  11. I was not a fan of making Kyle Allen the QB. But I’m just gutted for the kid at the moment. It’s not too often that you have a real, unhindered opportunity to be an NFL starting QB and live your dream. I just hate seeing it ripped away on an injury like this.

  13. You definitely have to see what's wrong with the offense. It's been inconsistent all season long, and it's finally come to a head in this game. They need to make adjustments. I know Brady's been throwing better deep this season, but this offense, like past Arians offenses, feels way too all or nothing. The problem is they don't have a RB who can really work underneath. And I don't think they have a clue on how to incorporate all their receivers in the game. I could see Brown/Evans/Godwin turning out to be a trio that looks way better on paper than it does in reality. I don't thi

  15. I don't disagree that they're flawed but I just don't think it eliminates them from championship contention. Still a whole half season to play to improve. It's still Brady's first season there. Every team has flaws. I ain't ready to eliminate any teams (within reason here)

  22. Like I said earlier if they could limit Henry they'd have a shot at winning this game. The defense did their job today. Nagy deserves a big F again. Another 3rd quarter with 0 points. What exactly does he even do at halftime ?

  23. That’s why we have to go for it on that 4th down and put the game in the hands of the offense instead of playing for field position with a weak defense.

  26. We’re in second place all alone — assuming Pittsburgh awakes from its slumber sometime this evening — and Alex just threw for 325 yards in 3 quarters. In Rivera’s mind, this is a no-brainer. This is the ultimate bright, shining, flashing red wailing siren of an example of why you need someone in the organization who can overrule or at least challenge the head coach. It is, I believe, awfully close to being an objectively wrong long-term decision. If they believe Haskins has any shot of being the long-term QB, he should be playing to see if he can make some progress and earn the spot

  28. Drew needs to find a way to extend the play. You cannot play QB in this league if you can't extend the play. People read a comment like that and think of someone running around, but that isn't the only way to extend a play. Even just one of the following constitutes extending the play: * Calling the perfect (or just the right) protection * Subtle movement within the pocket/climbing the pocket whilst still looking downfield * Breaking contain of the pass rush (NOT the same as just running outside the pocket) * Breaking sack attempts It just feels that the protection has to be so

  32. Indeed he is, indeed he is. 13 TDs in 7 games is insane. My fantasy team really appreciates as well lol. Crazy how the Seahawks have had two of their best defensive performances in the last two years against us and against other teams they look like the worst defense in the league. Trading all that for Adams seems like a waste. I believe the four games Adams has played, opposing QBs are averaging over 400 passing yards. He's just not the type of difference maker you trade that much for.

  33. I will say, I like how the offense responded after Morgan Moses got fired up on the sideline. That being said, 5 turnovers today was the difference. 3 INTs, and two bad fumbles. If the punt return fumble doesn't happen, there is a strong chance we win this game. With the exception of the INT when McKissic slipped, the INTs were back breakers. Alex Smith had a good game in relief sans 3 really bad throws.

  37. I don’t want to be an alarmist here, but I genuinely feel like these guys are better coached than us. Some of the things they’re doing — getting on the ball quickly for the 4th down play or to negate our chance to challenge the questionable catch — are things that disciplined and well-prepared teams are able to accomplish on the fly.

  44. Cam Newton is huge. Can barely stay on the field. Russell Wilson is much smaller, but has never missed a game in 9 years playing behind one of the worst offensive lines annually. Size isn't really a big deal, and durability just varies from person to person regardless.
