  1. Get em Martellus. I follow the NFL because it's a pattern I've been in for 40 years, but I'm not always proud of myself for it. I think anyone who doesn't at least see or admit the really disturbing flaws in it needs to reexamine their heads.

  4. I am still working to come to terms with the trade. But I don't think I'll quit rooting for the Rams. I will however root for the Lions if they keep Goff. I did the same with Warner after the Rams let him go. This mock assumes the salary cap will be set around $185 million, give or take $5 million. I am hopeful the NFL will just freeze the cap instead of dropping it and spread losses into future years, but that might be too rational for the league to do. There are reports that some veterans are interested in ring chasing with the Rams and Stafford. I took that into account in this mock. I am a

  7. What also comes across as crap is the trashing our fan base that’s happened everywhere since 2009. The Jaguars fan base finally has something to gloat over and to make comments that match the trash talk they’ve received for over a decade. We have no fans, we’re moving to London, blah, blah, blah. Doesn’t matter, we have a transcendent QB coming and we care about that far more than all the chirping and trash talk we’ve heard. Sorry our reaction to our new found fortunes bothers you, but we’ve been dealing with far worse for far longer and we’re taking this opportunity to release some pent

  8. I'd be ok doing it the same way the NFL does. Yes, Jacksonville could claim every player they wanted but that's how it works in real life. Much simpler to administer.

I'm serving up sausage, bacon and egg tacos with creamy salsa verde, homemade pico de gallo with fresh habenero peppers: Coffee is available, but for those who want an extra jolt for your cup of joe, I introduce to you: Peanut butter whiskey! A shot of this stuff will keep you really warm on such a cold weekend. Eat, drink! Friends and strangers alike! There's enough for everyone!

  11. Good research there. My biggest objection to this is that yes, the bylaws state that on field achievements are the sole criteria, but the people still have to be voted in. The voters will always consider character subconsciously or otherwise when casting. Going back to TO, he should have been a first ballet inductee with out question, yet he waited 5 years to get in... The bylaws seem more like guidelines to me.

  14. Agree. Replacing Saleh along with alot of pieces in the defensive secondary. Big question marks@QB & LT as it stands. Influx along the interior O-Line and one of our most important players coming off a significant knee injury. Its very early in the off-season but this team has more questions than answers at this point.

  17. Alright so this is what I've decided to do based on input from you guys and what I think would not overly complicated things. You put a claim in and whether or not you are awarded the player or not, it still counts as a claim. Each claim you enter in drops you 32 spots. I will hide the columns G,H and M thru P in the Waiver Wire Order sheet. I'm also deleting all of the team sheets that I created earlier. I'll also hide column S & T in the waiver wire results sheet to make this a blind claim process. You'll be able to view you claims as you enter them in the form in t

  21. But he doesn't have Josh Rosen vibes about him, there's more proof that the stories are BS rather than true. The kid was in fact a captain and his team mate took the time out to go to bat for him, his coach made a big post about how the spoiled rich kid narrative was total BS and was more than likely a tactic used by an NFL exec to get him to fall to their pick. The kid drove 10 hours multiple times over the summer to train with an elite QB coach. All signs point to him being a great leader, who's team mate and coaches respect and like him, who's completely invested in football and strives to

  22. Unreal how quickly things change in the NFL. Goff led the Rams to the Super Bowl in 2019 and got traded. Jimmy G led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2020 and is likely getting cut or traded. Wentz had an MVP like season in 2017 before he got hurt while the Eagles won the Super Bowl and he's likely getting traded.

  28. Players that are cut and then claimed on waivers, the claiming team inherits the previous contract as well. Players with 4 or more years go right to UFA https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ganggreennation.com/platform/amp/2020/9/6/21424990/how-nfl-waivers-work

  33. Yes, I believe that is the process. Though not all released players go to waivers. Depending on years in the league, they could go directly to UFA

  34. A little bit of both. Maurkice has had two knee injuries and could be closing in on some much worse issues. Mike has had hip problems the last few seasons and might be in for a hip replacement a few years post retirement. So I think they knew it would be coming so they rather go out when they can rather than being forced out.

  38. Rodgers outplayed Brady......and lost. Pretty common theme. Don't be mad at Rodgers, be mad at the team for building it that way. The "Rodgers has to play like Superman and score 40 or we lose" template is old and tired. No one is screaming at Brady for playing like sh*t. Stop drafting role players and backups and putting it all on Rodgers shoulders.

  39. I don't think Watt is an option, as much as I'd like him to be. He is going to go fast, and the Giants need to dedicate all their resources to locking up Leonard Williams now before Watt signs elsewhere. Watt signing will absolutely drive up Leo's asking price, because Watt is about to sign for a lot.

  40. While that is funny, it was actually a much classier move by the Texans to release him and let him control his own destiny. Its easy to hate on the Texans right now due to all of the stupid moves and decisions they have made, but they did right by JJ by just releasing him. as opposed to perhaps trading him to a team he didnt want to go to. JJ gave that team many special years, and its nice they did this for him.

  42. Rodgers takes up almost double the salary cap of the next highest player. He deserves the most criticism. Now the NFCCG wasn't his fault entirely, but the D have him 3 consecutive chances to take control of the game, and he failed all 3 times. That's just the truth. I don't want him to have to score 30+ in the playoffs to win, which is where the a lot of other blame lies, but a lot of the reason Rodgers has to play so we'll is because his cap dictates what else we can do with the roster.

  43. DE for the Falcons I agree is their biggest need or RB but honestly no DE or RB should be picked 4th overall in this draft. Parsons I like and I had him there for awhile, he makes sense. But Kyle Pitts is getting pretty underrated in this process, the guy is a great football player and could be a dominant pro either at TE or at WR. Say he runs a 4.5 40 and has a great vertical people might start paying attention. Getting DeVonta or Chase also makes sense since Julio has been hurt so much. The QB talk for Atlanta not sure that makes much sense either, not sure they just can him or prep for
