  1. Wentz would still screw up a Metcalf/Jefferson WR duo.

  2. Does not mean a thing and does not preclude him from being "an all time great" "an all time great"....there are more than one all time greats, and they can come from the same team. Terrell Owens was not the best receiver the 49ers ever had. He's an all time great. Steve Young is not even the best QB the 49ers ever had, still an all time great. Michael Strahan is not the best pass rusher the giants have ever had, he's an all time great.

  4. The rift is not Justin Jefferson, it is losing. When you are losing like the Eagles are, where there is plenty of blame to pass around in multiple areas, you start questioning everything, including things like this. Bottom line is that it is way too early to make a judgement on whether Reagor is a bust or Jefferson was the better pick. In year one, absolutely Jefferson is playing way better than Reagor. But we've seen tides shift before on matters like this, and who knows what the future holds for both of these guys. This conversation is just a side effect of the Eagles losing.

  5. Me like 5 weeks ago: "Patrick Queen is NOT that bad!" Me, today: "Yeah, being the lowest graded ILB sounds about right"

  6. You could do a lot worse. I'm sure your immediate response to that would be: "We could do a lot better." My response to that: We'll see.

  7. The best TE Kansas City has ever had was far and away the most prolific ever to play the position. Maybe not the fairest bar to set.

  8. Cousins, Tannehill, and Stafford are all 32. Derek Carr is 29. Just FYI. Carr still has a good 5-6 years left at least, those three players may retire in the next 3-4 years (if we go with them all retiring between 35-36 which is typical). Kind of matters. We still have plenty of time to develop a better defense and team in general around DC while we continue to push towards the playoffs. Frankie's question should be answered. I wonder how Herbert will fair if he ever has to play without his two upper-tier WRs he has on the outside. Watson without a defense can't win games. What

  10. To be more accurate, when you look at the efficiency he's 25th in completion percentage 9th in touchdown percentage 19th in interception percentage 23rd in yards per attempt 20th in adjusted ypa 23rd in yards per completion 15th in passer rating 20th in net yards gained per attempt 16th in adjusted yards per attempt The reason he is so high in volume stats is because he has thrown for 474 attempts, which is 43 more attempts than the guy at #2 (Roethlisberger).

  11. I’ll take three drops over three games when he does what he did to Rock Ya Sin and turn small ball into big play ball to boost up Tannehill’s stats.

  13. The NFL is a specialized job. If there were only 1700 doctors in the country, one doctor who was good enough to be one of them wouldn't be shunned forever because he failed some drug tests. I'm rooting for Gordon, it'd be awesome to see him finally stick around and be productive.

  14. Spot on and very accurate. We have seen this at times all this season and last. He did it on punts early and on some other passes in games as well. Great talent, but has to secure the catch first. No one from the Steelers will openly admit this (At least not right now during the season), but this is spot on. Teams are used to routine. Well run organizations have a schedule and manage that to the letter. Finding out Wednesday, you aren't playing Thursday was one hit, but then finding out Saturday you are not playing Sunday, and then on Monday you're not playing Tuesday. It throws you ou

  15. Imagine telling someone that a Mike Zimmer-coached team would have a top RB, two top WRs, and a QB producing at a high level, and yet have a losing record and probably miss out on the playoffs lol

  19. We’ve been playing inspired football all year. We just suck at football. The players have been playing hard though. Don’t expect players just going through the motions. Not having Jacobs could be a benefit for the Raiders. Teams really should just pass against us. The Chargers tried a balanced attack and it nearly cost them the game. The Jets can stop the run. Our pass defense is awful though. Just have Carr drop back 50 times and it’s game over. Although I suppose you lose the receiving threat out of the backfield. But still...just have Carr throwing bombs like Herbert did. We cannot sto

  24. Sullivan, Lazard, Tonyan are RFA/ERFAs, no reason to give them money in a Covid year, they'll all be back on 1 year deals. You're going to need to cut Kirksey, Wagner and maybe Preston to make all that happen.

  25. Well, were almost 2/3 through the regular season, and just because this team is good now doesnt mean Im going to stop looking forward to the offseason. Now, Im not going to jump into full Free Agency, and Im definitely not ready for the end of the 2nd round of the draft at this point, but there has already been talk about what we need and who we might lose, so Im just using this as an outlook to what is ahead. And hopefully this is useful to all you mock drafters when we do make it to the offseason. I will update this when information changes, but this is all where we stand before Thanksgiving

  26. Really only started digging into this 2021 class, but it's shaping up to be a pretty cut and dry class. The only one I'm really having issues solving is the Fields vs. Wilson discussion. I was lukewarm the first time watching Zach Wilson, but the more I watch him the more I'm a believer. Early QB Rankings 1.) Trevor Lawrence [QB; Clemson] 2a.) Justin Fields [QB; Ohio State] 2b.) Zach Wilson [QB; BYU] 4a.) Trey Lance [QB; North Dakota State] 4b.) Desmond Ridder [QB; Cincinnati] 6.) Kyle Trask [QB; Florida] 7.) Mac Jones [QB; Alabama] That's really the only draftable gu

  27. It’s definitely a thing. Less this year than last, but it’s still not a plus. It’s not a *bad* arm, but I think it’s a notch down from Wilson, who I think is a notch down from Lawrence, Fields, and Lance. It’s enough arm for the NFL — but you’re talking about taking a guy in the top 10, pinning the future of your franchise on him, and he’s a pure pocket passer with almost no mobility and an “enough” arm. As I said earlier in this thread, I think, look at the young QBs who are having success at the moment — how many of them are lacking both mobility and a really strong arm? Agai

  28. Verrett very well may end up being the cheaper option but I say agin, you cannot trust him to be available for 16 games. So it forces you to go out and get a competent back-up who has the ability to start multiple games. Not that Sherman has been the picture of health himself and he is older. But with Verrett, you basically have to sign two bodies for one spot so in the end he may not be that much cheaper.

  30. The funny thing is all of my mistakes that I’ve second guessed Ruskie benefitted from. I traded up for Haskins or Devin White. White was higher on my board and I was surprised he was there at 8. But I liked Haskins as my top QB and needed one so I made that pick smfh. Then I took Christian Miller because I needed an edge instead of the other player I was considering Terry McLaurin. Then this year I took Tyler Johnson instead of Chase Claypool who I was worried was going to get moved to TE. All of my failures that were so close to being successes have been Ruskies benefit lmao

  31. As I'm forced to watch a lot of Titans games and have Brown in fantasy, I know he has missed a fair number more than that. Very surprised anyone has it as only 3. Only been like the last few weeks though, so its been attributed to a minor slump. None of yall get to brag about how bad your drafting has been until you get to my level.

  41. Yes. I've watched every game. I didn't say he's a terrible player. I said he's dropping too many passes. He makes some great plays too. I just think the drops need cleaned up.

  42. I mean, he is what he is, right? Dependable, the definition of mediocrity, will get you what’s blocked and not much more, best ability is availability. I don’t know that they had to pay someone $1.5M for that, but the signing does look a lot better now that we know Guice was arrested, Love is still crippled, and Gibson was ready early enough to make Peterson expendable. I’ll be more than a little disappointed if they can’t replace him by next season with someone a little younger, cheaper, and more talented. And I’ll be a little upset if they give him important short yardage carries

  43. I didn't. I was perfectly happy to discuss Tom Brady's skill at quarterback and how his stint in Tampa Bay is proving he's not god-like at all things. It was others that, of course, had to bring up his titles and accolades and MVP's.
