chase Young, DE Ohio STate 2.) Jedrick Wills Jr., OT Alabama 3.) Jeffrey Okudah, CB Ohio State 4.) Andrew Thomas, LT Georgia (too many red flags) -------------- The 2 players the Browns should be tempted to select over a trade down scenario: 5.) Isaiah Simmons, Hybrid-LB Clemson 6.) Derrick Brown, DT Auburn ---------- The 11 players the Browns should target in trade down scenarios of all types (i.e., short versus far trade downs) 7.) Javon Kinlaw, DT South Carolina 8.) Robert Hunt, OT Louisiana Lafayette 9.) CeeDee Lamb, WR Oklahoma 10.) Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama 11.) Jalen Reagor, WR TCU 12.) Tristan Wirfs, OG Iowa (The Rest of the league's going to see him as a raw guard and he'll fall between 13th to 19th). 13.) AJ Epenesa, DE Iowa 14.) Jordan Elliot, DT Missouri 15.) Kristian Fulton, CB LSU 16.) Jack Driscoll, RT Auburn

Socioeconomic class is an important predictor in incarceration and class is an essential aspect often missed in discussions of all social phenomena. However, class is not a predictor historically and to present day over and above racial/ethnic categorization as numerous data points and research illustrated that likelihood of incarceration is higher for people of color than for non people of color at every economic level as African-American, Indigenous, and Latino men raised in the top 1 percent were as likely to be incarcerated as their White counterparts raised in households earning about from 33,000 to 36,000. Class is important, but does not explain incarceration over and above other factors alone and Class hierarchies themselves have been historically engineered to consist mainly of certain people and not others. There are dumb criminals. However, being arrested or stop and frisked is often independent of intelligence.

I'll talk race, religion and even occasionally sports on this board but I don't do politics... Then again, I think politics are stupid. I don't agree with either side. I have my own opinions and they don't conform to sets of rules put in front of me by either side. I still vote when I think it's important though.

They can be watching anyone. Sure, they'll catch bad guys in the process, while violating everyone's right to privacy. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have freedom and my civil liberties not being violated rather than being a little safer. Couldn't a cop just make up an excuse to say they had probable cause? I'm not saying most cops would do that or if that happens often or not, but it'd be naive to think it never happens. I'm not even disagreeing with other things that you're saying. I think most cops are good people who mean well and they have an extremely tough job - especially in dangerous cities. Most cops I've met and known have been really good people - I can only think of one bad experience I had with a cop. So my point isn't about being anti-cop by any means, cause I am not. it's more about some of the laws themselves and the people who make them that I have issues with.

I am going to be writing a bigger check than you to Uncle Sam dude, and not only do I have my W-4 set up to take 0 allowances, I actually have HR take out more than that in taxes. I don't have the exact value of what I owe because I'm waiting for a 1099 still, but its probably going to be somewhere around $3k. And so far I've gone the whole time without acting jealous of unemployed people. Being unemployed is miserable, and making more money than you thought in a year is awesome. Be an adult and stop whining.

You have to understand that Pace was very upfront with George and Ted when he said this was going to take time. He came into a literal ****-show in Chicago and had to gut not only the team but the building as well (coaches, trainers, hell even Halas Hall). Pace took over in 2015, with a defense that just earned the honors as "Worst In Chicago Bears History". Fast forward 3 years and our defense was ranked #1 in the NFL. Pace stripped down one of the oldest -- if not THE oldest -- rosters in the NFL and now has the following core pieces: WR - Allen Robinson OG - Cody Whitehair OG - James Daniels (rated 5th at LG by PFF last season) NT - Eddie Goldman DE - Akiem Hicks ILB - Roquan Smithh OLB - Khalil Mack FS - Eddie Jackson That's solid talent with a handful of elite players. Clearly we need to do upgrade the talent level offensively, and I think we would be fools to not give Pace and Nagy every opportunity to succeed on that side of the ball. Nagy is here through 2022, Pace is here through 2021. Unless the team completely falls apart next season (I don't see that happening) I can't imagine Pace and Nagy being fired. I'm firmly of the opinion they should be given another shot at drafting a QB if Mitch fails... but I'm one of the few on this planet that think the kid has not yet hit his ceiling. Trubisky is the least experienced QB to ever be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft since the 1967 merger. That means something as much as some care to ignore it.

They’re always going to “smell marijuana” makes it pretty Clear what your stance is as well as your allusion to riding around with people trying to hide weed in their car. Make the argument you’re too scared to make or stop talking about things you don’t know anything about. I know that will be hard because it LITERALLY sounds like your life’s work to do so. Enlighten me about police misconduct related to narcotic searches. I beg you.

Somebody posted would we take the colts #13 for Carr. Of course we would. Hell, we would take a lot less. If someone offered us a 2nd rounder, we would make the deal. We might even do it a for a 3rd.

I'd like a Rounders 2 to involve a different type of story line. Like, Mikey McD is trying to win another WSOP main event (he's a legend at this point having won the most in history) but he's thrown off when he sees Worm at one of the many tables. He ends up catching a bad run of cards and forces hands leading to an early exit and the announcers/viewers are baffled by this type of play from the GOAT. Worm ends up at the final table and wins it all after flopping the nuts and holding strong (similar way to how McD beat KGB). Mike is 100% convinced Worm conned his way to winning millions but Worm's straight and the people at WSOP prove no wrongdoing by Worm. Mike walks away in refusal to believe this and doesn't play a WSOP event while Worm goes on a run of sorts. Mike sticks to his guns, playing cards around Vegas but never during an event and eventually meets the person who turns out to be Worm's partner. This person works for WSOP and Mike puts it together that this is the person behind Worm's run (I wouldn't know how, I'm not creative enough lol). Mike can't prove it but he's figured it out (whatever it is) and he finally enters the next WSOP main event, after Worm grosses the highest winnings in history for a year. He plays his way, straight up, to the final table where, shocker, Worm is there. They end up heads up for the bracelet. Mikey slow plays it for a while, letting Worm cut into his stash. Then BOOM Mikey folds something huge and Worm figures out that he knows. I don't know how to end it though lol. I'm simply not creative enough for this stuff.
