  2. Good. It would have been BS if he was suspended at all this season.

  3. Good deal. People who wanted a lifetime ban are sure to be gathering the pitchforks. I’m getting a front row seat.

  6. What was worse the incident itself or his completely unsubstantiated claim as to why Rudolph set him off 🧐 Will be easy to root against him this year lol

  10. I wouldn't be surprised to see them grab a couple of linemen and maybe a couple of tight ends. Regardless on whether you like or dislike Trubisky fixing the line should be the number one concern for this offense.

  12. No offense, but the only one here who is a pretentious, pompous know-it-all is yourself. Let's not forget that we were all enjoying a great start to the season, when at 7-0 you just felt the need to see all the flaws of what turned out to be a really great team. But since you clearly just want to gloat about being "right," let's not forget that there were two parts to your prediction. So let's make sure we keep it around for a year of posterity: So obviously, since you stand on what you said, you're predicting next year's team is far superior. So here is a list of the things that will

  13. If we're taking into account the opportunity cost of what was RIGHT THERE FOR THE TAKING?... Who was picked after Tony Mandarich was picked SECOND overall in 1989?... #2 Barry Sanders #3 Derrick Thomas #4 Deion Sanders ugh.

  14. Not even close. If this were a thread about the biggest waste of talent, maybe, but they got 50 games, 44 sacks and a first team all pro season out of him.

  18. I think he'll be back. Unfortunately, I think the Vikings will be on a perpetual Ground Hog Day loop. Having a decent year, make the playoffs but not go very far one year, only to be followed up be the next year missing the playoffs and maybe being less than .500. In the "good years" the Vikings will always be one or two players away from a championship contender. In the bad years, the Vikings will have addressed those one or two players, only to have a critical failure in another area. I feel like we fans have been in this loop since about 1980! I swear, I'm hearing Sonny and Cher singi

  19. Hopefully Rudolph learned his lesson. That he wasn’t on the Internet and if you are going to pretend to want a fight, some people will call you on the tough guy act.

  20. Mahomes is a very good player but I feel like I’m the only one not buying all the hype, I don’t believe he’s better than Rodgers or Wilson let alone being far and away the best. Maybe I’m not a prisoner of the moment or maybe I’m just incorrect 😁😁 Anyone else feel like the media is just driving this guy down our throats? Every time I’ve watched him he’s made some brilliant plays but also some really amateur plays and errors too. I actually don’t hate the Chiefs so I don’t think I’m being too biased!

  21. Last airbender or the movie? I disagree on both counts, but I understand the movie being overrated. I got one, Game of Thrones was perfect the whole way through. Even though their military theory was complete booty the last three episodes of the season and even during battle of winterfell, the medieval society they lived in wouldn't have known that. Military theory was pretty terrible the whole way through for game of thrones as it would have been. They wouldn't have known about the things we've learned about because of past failures and successes that we know now. ALSO, the politi

  25. Swinging a helmet at a guy who isn't wearing a helmet would be more akin to a batter running out to the mound after being hit by a pitch and hitting the pitcher over the head with his bat.

  26. Glad to see him reinstated with no suspension whatsoever this year. After all, the only thing he did was hit a guy over the head with a football helmet. Assault with a deadly weapon isn't really that big of a deal to the NFL (when a good player does it).

  27. Does this matter? There are a lot of DUMB people working for NFL teams. The job is full of nepotism. It's all who you know, not what you know. You could find better front office scouts off twitter than some of the clowns who work for these organizations, trust me.

  29. Financial details aside, I think it just makes sense to keep him. He’s going to be more valuable to us than any kind of return we might get. He’s talented enough to be able to bounce back big time. Yes, I understand the odds of that are decreasing the further along we go, but if he were to go off next year (which there IS still a CHANCE of) for another team, we’re not going to care about the late round draft pick that we’d get for him—because that’s all we’d be getting in return for him at this point in time—if we’d even be able to get that much

  30. They gave five to Haynesworth for stomping on Andre Gurode's exposed head, and I'd personally quantify that as worse.

  31. I don't know about you, but that was definitely the most shameful part of late 90's to early 2000's baseball that I can remember. Nothing else happened in baseball during that time which was even remotely as controversial as that aSsAuLt.

  32. well, i'm allowed to hold different people to different standards based on their reputation or standing with me. and example: I'd let my niece dog-sit and give her keys to my house while I went on vacation. But the guy doing street cleanup as part of his community service requirements wouldn't be given that same kind of trust. so no, i'm not a hypocrite, because the two things you're trying to compare aren't the same at all.

  35. I never consider players whose careers are derailed by injuries to be busts. In my book, that's not bad scouting, it's just bad luck. You can't blame a guy for getting hurt in a sport as violent as NFL football. Nobody wants to get hurt.

  38. The Seahawks weren’t depleted this year. At least not for most of it. They boasted a strong run game and a solid line. Lockett, Metcalf, Gordon, Moore, and Hollister were decent weapons. This isn’t the Seahawks team that couldn’t run and couldn’t block, like we’ve seen Wilson lead before. And no, they weren’t the Chiefs either. Clearly below, but they weren’t garbage.
