  1. Had my first MRI today after finishing radiation and my first 6 weeks of chemo back on October 23rd My doctor was extremely happy with how the scans came back. Said everything is looking really good. I have another 6 months of chemo to do but its just one week of chemo pills each of those 6 months. He said it should cleanup anything that is leftover.

  7. Mock Draft 4.0 Honestly got a little tired of doing the explanations partway through the second round so I just gave up on that but I will explain my reasoning for any pick if you ask. Round 1 1. Sacramento Sasquatch (via Portland): Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson - Seems like an obvious pick. Whether Counselor trades the pick, trades Burrow, or keeps both QBs, Lawrence will 100% be the first overall pick. 2. Williamsport Soul Reavers (via Hungary): Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State - Roethlisberger is doing the job right now but Williamsport doesn't have a long term option on the roster unless you still think Darnold can be that guy. I have my doubts and WSR is in a perfect position here to pick up a very talented QB to be the future of the franchise. 3. Williamsport Soul Reavers (via Oklahoma City): Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon - Williamsport has some solid/decent OT guys like Dawkins and Jackson but neither I think are good enough to stop you from taking Sewell. Plus Dawkins is a FA. WSR can take Sewell and not have to pay Dawkins. Then as long as Jackson keeps playing like he was before being injured, you've got a very nice young OT duo. 4. Sacramento Sasquatch: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State - SacTown is upset Sewell didn't get to them but still lands an elite defensive playmaker here in Parsons. He and Murray should form a great young LB group that Sacramento will enjoy for years to come. 5. Seoul Dragons: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU - The fact that Seoul keeps switching QBs makes me feel like they don't view either as the answer at QB. They grab this season's QB riser in Wilson to hopefully be that guy. 6. Antarctica Katabatic Beasts: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida - It's a little early for Pitts but other guys available right now don't really fit Antarctica's needs. I've noticed that Pickle likes Counselor's mocks where he gets Pitts so I'll give him Pitts too so I can get a like. @Pickle Rick 7. Sacramento Sasquatch (via Camden): Ja'Marr Chase, WR, LSU - I considered going with Chase at 4 so Sacramento is happy to still get him here. He provides a dynamic #1 WR for the offense. 8. Rome Eternals: Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan - Only one Rome EDGE player is under contract for next season and they desperately needed pass rush help anyways. Enter Kwity Paye with his relentless motor and explosive athleticism. 9. Sacramento Sasquatch (via New Orleans): Wyatt Davis, OG, Ohio State - There were a couple of directions I thought about going with here but felt that Wyatt Davis would be a great addition to that young OL. He should be able to slot in as a starter right away and hold down the fort for a long time. 10. Cuba Smugglers: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama - Cuba's secondary is a little bit sus so they add one of, if not the, top CBs in the class. 11. Ivory Coast Black Rhinos: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame - This is a slight reach but IC's needs just really did not fit the players available. Eichenberg is still a good player though and could fill a huge need for them with Trent Williams being a FA. 12. Camden Hood Rats (via Lancaster): Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech - Another Atlantic division member with some CB problems and he gets the other top CB in the class. They're both very close but I personally like Farley better. 13. Singapore Sentinels: Jeremiah Owusu-Karamoah, LB, Notre Dame - Singapore has Deion Jones but that is literally it. I think SirA will like JOK's versatility and athleticism. 14. Gotham Gashslayers: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State - Gotham has no long term option at QB. With so few holes on their roster they can afford to take Lance here, who will likely go higher in the real draft. He can keep competing with FA/Shark Tank QBs for a year or two while Lance develops. 15. Williamsport Soul Reavers: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama - WSR has made moves to upgrade the WR position but needs more help. DeVonta Smith comes in and can do a little bit of everything for the Soul Reavers. 16. Seoul Dragons (via Berlin): Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami - Seoul gets some good value here even though I think ultimately this is Rousseau's range. This has become a huge boom or bust draft for Seoul now with Wilson and Rousseau. Round 2 1. Sacramento Sasquatch (via Portland): Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina - Sacramento has some good young CBs but could use a more immediate starter in case those guys don't develop. Horn is exactly the kind of defender Counselor likes, a straight up bully who will get physical with opposing WRs. 2. Ivory Coast Black Rhinos (via Hungary): Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama - Not really a huge need for IC right now but this is a pick with an eye to the future. Robbie Anderson is only on a 2 year deal so you take Waddle to be depth for your first year and then he can take over as your speed threat when Anderson walks. 3. Ivory Coast Black Rhinos (via Oklahoma City): Jordan Davis, INT, Georgia - Again, a little bit early for Davis here but IC is a little weak on the inside already and has some FAs coming up as well. 4. Sacramento Sasquatch: Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech - Another guy I know Counselor likes. Darrisaw can be a swing tackle or a potential starter down the line. 5. Sacramento Sasquatch (via Seoul): Quincy Roche, EDGE, Miami - Sacramento lacks pass rush with Chaisson not being an immediate contributor. He adds Roche here to hopefully bring the heat to opposing QBs. 6. Antarctica Katabatic Beasts: Sam Cosmi, OT, Texas - Antarctica desperately needs OL help and needs to address it with multiple picks ideally. They start here with Cosmi. 