But I'm probably still going to have to use the Create-A-Character feature to get Aaron Hernandez back in the game.7 points

So over my vacation, I've been doing a very deep dive into the analytics of the past 15 Vikings/Packers match-ups and have came away with a pretty neat stat.... In games where the Vikings and Packers play within the first month of the season, the Vikings are undefeated against the Packers when Minnesota has a lead at the end of the 4th quarter. Like wise, the Packers are undefeated when THEY have a lead at the end of the 4th quarter. So with that being said, the games in this rivalry are usually won by the team with the most points at the end of the 4th quarter which means that if M7 points

@ET80 has been modkilled. He was Preacher Lambrick, God-Fearing Flock Leader, Pacifist-Aligned. He was a stump, and may provide commentary on the game, while suffering no repercussions whatsoever for anything he says unless it upsets me.5 points

rack 12. Malfatron Can imitate characters remarkably well, and is very versatile, can make multiple playstyles work for him. Very well liked, although some dont take him seriously. Malf is Weird Al Yankovic5 points

I dislike Gettleman a great deal...hard to lay this at his feet. The struggles on the field, sure...but even then it was only his rookie season and we never know what would have worked out. Not like other good corners haven't struggled their rookie year (especially late round 1st rookie corners). The armed robbery stuff is just crazy...even if a guy has less than ideal interviews and background info, I don't know that you kind of expect that, so really hard for me to blame Dave.5 points

Short term. Low price. High talent. This is a steal. If it wasn't for that off the field incident caught on camera. Sticking with KC and Mahomes, Hunt would be pushing for a contract below McCaffrey and Kamara but in the Joe Mixon and Dalvin Cook range this offseason.4 points

I completely agree. Paying university rates for English 101 is asinine. Same goes for paying to live in a dorm. I’m encouraging my boys to stay at home as long as possible and save their money. Do what you can at a CC and then transfer. As far as the Northeastern tuition, call it whatever you like, but I don’t think anyone would say that opening campus and then expelling kids for doing what every able brained human in the country knew kids would do on a college campus is right or decent. It’s just another example of people in positions of authority not wanting to make import4 points

Jumping in late - but I think the circumstances behind Northeastern University is more along the lines of theft. Generally speaking, education is incredibly valuable. Is it as valuable as the money paid into it? Depends on the course focus, depends on the person, depends on the school. There are too many moving parts to make a widespread generalization on our educational system (outside of it being excessively expensive) but specific to Northeastern, it feels a lot like theft.4 points

Completely agree. I have no freaking clue how we're writing off somebody who set the rookie TD record with Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens at the helm. Throwing to Jarvis Landry and a bunch of meh.3 points

If it becomes a habit, maybe. If it’s isolated to one or two incidents? Don’t see why that’d be an indictment at all. I highly doubt Baker went into the interviews like “yeah coach I like chocolate more than vanilla, long walks on the beach, oh, and running people’s ****”.3 points

Thats not how that works. The signing bonus (maybe the $42m?) is spread over all 5 years. Roughly 8.5m/year. Which means the final $12m of the extension would be his salary the final 2 years. So his cap hit those years will be roughly $14-15m/year in his "twilight years"3 points

I'll have mine paid off in a year and a half I believe. I'm gonna be pretty aggressive with them now and try to get them paid down quickly. Economically speaking, I think your best bet is to get a 2 year degree at a community college and then move on to something bigger if you want. I find it silly to call college debt "theft" since its not a requirement for one to work at some capacity. Well, maybe the taxes are theft...3 points

Reallllly hope Wagner being RT 2 is simply due to his elbow injury, otherwise, Gute wasted $6m/year on a backup RT who cannot beat out a mediocre-average NFL guard for the RT position. Also, Burks ILB 2 = yuck Nijman LT 2 = yuck3 points

People always say this, but it did work with Niles Paul. You have to realize Niles was going to get cut if he didn’t make the transition to TE. So, for him in 2012 it was, make the transition to TE, end up on the practice squad or worse, get cut and possibly be entirely out of the league at the age of 25. Quick anecdote time. About that time (summer before 2012), I helped pitch in with a one day training camp guys like Lorenzo Alexander, Niles Paul, and a few other players (whomever our kicker was at the time was there ... and it was clear he was the kicker in comparison ) held3 points

Sorry our teams couldn't do the deal. Would've been a W for both of us. Another valuable pick or two for a rebuilding franchise and a contender gets to add an impact player. Deals like this shouldn't be blocked.3 points

Williams was fine retiring. Because of that, there was no trade (once the 2019 midseason trade deadline expired) that was available to Washington that "benefited" them more than what they got. They completely screwed the pooch on dealing him because of Brice and Dan's egos.2 points

LOL I knew we'd get to this post eventually. And here's where I address you directly. You've been here for a hot minute. And all you want to do is hear (from everyone) that your ideas about football are the right ones (sometimes they are...many times they are not). And the ones who disagree, you quickly run and hide with the "Agree to Disagree" gambit or the "FACTS" charade (even though most of the time it isn't facts, it's just your opinion). In the off-chance that you actually do stay to talk, you repeat the same mantra while ascribing to everyone the thoughts of a single post2 points

Do you remember when everyone was celebrating the departure of Thompson and I said Gute is Thompson? The Packers will never be the all-in, weaken your future to strengthen your present team. The Packers are and forever will be the premium position, premium investment, non-premium position, non-premium investment team. They will never splurge on IOL, WR, TE, RB. They will prioritize re-signing their own. They will not make flashy moves for talent on other teams. I guarantee we were probably offering a 5th and a 6th for Sanders and that Jets receiver whose name I can’2 points

Have always struggled considerably with my weight up and down. Been as high as 300, as low as 158 over the past 10-15 years (was always big growing up...I was an 11 pound baby at birth LOL). I haven't ever been a hardcore lifter or anything (I tend to do better with at home videos and programs like P90X than I do going solo at the gym, so I've never been a big guy, nor is my intention to be). When I moved to Vegas, I was about 160. I added 15 pounds (purposely) over the next year or so when I moved here and was in the best shape of my life. Then real life happened lol. We have a running back, we just drafted Antonio Gibson, and he showed so well in training camp that he made a Hall of Fame RB expendable. At this time, we don’t know if we need a guy like Kamara or not bc we have Gibson, McKissic who’s a slightly bigger version of Chris Thompson and we have Bryce Love who is healthy and once he gets confident in his knee again should look similar to the running back that was a Heisman Torphy candidate his junior and senior years in college. If he hadn’t hurt his knee toward the end of his senior year in college he could’ve been a late 1st round pick, or b2 points
