  4. From Guy Wilson should be traded or cut by tomorrow. Only thing holding up is how much money the Titans can get back. Offered Watt around $10-12 million avg. Cap hit would be lower. Davis said to be able to get close to $13 million in FA. Not expecting him back. Positive talks with Jonnu.

  9. Hilton and Dwight Freeney were Texans killers. Freeney absolutely devastated Duane Brown, Brown had no answer to Freeney's spin move... Granted, everyone on the Colts has killed the Texans at some point. Heck, even Andre Johnson killed the Texans as a Colt.

  14. Not sure I see the really unremarkable power bit, but I guess it depends on how we're defining power. He certainly drags tacklers and generally has to be brought down, you can't just knock him off balance, but I agree that given his size and strength you'd expect him to brutalize on contact more. Just personally speaking though, if I had to balance those two traits in a RB this is absolutely the way I'd prefer they were stacked.

  20. That's putting it nicely. Will Fuller That would be the 7th highest paid WR in the NFL in terms of AAV, and has never eclipsed 1000 yards receiving and busted for PEDs this year. He'll be lucky if he gets even half of that. Denzel Perryman Admittedly, I haven't followed much of his career since he was drafted, but why would the Packers pay Perryman money to sit behind Barnes and Martin? This is really, really awful.

  23. Athlete. Add me to the football/wrestling club in HS. Was All-conference in both sports my Junior and Senior years. Qualified for the state tournament my Senior year at 140 lbs, we also made it as a team to state that year. Graduated HS around 165-170 lbs (my football weight). Played football in college at the D3 level but never cracked the lineup. I also wrestled for a semester but football was always my first love. By the time I graduated college I was up to 210 lbs. 31 now and I'm 225 lbs, trying to get back down to the 210-215 range and I'm 5'11".

  24. I'm not so sure about that. Herbert has 3 more years on a rookie contract plus the 5th year extension, while Watson is about to have a cap hit of 40 If you trust Herbert, and I think the Chargers do, there is a lot of value in having that extra 30-35M to spend on talent around him

  26. I'll argue that they need a floor even more than they need a cap tbh. Owners who tank and salary dump while holding fanbases hostage for stadium leases and continue to sell even low attendance numbers, not to mention TV deals, merchandise, etc. are a lot bigger issue than teams who write ridiculous checks to pay for titles. See: The Marlins The Indians The Royals pre-World Series The Expos/Nationals pre-new ownership Throw in the fact that owners refuse to open their books and show the losses that they claim, which they shouldn't be allowed to do since the stadium

  33. Brees? I don't think that Brees has that issue at all in recent years. But that's a byproduct of a few things. His passing game is vastly different and predicated more on shallow routes. Wilson typically is among the league leaders in how long he holds on to the ball and Brees is on the opposite end of the spectrum. And yes, Brees had the better offensive line. It's way things aren't always black and white. It's not really a knock on Wilson to say that he's to blame for some of the sacks / hits. You can say the same about Rodgers. They are always trying to make something happen. Wilson r

  35. The battle is real. I never played college sports myself, but participated in high school sports as a middling participant that helped the team but wasn't special. The best varsity place I ever got was second place on the swim team. There was another guy on the team that I never was going to beat, but I sometimes beat the best guy on the other team. I also played tennis. Never played organized football on this side of junior high. I am solidly in the fan camp nowadays having realized years ago that I can now only live out my sports dreams vicariously through the athletes for which I

  39. Frogs inspired me to do an in depth break down of my opinion on my picks in racks mock. 1.4- Penei Sewell OT Oregon I have Sewell as the #2 player on my board. So getting him at 4 after getting my #1 player at 1 obviously would be an ideal scenario. I believe Oline is very valuable and underrated in this league. Might not be sexy but I think he has sky high potential and can give me a great starter opposite Wills for years to come. I have Havenstein and Collins for two more years and Collins has some guard versatility so I can move guys around and have some nice depth on the line.

  40. I think the ownership endgame is now 18-game, 2 bye week, 20-game regular season and 7-team playoffs. With a 2-week preseason and scrapping the Pro Bowl game. Now that 17 games is here, the NFLPA isn’t getting that 2nd bye week without an 18th game. Where the bye week should have been the first solution except the NFLPA didn’t get the regular season locked in at 16 games in the last CBA renegotiation - that happened last year.