7. Rome Eternals (via Camden): Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State - Rome only has two CBs under contract for next season so they take Wade here who can play inside and outside. 8. Rome Eternals: Jay Tufele, INT, USC - INT is not necessarily Rome's biggest need but with the FAs he has, he's going to likely need a new starter and some depth. 9. Camden Hood Rats (via New Orleans): Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma - Camden has no center under contract for next season so they add the best on in the draft here. 10. New Orleans Jazz (via Cuba): Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama - Moses can be a good complement to AJ Johnson for New Orleans and replaces their many FAs at the position this offseason. 11. Ivory Coast Black Rhinos: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon - This feels like a great fit to me. Holland can come in and play multiple roles for IC. 12. Camden Hood Rats (via Lancaster): Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota - While Bateman is no replacement for Hopkins, he can still fill a role in this offense. 13. Singapore Sentinels: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia - Singapore could use help at this position. While Campbell may not be an immediate starter, he's got all of the tools to potentially be elite down the road. 14. Gotham Gashslayers: Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas - Gotham only has two EDGE players under contract for next season. One of those is Clowney but Ossai could fill in nicely across from him with his versatility. 15. Williamsport Soul Reavers: Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia - Williamsport takes the super athletic pass rusher to play across from Burns. 16. Berlin Blitzkrieg: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson - This is a popular mock pick for Berlin but it just makes sense. Aaron Jones is a potential FA but Berlin needs help even if he's re-signed. Round 3 1. Antarctica Katabatic Beasts (via Portland): Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG, USC 2. Antarctica Katabatic Beasts (via Hungary): Marvin Wilson, INT, Florida State 3. Oklahoma City EF5s: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue 4. Gotham Gashslayers (via Sacramento): Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State 5. Seoul Dragons: Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia 6. Antarctica Katabatic Beasts: Paris Ford, S, Pittsburgh 7. Gotham Gashslayers (via Camden): Chazz Surratt, LB, North Carolina 8. Rome Eternals: Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU 9. New Orleans Jazz: Jaylen Twyman, INT, Pittsburgh 10. Seoul Dragons (via Cuba): Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU 11. Ivory Coast Black Rhinos: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami 12. Sacramento Sasquatch (via Lancaster): Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan 13. Oklahoma City EF5s (via Singapore): Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan 14. Gotham Gashslayers: Josh Myers, C, Ohio State 15. Portland Horned Owls (via Williamsport): Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State 16. Berlin Blitzkrieg: Derion Kendrick, CB, Clemson Round 4 1. Seoul Dragons (via Portland): Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri 2. Portland Horned Owls (via Hungary): Mac Jones, QB, Alabama 3. Hungary Hippos (via Oklahoma City): Alex Leatherwood, OG, Alabama 4. Williamsport Soul Reavers (via Sacramento): Hamilcar Rashed Jr., EDGE, Oregon State 5. Williamsport Soul Reavers (via Seoul): Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State 6. Antarctica Katabatic Beasts: Trey Smith, OG, Tennessee 7. Camden Hood Rats: Christian Barmore, INT, Alabama 8. Rome Eternals: Cameron McGrone, LB, Michigan 9. Camden Hood Rats (via New Orleans): Najee Harris, RB, Alabama 10. Cuba Smugglers: Carlos Basham Jr., EDGE, Wake Forest 11. Ivory Coast Black Rhinos: Kyle Trask, QB, Florida 12. Williamsport Soul Reavers (via Lancaster): Darius Stills, INT, West Virginia 13. Singapore Sentinels: Patrick Jones II, EDGE, Pittsburgh 14. Singapore Sentinels (via Gotham): Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC 15. Oklahoma City EF5s (via Williamsport): Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State 16. Cuba Smugglers (via Berlin): Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis

  8. Do you know what is crazy? The game was 13-6 with 8 mins left in the 3rd and the Raiders at their own 30 yard line. 7 mins later, it's 20-6 at the end of the 3rd and they have broken the will of our Defense. For anyone who has a subscription to the Athletic - Ted Nguyen, an awesome writer, did his analysis of some plays from the game and it gave me great joy to see his analysis was similar to my own, albeit with far better terminology and graphics.

  9. He’s saying it to drive up his value. You don’t want to come out and say we are going to move on and expect to get something in return when the team is “practically” done with Jimmy services. At least that’s my take.

  10. A few plays like that. He needed to either drive the ball more or place it further so the receiver could keep running for it. He was fine tonight, but overall just a so-so performance. I've had a developing opinion on Kyler all season that's still holding true: Super fun to watch, talented in many facets of the game, but ultimately the jury is still out for me as far as him being a long-term high level answer at quarterback. Kinda like Lamar Jackson.

  21. I know that we like to joke about it, and it really doesn't matter in this situation, but in truth it's this reason why we should never be surprised by the fact that this team can't stay healthy. This front office has clearly shown that they don't much care about a players injury history so I'm not sure why people are shocked when guys then don't stay healthy. It's not just bad luck...we bring some of this on ourselves.

