  2. If he posted more in the Browns subforum he'd probably have 10k. We don't care, we throw likes on everything. Our standards for conversation meet our standards for football.

  4. Yes, it's very sad. You will never find any sympathy towards O'Brien from me. I know the Raiders have a lot of painful memories too but all I can think of is at least you guys got a first for Cooper and didn't have to pay him 100 million in 2020 for his butter fingers lol

  5. I love this move...Burns is the definition of a flyer...if he pays off he will be excellent and with Pagano here you have to have a little faith...if he flames out then no one cares...perfect athlete to try and mould.

  8. You know I have to hand it to this sub forum over last 5 years. Without hindsight many regulars here timely (not everyone there was debate pro and con for each, but more than one was dead on with each issue): 1) Pounded table for Mahomes from early offseason and long before draft (I was not one of them sadly - wish I was). 2) Did not want Floyd. 3) Did not want White. 4) Did not want Shaheen. 5) Wanted Hooper in draft. 6) Wanted Chris Jones in draft. 7) Wanted Bears to address OT in 2016 of which there were several good options. 8) Wanted Bears to pick up Hunt (who would be our best RB right now). Its not all negatives. It is easy to predict failure and be usually right as most fail. A lot of reporters make their living patting themselves on back that this guy or that guy will fail. But as you can see people called Mahomes, called Hooper, called Chris Jones, etc. We have people that don’t agree, but that bring reasons to their opinions and not just snark and attacks on poster. Why I stick around.

  9. Really hope we can draft Lamb @12 and delpit @19 this would give us the #1 WR we need and a saftey that complements johnathan A.

  10. Hey Guys been a while, thanks to work. But im back until the world calms down, thanks to brady i am actually excited for the upcoming season. So i decided to do a quick mock draft off that website yall were using. This is almost a dream scenario for me, i would be fine with eason in the 2nd and maybe a guy like cam akers in the third, but i feel like Hurts is very good a being a running qb, but when it comes to passing he is just okay. So if he learns from the goat for 2+ years hopfully he can become another Kyler or Russell wilson. Plus if it doesn't work out losing a third round on him isnt that bad.

  11. Bill O'Brien will now look to trade Deshaun Watson to give Hoyer the start... because starting QBs shouldn't have tattoos.

  12. Good move if it's a cheap 1 year deal. Agholor wasn't good at all last year, but has been a starter at WR for several years and is still young. If he can restart his career here, it's a good move.

  13. Love the discussion the guy generates... And as with everything, we have to take it with a grain of salt. Haters gon' hate... But keep it coming KT. If people don't like it, they don't have to click on it or comment on it. #fthehaterz!

  14. I don’t think we needed to necessarily get a big splash free agent, but I worry that save Fuller we haven’t even gotten a guy that’s projects as a solid starter. We downgraded at left guard from Flowers and haven’t spent that money elsewhere. Our offense was beyond anemic last year and we’ve managed to only downgrade so far this offseason. If you assume our first round pick is Chase, that leaves us counting on a bunch of third round guys and beyond to be contributors straight away, and that’s not necessarily a high percentage success strategy. If you want Dwayne to be successful, I think you need to take some real steps on that side of the ball.

  21. No to the first round WR. No to the undersized edge rusher. No to the defensive back who can't cover. No to the short NT No to the second NT of the draft.

  22. Desean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Josh Norman his first two years, Landon Collins was our best defensive player last year, London Fletcher etc. I mean, they haven't all been bad but I do agree we shouldn't be going after the big splash. I wasn't under the impression that paying Austin Hooper $10m a year would be a big splash.

  26. The problem isn’t the trades. The problem is the timing of the trades. They received classified information that the general public did not have access to in the hours or days before the trades. Acting on that information is wrong and I’m not really sure how to defend it. That classified briefing likely had quite a bit of information and intelligence that is not common knowledge related to the spread and extent of the virus and the ability of the US to cope with it. Yep, the "public knowledge" defense goes out the window because the timing of the transactions clearly indicate they acted on the classified briefing. And I don't look at this as a victimless crime either. For every share they sold, they were screwing someone who was buying one. I don't know if it's illegal or not, but it's nakedly corrupt.

  30. Beggars can't be choosers. This is a weak TE draft class and free agent class, and we needed something. I didnt expect us to get anyone. IMO, this is primarily in case Vance gets hurt again, we arent left with nothing. Ebron isn't great, but he isnt terrible. Mainly just inconsistent, but in a league where TE isnt particularly a deep position, I can think of many worse trios to have than Vance/Ebron/Vannett.

  32. I don't understand how I went from one of the strongest anti-Rodgers posters to smack dab in the middle in like six months. I mean yeah the guy has done some ****ty QBing the last two years, but he's also played some incredible games and the tools are largely all still there. He needs to fix some **** but I'd still rather have him than 95% of QBs in the league for the next couple of years. Like, does anyone think Deshaun Watson or Ryan Tannehill are better options that Rodgers? Just to win a game this year, who's the list of guys you'd take over him?

  36. Non-Cousins talk - I’m going to really miss Everson. He’s been an incredible success story, a staple of one of the best defenses in the NFL, a great advocate for mental health, and one of my favorite players to watch, even if he did jump offsides a bit too often. its going to be weird without him.