  22. Mock Draft 3.0 Threw this together last night while watching the NBA Draft, it really got me in the mood for some mocking. I wanted to get to three rounds with this where to see where I'm at as far as prospects go and definitely I started getting a little shaky towards the middle-end of the third. Gonna have to dig a little deeper into some positions. I wanted to write out rationales for all three rounds but I just don't have the time so I am more than happy to share my thought process on any of my pics if you're interested. Round 1 1. New York Jets: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson - The obvious choice. The Jets need a QB and Lawrence is one of the best to come along in a while. I know there's a lot of chatter about him going to back to school to avoid the Jets but I think that's just dumb media clickbait that they love to talk about. 2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State - I liked Minshew Mania but it's clear at this point that he is not the guy. Some think Fields shouldn't go this high and some think he should be challenging for QB1. I'm in neither camp but think he is solidly QB2 and deserves to go here. 3. Washington Football Team: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU - This pick basically comes down to if the Football Team likes Zach Wilson or not. If they think he can be a franchise QB, you have to take him. If not I think they likely go for a guy like Penei Sewell. I've read that Wilson has a lot of fans in the NFL so I think especially as the season goes on and he continues to play well he will solidify himself as a top draft pick. 4. Dallas Cowboys: Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon - To be entirely honest, Dallas would likely trade down here to a team like the Chargers or Bengals who want Penei Sewell. They could get a nice haul and then take one of the top CBs on the board. However, I'm not predicting trades and I think they would be foolish to pass on Sewell. Tyron Smith has been aging and injury prone and Sewell could be a nice replacement down the line. In the meantime slide him in at RT and move Collins inside. Now you've got a dominant OL again, which is what the Cowboys had when they were looking good. 5. Los Angeles Chargers: Patrick Surtain, CB, Alabama - I think this is a slight reach but unfortunately for LA, the top OL just went off the board a pick earlier and there are no other ones worth taking right here. That's fine though because they also need help at CB. I had some concerns about Surtain entering this year but he's looked good so far. He's not my personal CB1 but I think it's likely he'll go first because of his NFL bloodlines and being a Bama player. 6. Miami Dolphins (via Houston Texans) - Ja'Marr Chase, WR, LSU - The Dolphins have some good WRs but none are game changers the way that Chase is. You don't pass up on a talent like this for guys like Preston Williams and DeVante Parker. This is especially true when you have a young QB. Tua has looked good so getting him a WR of Chase's caliber would be great for his continued development. 7. Cincinnati Bengals: Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami - I strongly considered reaching slightly here for Wyatt Davis but I think there's actually some decent depth to this OL class so instead the Bengals can address another big need here. I will say that I think as we get to the offseason and the draft process starts, Rousseau is going to fall a bit. I think his tape last year was only so-so despite the production and he could've used another good year to really solidify his high placement in the draft. Not to mention Kwity Paye is lighting it the hell up, but more on him later. 8. New York Giants: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech - The Giants absolutely have to find someone to play opposite James Bradberry. They cut the guy they had starting at the beginning of the year after he was beat out by a guy they traded a 7th rounder for. Then that guy got beat out by someone else only to get the job back when that guy got injured. The CB musical chair needs to stop and they do that here by grabbing Farley, my personal CB1. 9. Carolina Panthers: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State - This is such a great fit from both the team and player perspective. The Panthers have played around with different players at the LB spot since Kuechley retired but none of them worked and they still have a hole at the position. Enter Parsons, an elite LB prospect who I think would go higher if not for positional concerns. The Panthers however need a LB badly and continue the youth movement on defense after going all defense last year. 10. Atlanta Falcons: Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan - Paye has been an absolute beast so far this year and is showing off his freakish combination of size and athleticism. The Falcons have whiffed on so many pass rushers over the year but have to continue at it until they find the guy. I really think Paye could finally be the one. He's got such a motor and is so powerful at the line of scrimmage. 11. Denver Broncos: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State - I was definitely a Lock believer coming into the season but he has certainly not looked the part. I guess it's back to Elway's endless search for a QB and they go for Lance here. Taking him at 11 is much more palatable than spending a top 5 pick on him as the tools are all there but it's going to take time for him to adjust. You can either roll with Lock for one more season (or more likely half a season) or sign a bridge QB while Lance rides the bench and learns. 12. San Francisco 49ers: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina - I really love this fit. The 49ers are desperately going to need CB help this offseason as I believe all (or at least almost all) of their current CBs are going to be free agents. Horn was having a great season before recently opting out and I think the 49ers will love his physicality and the way he just bullies WRs. 13: Detroit Lions: Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama - This is another great fit. Stafford is aging but he's still got arm strength to spare and having a true speed threat like Waddle would be awesome to see. The Lions need to give Stafford more to work with as it's a shame how they've wasted his career. 14. Minnesota Vikings: Wyatt Davis, OG, Ohio State - Wyatt Davis could go a bit earlier than this (I almost reached for him at 7 to the Bengals) so the Vikings are glad that he falls to them here. Ezra Cleveland has been playing well at OG for them but they could use an upgrade on the other side. Not to mention both of their OTs are free agents after next season and Cleveland will likely kick out to OT at that point. This pick helps them now but also gives them a solidified presence on the OL when the time comes where they need to shuffle it around. 15. New England Patriots: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama - DeVonta Smith is extremely good and I think could also go higher than his draft slot here. He does so many things so well and I think that's what Belichick will love about him. Their WR group right now is abysmal and needs an infusion of actual talent. 16. Chicago Bears: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame - The Bears don't have many needs but OL is definitely one of them. This draft doesn't have any top tier OT talents outside of Sewell but the second tier is deep and strong. Right now there is no consensus on the order of that second tier but I've personally got Eichenberg atop it. He'll fit in nicely on that OL and should help Foles/Trubisky (or whoever else may end up starting for the Bears 👀) 17. Cleveland Browns: Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah, LB, Notre Dame - The Browns need some help at all levels of the defense so they basically should just go BPA on defense. Here that is Owusu-Koromoah, who I think will continue to rise throughout the draft process. He is exactly the kind of athletic LB with coverage skills that teams are gravitating towards. 18. Tennessee Titans: Quincy Roche, EDGE, Miami - The Titans tried out Vic Beasley but that didn't work out. They've got Clowney but who knows if he'll re-sign next season or move on. The fact is that they need pass rush help. Roche looked good at Temple and has looked good for Miami this year as well even if his sack numbers aren't super high. 19. Philadelphia Eagles: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State - The Eagles just need help all over the back 7 on defense. Wade has had some issues as he transitions from the slot to working outside but he's also had some good flashes. I personally think long term he can work on the outside but even if he doesn't you know you've got a good slot CB. 20. Arizona Cardinals: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida - The Cardinals have a couple of bigger needs on defense but Pitts is such a steal here. I think Pitts could go as high as slipping into the top 10 so getting him down here is nice. Pitts would be so nice in that Arizona offense and just make them even more explosive. 21. New York Jets (via Seattle): Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota - What do you do when you take a franchise QB? You give him talent to work with. New York's receiving options have all had flashes this year but none of them have been consistent enough to pass on Bateman here. Bateman and Mims could develop into a big WR duo for Lawrence. 22. Miami Dolphins: Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas - I like Ossai a lot and think he'll wind up going in about this range. He'd be a nice fit for the Dolphins, who could use the pass rush help. Ossai is more versatile than that also as he has shown off some coverage ability with Texas this year. 23. Indianapolis Colts: Sam Cosmi, OT, Texas - Another Texas player comes off the board here. Castonzo has flirted with retirement and could be finally following through this offseason. In that case the Colts will need to find a replacement and land a potential one here in Cosmi. 24. Baltimore Ravens: Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma - The Ravens have tried a number of OL combinations this year partly due to injury and also partly due to iOL struggles. Humphrey comes in and can fill in any of those spots. 25. Jacksonville Jaguars: Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech - Much like with the Jets, the Jaguars are going to use their second first round pick to build around their new franchise QB. They go with protection here to help keep Fields on his feet. Darrisaw is a recent riser here and it's easy to see why. I've seen some inconsistencies on tape but he's a very good player and I think will continue developing into a good player. 26. Las Vegas Raiders: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon - Holland just feels like a great Raiders pick. He has really nice versatility in that he can play all over, at safety, in the box, at nickel. He's good both in coverage and as a run defender. Mayock and Gruden will like this guy. 27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jay Tufele, INT, USC - Tampa is in absolute win now mode. They're likely not going to be able to afford to bring back some of their defenders like Ndamukong Suh. Enter Tufele, who is I think the most pro ready INT guy in this draft. 28. Buffalo Bills: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia - Tre'Davious White is a great CB but the Bills have pretty much nothing across from him. They tried bringing in Josh Norman but he just looks pretty done. Campbell is a CB with all the tools you could ask for. 29: Green Bay Packers: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue - I know there are plenty of Packers fans who don't think the team will take a round 1 WR but they've gotta do something at the position. Moore is as explosive a playmaker as you'll find in this draft but has some injury concerns. 30. Kansas City Chiefs: Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG, USC - I really liked Vera-Tucker's tape from last season and thought he could be a late first round kind of guy based on his play at OG alone. This season he's been moved out to OT and has continued his high level of play. The Chiefs could use the interior help here for sure. 31. New Orleans Saints: Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia - The Saints are a team without many needs...for now. They're going to need to get much cheaper at many positions with their cap situation. One area where they could get some savings is at CB by cutting Janoris Jenkins. If they do that they can bring in Stokes to replace him. 32. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jaylen Mayfield, OT, Michigan - Mayfield is such a Steelers pick, it makes so much sense. Fills a need of course but Steelers love their Big 10 underclassmen with a mean streak. Round 2 1. New York Jets: Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State 2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jordan Davis, INT, Georgia 3. Dallas Cowboys: Paris Ford, S, Pittsburgh 4. Los Angeles Chargers: Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State 5. Miami Dolphins (via Houston): Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson 6. Washington Football Team: Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU 7. Cincinnati Bengals: Alex Leatherwood, OT/OG, Alabama 8. Carolina Panthers: Derion Kendrick, CB, Clemson 9. New York Giants: Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia 10. Denver Broncos: Dylan Moses, LB, Georgia 11. Atlanta Falcons: Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State 12. San Francisco 49ers: Josh Myers, C, Ohio State 13. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Minnesota): Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami 14. New England Patriots: Chazz Surratt, LB, North Carolina 15. Detroit Lions: Carlos Basham Jr., EDGE, Wake Forest 16. Chicago Bears: Kyle Trask, QB, Florida 17. Tennessee Titans: Elijah Molden, CB, Washington 18. Cleveland Browns: Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan 19. Philadelphia Eagles: Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri 20. Seattle Seahawks: Patrick Jones II, EDGE, Pittsburgh 21. Miami Dolphins: Cameron McGrone, LB, Michigan 22. Indianapolis Colts: Mac Jones, QB, Alabama 23. Baltimore Ravens: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State 24. Arizona Cardinals: Hamilcar Rashed Jr., EDGE, Oregon State 25. Las Vegas Raiders: Marvin Wilson, INT, Florida State 26. Los Angeles Rams: Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State 27. Buffalo Bills: Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota 28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern 29. Green Bay Packers: Jaylen Twyman, INT, Pittsburgh 30. Kansas City Chiefs: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford 31. New Orleans Saints: Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC 32. Pittsburgh Steelers: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama Round 3 1. New York Jets: Joe Tryon, EDGE, Washington 2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU 3. Los Angeles Chargers: Trey Smith, OG, Tennessee 4. Houston Texans: Victor Dimukeje, EDGE, Duke 5. Washington Football Team: Jackson Carman, OT, Clemson 6. Dallas Cowboys: T.J. Carter, CB, Memphis 7. Cincinnati Bengals: Walker Little, OT, Stanford 8. New York Giants: Ben Cleveland, OG, Georgia 9. Carolina Panthers: Hunter Long, TE, Boston College 10. Atlanta Falcons: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State 11. Denver Broncos: Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington State 12. Washington Football Team (via San Francisco): Richard LeCounte III, S, Georgia 13. New England Patriots: Forfeited 14. Detroit Lions: Christian Barmore, INT, Alabama 15. Minnesota Vikings: Darius Stills, INT, West Virginia 16. Chicago Bears: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn 17. Cleveland Browns: Kary Vincent Jr., CB, LSU 18. Tennesee Titans: Tyler Shelvin, INT, LSU 19. 23. So sorry to hear this, but I'm glad you shared it. Hang in there and best wishes to both of you We lost a family member in WI on Monday. She experienced what you've shared - overwhelmed hospital, shortages of meds, lack of rooms/beds. And now the husband who lost his wife can't find a funeral home to handle her burial - so her body is in a refrigerated truck. Just brutal for everybody involved Its time to re-double our efforts folks

  24. 1. Sacramento (from Portland)- Trevor Lawrence QB Clemson No change here. 2. WSR (from OKC)- Penei Sewell OT Oregon With no threat of Sacramento to take a QB at 3 WSR can pick between their top non QB pick here. Sewell, Chase, Parsons could all get looks but ultimately Sewell is likely a generational talent and gives WSR a LT/RT for ten years. 3. Sacramento- Micah Parsons LB PSU Parsons is a versatile defender that can allow me to utilize him in various ways in gameplan scheming and if I take away anything from the league this year it is have players that can do multiple things because injuries are a nasty mutha. 4. WSR (from Hungary)- Justin Fields QB OSU WSR gets their QB. Fields has displayed incredible accuracy and decision making and WSR gets their LT and QB of the future in the first four picks. 5. Seoul- Ja’Marr Chase WR LSU Seoul traded Sutton and they grab Chase here to give Kyler his number one receiver. 6. Antarctica- Kyle Pitts TE UF What a receiving corps and then you add Pitts at TE? Yikes. No Oline is worth this pick with Sewell being off the board, so they add the explosive weapon to better their offense. 7. Sacramento (from Camden) Jaylen Waddle WR Bama I add another Alabama speedster to my WR corps for the second year in a row. I believe he will come back healthy from his ankle injury and he gives my offense a dynamic playmaker for my QBs to utilize. 8. Rome- Kwity Paye Edge UM Paye didn’t play this past week but he has been a terror before this week with 25 pressures in 3 games played. He has great size and athleticism and he really displays an all around game for a 4-3 end. 9. Sacramento (from NOLA)- Patrick Surtain ll CB Bama I go back to the Bama well and add Patrick Surtain at CB. I have a solid group of corners despite what the critics think. Bryce Callahan has been a stud and I will likely 3 up him. Darious Williams has made 4 incredible interceptions and is really playing solid. Ceedy Duce is a solid player at nickel. Donte Jackson and CJ Henderson have great potential and Chidobe has been hurt this year but has shown potential as well and could be a possible 3 up. However in this league you need as many solid corners as you can and Surtain is good value here. 10. IC- Caleb Farley CB VT IC goes corner here with the very talented Farley. He has size and ball skills to match great athleticism. 11. Singapore- Gregory Rousseau Edge Miami They added Fletcher Cox to pair with Donald and now they add Rousseau who had 15.5 sacks as a redshirt freshman. He will help them with an edge presence and keep building on their dominant dline. 12. Cuba- Jaycee Horn CB SCAR Horn is a riser and gives Cuba a big corner with excellent coverage skills to improve their secondary. 13. Camden (from Lancaster)- Devonta Smith WR Bama Camden grabs Smith here to pair with Brown and Kupp after trading Hopkins and give them a player who can step in and run veteran routes and hit the grown running. 14. WSR- Rashod Bateman WR MIN WSR adds a well rounded receiver who can do it all to their corps. They continue to build their offense with impressive building blocks after going almost entirely defensive in last years draft. 15. Seoul (from Berlin)- Dylan Moses LB Bama Seoul adds Moses to bring an athletic heat seeking defensive presence to pair with Isaiah Simmons on their defense. 16. Gotham- Zach Wilson QB BYU Gotham grabs their QB of the future with the rising Wilson.

  25. Well, were almost 2/3 through the regular season, and just because this team is good now doesnt mean Im going to stop looking forward to the offseason. Now, Im not going to jump into full Free Agency, and Im definitely not ready for the end of the 2nd round of the draft at this point, but there has already been talk about what we need and who we might lose, so Im just using this as an outlook to what is ahead. And hopefully this is useful to all you mock drafters when we do make it to the offseason. I will update this when information changes, but this is all where we stand before Thanksgiving. And Im mostly sticking to factual information, so we can talk freely about needs as those are more subjective. Salary Cap The biggest elephant in the room is what will the salary Cap be? Well by the time we get to most of the offseason mocks there will be more clarity here, but for now, many will see/use that $175m number. Lets actually address that right now, I have massive doubts that the Cap will fall that low. The $175m number is the absolute floor of what the Cap will be, not an already negotiated number. So now that the baseline is established, lets talk about what teams were expecting for 2021 before Covid. Most were expecting the Cap to make a significant jump, some even thought as high as $215m (and the little secret here is that this is a lagging number). So if if you take out the Cap growth, even a flat Cap would be a reduction in somewhere between $5-$17m to what was expected, so lets just meet in the middle and call it a non-covid cap of $208m, and a reduction of $10m already. So the other part here i that if they would drop to $175, nearly 1/3 of the league would already be over the cap. The owners/GMs just arent going to let that happen, especially as so many marquee and contending teams would be in such trouble. So with all that said, another belief out there is a $190m cap for 2021, which seems more realistic, but that would still leave a few major contenders over the cap, and a few more right up against it. So personally, I think to appease all sides, we will end up with a flat Cap for 2021, and likely flat again for 2022 (maybe even 2023) to spread it out over a few seasons. But to be fair, for this exercise, we will meet in the middle with a $195m Salary Cap for 2021. So where does that leave the Rams? Well assuming the $195m, adding in the $8.3m of Cap rollover from 2021, we are looking at a Total Salary Cap of $203.3m. But we are currently looking at $192m in active roster contracts, PLUS the $8.6m in dead money (mostly Gurley) and we are suddenly sitting at only about $2.5m in cap space... Not that great, but there are a few moves to make. Unfortunately now, there is a most obvious move after the the injury from this past week, but we will explore all of them; Andrew Whitworth - 2 years $23.33m remaining Whits 2021 Roster Bonus ($2.5m) is already guaranteed Has a total of $3.33m of his Signing Bonus remaining IF he were to be cut, it would save us $5.33m in 2021 it would also save $12.166m in 2022 This obviously depends on the severity of his injury. Its not an ACL, so its probably not Career ending. While Ive heard many talk about maybe being back by the playoffs this year, that would be great! But that PCL injury is just as scary as an ACL for a big man. If we think he can still contribute in 2021, we might not make the move, because cutting and resigning him wouldnt end up saving us all that much ($2-3m?), but maybe this is a restructure of his base salary, with some games played/started incentives? Especially if he doesnt come back this season, and has to prove that he can still play at a high level. Michael Brockers - 2 years $14m remaining Brockers 2021 Roster Bonus ($1.5m) is already guaranteed Has a total of $2.66m of his Signing Bonus remaining IF he were to be cut, it would save us $5.33m in 2021 it would also save $10.8m in 2022 Personally I dont see them moving on from Brockers already, but Im being fair, and giving you all the facts, because I assume most of you will use this chance to cut him in your mocks. And to be completely transparent Im not exactly sure of the future ramifications of Robinsons deal after we made the changes for this year. But as far as I can tell, we wouldnt save anything in 2021 by cutting him (might even cost us) so Brockers would be the move if we were going to do so on the DL. Rob Havenstien - 2 years $14m remaining Rob a total of $1.6m of his Signing Bonus remaining Also has a total of $1.56m of his Restructure Bonus remaining IF he were to be cut, it would save us $5.17m in 2021 it would also save $8.83m in 2022 I wasnt ever thinking about cutting Rob, but the thought of trading him away from a pick or player (like a Rusher) was very appealing as I started this. But now with the Whit injury, Im much less excited about the idea. So unless Noteboom comes out these next 7-10 games and looks like a bookend Tackle, and we think Whit could be a good RT when returning next year, then I think we will be hanging onto Rob for atleast 1 more season. But I do think he is a future Trade Candidate at some point to re-coup some draft capital. Tyler Higbee - 3 years $20.8m remaining Higbees 2021 Roster Bonus ($3m) is already guaranteed Has a total of $1.8m of his Signing Bonus remaining IF he were to be cut, it would save us $2.3m in 2021 it would also save $6.85 m in 2022 & 2023 Sure he's been underwhelming this year, but that feels mostly to do with splitting the targets with Everett. Speaking of, GE will be a free agent (which we will get to in a bit) and I doubt we move on from both TEs in one offseason, especially to save such little money. Now as we look to the 2022 offseason, Higbee will be a prime candidate to move on from (over $5m in savings) if he doesnt take the Ram by the horns as the main TE. But he is still an option, or could even restructure if we needed a bit of room Johnny Hekker - 3 years $14.4m remaining Hekker has a total of $495k of his Signing Bonus remaining Has a total of $1.8m of his Restructure Bonus remaining IF he were to be cut, it would save us $2.6m in 2021 it would also save $4.7m in 2022 & 2023 I mean theres just no way we get rid of the best weapon in the league. But he does have alot of base salary left in his deal that could be converted to Signing Bonus, which Im sure he would welcome, as it would guarantee more dollars, tying him to the team for more years, and he has shown before that he is willing to. I mentioned with a few of these players could potentially be restructure candidates, and honestly pretty much anyone with a 2nd contract could do that, but there are 2 major ones to call out. They are pretty obvious, but Aaron Donald could be a pretty easy restructure this year if we had an impact player to grab. At minimum we could take his $8m signing bonus hit for 2021, and spread it out over the next 4 years, finding an additional $6m in Cap room for 2021. He would probably like it as well, as a restructure also starts to add guaranteed dollars to the final 2 years of his deal. Obviously just like this year, we can always move money around with Goff, as he is likely here for the next 3 years no matter what. And if were really in a pinch, we can always start shifting money with the Ramsey, Woods, or Kupp new deals. Although, Id be hesitant to jump into that money movement with Ramsey, as who knows when that time bomb will go off. So Im projecting a bunch of restructures, not necessarily cuts to this roster. If we rework Whit, Hekker, Donald and Goff, that can get us around an extra $15m+ on the cap, for a total of about $18m. We will really be tightroping for 2021. Free Agents I will list all of the upcoming Free Agents, and give my quick thoughts on each, but as you can tell, with minimal Cap Space, its going to be difficult to hang onto many of these guys Leonard Floyd - He's been a fun addition to the defense, but I dont see how we make any other moves if we try to keep him. As hot and cold as Floyd runs, I cant agree with giving him a long term deal. Let someone else commit those long term dollars to him and collect the pick in the '22 draft (likely to be a 4th, probably wont get the same AAV as Fowler did, since there are better caliber Edge guys on the market) John Johnson III - We all know that this defense doesnt need to spend big money on Safeties, and many of us are taking that Social Media post earlier in the season as a sign that the negotiations have broken down. With the young talent we have already amassed in the secondary and more impactful players needing the Cap allocation, time to let him walk and collect the pick again (Id predict a 4th as well here, but Im not as confident, there are alot of good Safeties coming up on FA, depends on how many stay with their current teams) Troy Hill - While he really started to emerge in the second half of last year, he hasnt made the big jump this season. He is still a solid Corner, but he has for sure been surpassed by DWill (who we will get to in a min) on this defense. In a normal offseason, I would like to keep more of the secondary together, but in this crunch Hill probably gets #2 CB money elsewhere. Not sure if its enough to get us a Comp Pick, if anything it wouldnt be more than a 6th, but at the very least he could be a nice offset contract for anyone we need to add. Darious Williams (RFA) - Guy has been a baller this year, and we need to keep him around. Maybe that comes with actually giving him a long term contract already, since the RFA tender is going to cost us $3-$4 in 2021. Not sure we could get all that much of a break, but if you could knock even $2m off that Cap number and have it grow in the following few years, it could be very helpful. Morgan Fox - Hes been a nice little rotational uy, nothing special, but has started to show up this year more than any other time in his career. Wouldnt make him any more than a minimum offer, but wouldnt be a bad option to keep around for depth. Although this could obviously a spot to replace with a rookie deal and save alittle bit of money, but not that much in the end. Samson Ebukam - Next! Im sure thats how everyone here feels. Hes just not lived up to even the lowest of expectations, and will likely be fighting to be a special teamer/backup elsewhere. Wont even help out in the Comp formula for us. Josh Reynolds - The guy has talent, but hes just never broken out. Someone will fall in love with those measurables all over again and likely over pay him (not that we could even give him fair market value) but he is definitely on the way out. Unfortunately there are quite a few talented WRs scheduled to be on the market, so lets hope some of those guys return to their teams, and Reynolds gets a big deal from some team who missed out on the top guys. Definitely should get us a Comp pick, a 4th would be great, but unlikely. Temper the expectations and lets hope for a 5th here. Malcolm Brown - I am appreciative of what he brings to us, but that is just a limited skill set. And now that we have 2 dynamic young runners, theres just no place for him. Although Im sure he will latch on somewhere, especially with all the messy backfields around the league. But his earning potential (and therefore his Comp pick impact) is as limited as his skillset. I would just about guarantee that he wont get us a pick, but it would be nice for him to get a few Mill in AAV to help us offset a solid pickup for us somewhere else on the roster. Gerald Everett - Ive been advocating to move on from GE for a year now. Not because he isnt good, but because we decided to pay Higbee and we are muddling up the TE situation. While Higbee might be disappointing this year, we cant really get out of that contract till next year. Plus its not like Everett is lighting the world on fire either, he is just as infuriating as Higbee, because his talent should make him such a better weapon. So while the jewel of TE free agency is Hunter Henry (and who knows if he gets away from the Chargers) Everett and Jonu Smith are the best options out there under 30. I think GE could net us a Comp pick, it just wont be a very high one. Im hoping for a 6th rounder at this point. Johnny Mundt (RFA) - A decent 3rd TE, but nothing more, and in no way is he worth a tender. If no one else picks him up, then Id welcome him back on the minimum, but hes really just a blocker, and not a weapon. Which is what Im expecting them to push Brycen Hopkins into the 2nd TE weapon role next year, and hopefully taking over the top spot in 2022 when we can cut Higbee. Austin Blythe - Here is the hardest decision I think we have as a franchise in the 2021 offseason. While we got the 1 year deal last year, thats unlikely to happen again, as he has solidified the OL, and has continued to grade out at a high level. Especially if we are up in the air with what we can get out of Whit and/or if Noteboom disappoints, then keeping Blythe becomes even more crucial. Do we think Corbett can handle the Center spot? If Noteboom is solid at LT, and Whit could slide to Guard, maybe thats an option, but that is quite the risk. If he were to go, hes likely getting us some Comp capital, probably a 6th. But the better this line looks, the more I lean toward us needing to keep him. Jake McQuaide - He has been so solid for us for so long. But if we can walk away from Greg, we can definitely walk away from a Long Snapper. If for some reason he is OK with the same exact contract he currently has, then maybe bring him back? But its more likely we Priority UDFA a college guy to take over. 2021 NFL Draft Round1 - Traded to JAX (Jalen Ramsey) Round 2 - Own our Pick Round 3 - Own our Pick + Projected Comp (for Dante Fowler) Round 4 - Traded to JAX + Projected Comp (for Cory Littleton) Round 5 - Traded to CLE (Austin Corbett) Round 6 - Own our Pick Round 7 - Own our Pick Just to Recap thats; 2nd + 3rd + 3rd (Comp) + 4th (Comp) + 6th + 7th Budget between $4.5 - $5m for Rookie Salaries

  26. The Eagles invade the North Coast on Sunday, and while the wind should be a tad bit more calm, the weather gods might just have shone down upon us again with a 60% chance of rain Fortunately we're built for running in the rain. It's time for us to whip out our weiners (see above) and start Lets be honest with each other. We're all here for "Hunt'n Chubb". The Eagles are a talented club, but they most certainly are beatable. Great pass rush, which makes our ability to run the football and implement our play action passing attack is paramount. Hey Covid, get off our az$ez and let us compete on a level playing field. By the way, if you didn't get the George Thorogood references in the title of the thread, you're a young whippersnapper.

  27. One constant I've noticed outside the Raider forum, there is a lot more activity when the team sucks. People like to argue why they suck and how to fix it. Argue coaching, QBs, etc. When teams are playing well consistently, the discussion tends to drop off.

  29. some 3rd quarter notes - 3rd and 7, Raiders ball from their 25. Perfect throw and catch by Carr to Aghalor to convert. It's a simple comeback just passed the sticks. Bryce is all over it, but a veteran (slight) push off and perfect outside throw get the completion. No time for a rush to affect the play - This is the literal arm tackle by Callahan. Chubb gets washed by the TE double team, but contain is on Callahan, not Chubb. It's poor from Bryce and Jackson. D Williams does a great job to split the double team, Jewell fills at exactly the right time and both force Jacobs to bounce it. Fair play to Jacobs, but it's very poor Defense. This should have been a 1 yard run at very best - The dropped Waller (likely) TD is a mental break down by someone, but is hard to know who. It looks like a variation of a Cover 2, so if that is the case, it would be Jackson at fault because he shouldn't carry the post route. Either way, Bryce has to carry the Waller route for a lot longer than he does. Big time let off for us. We are in our base 3-4, we drop Reed and rush 4. Just no rush at all. Chubb is actually at LOLB over the RT, and gets a half decent push, but S Williams, D Williams and Jones are ineffective - Good run fits across the board to stop the run for 2 on 2nd and 10 - Another total brain fart on 3rd down. Again, I don't know for sure what the call is. Duke Dawson is playing Waller like he has close help over the top, but Simmons is playing the half rather than bracketing Waller like Dawson is expecting. Dawson appears to just be in no mans land, not really accomplishing anything. I am guessing he was supposed to play tight, trail technique at least and he clearly isn't doing that. It's a shame, because we put Chubb in that 'roam' role again, and once again he chooses Jackson as the man he wants to rush. Chubb beats Jackson to the outside and gets his hands on Carr, but Waller is too open too quick for Chubb to get the sack - This is a rather weird play. Because we are in our base 3-4, Chubb has to split out with Waller but he's always going into the backfield. He times the count well to get a beat on Waller, and then I have no idea what the FB is doing; he just lets Chubb go straight by him into Jacobs. Like the aggression by Chubb. I think the Raiders thought their alignment would give a lot less box defenders than there were - Finally some pass rush. Attaochu and Jones get the Raiders on a T / E stunt, and both comee through clean on Carr as both the RG (Jackson) and RT (Smith) totally misread the stunt. Carr had identified the right route to beat our zone coverage too, but the throw is off target and Carr is fading back due to the clean pressure - We are playing much more zone coverage this half. 3rd and 15, Carr has nowhere to go so he checks it down for a 2 yard gain. Somehow, the LT isnt called for holding on Chubb after he wins quickly inside. You can see Chubb gesture to the back judge that he's expecting a hold. I love the play by the Center (Hudson) in this play though. That's called looking for work and he actually blocks both Walker and Chubb by doing so - Look at the mess on our 1st offensive snap of the half. It's a zone run to the right. Hankins is aligned as a 1 tech (NT), so Glasgow should hold his movement to the right until Cush has got play side of Hankins, at which point Glasgow should peel to the 2nd level. Instead, Glasgow takes a big step to the right and just sticks his arm out. That isn't good enough. Sure, Cush has got to show more athleticism to get playside (i.e to the right) of Hankins, and it's an excellent read by Hankins to get 'north' vs the zone run. But Glasgow has to do more to help his teammate. the angle of Crosby isn't a problem at all if Hankins doesn't get that penetration. I would actually say it's a bad angle by Crosby in a run play. What is frustrating about this is that it's a really good front to run against and it's a good call. We have 3 blockers for the 3 Raiders who are playside of the formation; we just make a hash of it - This is poor from Drew. He's just not processing quick enough. It looks like his 1st read is Jeudy on the go route. He can see his checkdown (Gordon) in his eyeline in a ton of space. Just give him the ball ...... Get some of your yardage back from the TFL the previous play. Instead, he's late across the middle vs zone coverage, and he gets his WR smacked. Great set for both Anderson (vs Crosby) and Bolles (vs Ferrell) in an obvious passing situation - 3rd and 13, obviously not a great spot to be in. Raiders go man coverage on the outside, deep zone from Abram and Kwiatoski and they send the other LB on a 5 man blitz. Nassib beats Anderson with that long, lunging single arm shove that Chubb does so often. The blitz also leaves Gordon on a DT (Collins). Gordon does well, but eventually Collins is going to win and both pressures get Drew nervous and he escapes the pocket. I still think he could have waited longer, but it's easy to say that on all 22. Incomplete, punt

  36. I thought you judged based off of eye test and talent? Now it’s wins? Stay consistent. Strawman, if I’ve ever seen one. I am open to the idea of the Bengals sucking as an organization and negatively effecting Burrow’s career as a result. You however already have a built in excuse that if that’s the case, “they did it years ago under a different coaching regime with an almost completely different roster - no reason Burrow can’t!!!” That doesn’t mean if Burrow fails = it’s the Bengals’ fault automatically (that’s the terrible argument that you’re pretending I’m saying). But it’s possible that it will be. Possibly the funniest and most embarrassing part of all this is how much you’ve stroked Allen while blaming some of his perceived shortcomings (such as leading a mediocre offense) on the team around him, but now if the world renowned Cincinnati Bengals aren’t perennial playoff contenders then it only confirms how average Burrow is, how he’s holding back a loaded offense (allegedly), how the Bengals organization has built playoff teams before, etc. The Gold medal for mental gymnastics goes to...

  46. I hear what you are saying, but Gase actually failed as a head coach just before we hired him. It was not a blind faith decision. He was over his head in Miami and the most mediocre of head coaches, and yet we decided he was our guy. It was a brutal decision way back then, too. Not just revisionist history. Bieniemy is an unknown, but he is currently working with the best QB in football and under one of the best head coaches. That is what you want. Somebody is going to give him a HC shot, why not us? Was anybody else going to give Gase another quick HC opportunity after Miami? I doubt it. And if we are looking for a coordinator who is a "head coach type", I don't think there is a better candidate than Robert Salah. That 49ers defense is awesome, even without Pro Bowl talent this year. I am not against Harbaugh, but what is it about him that makes everybody here believe he is going to turn our fortunes around? Is there a connection between Harbaugh and the Jets? I mean, aside from Rich Eisen, of course.
