Here are my thoughts on the WR prospects I've seen (generally not in any exact order): Ja'Marr Chase - You have to be one hell of a talent to beat out Smith in this class, and Chase is that. He's the full package. He is strong, physical, fast, explosive, quick, has a good frame, and has excellent body control. The nuances he has at such a young age are especially impressive (an example of being how long he waits to show his hands to keep the defender from playing the ball). While he doesn't have elite speed, he has this extra gear that seems to kick in when he needs to separate late, and5 points

To be honest I think the only reason Ferguson makes the roster is due to the other departures the team will likely have this offseason. He's been bad. Really bad. And I don't think he has the athletic profile to attach any upside to. He might be better off putting some weight on and moving to the line.3 points

To create a bit of plausible deniability. Alex's Agent: "C'mon, <GM of other team>, you know Alex's rep. You know Washington's rep. They took it out of context and reacted badly. Alex has been a good soldier for them, but he was a bit frustrated that no one believed in him over there. He went showed them that they were wrong, and then they looked to move on again? He became frustrated. That's not him normally, but that's Washington for you. Let's talk about a 2-3 deal ..."3 points

I think the fact that Jack Easterby has some how not “voluntarily” stepped down speaks volumes about how much of a bum he is. Most normal people would have figured out they should probably step away by now.3 points

https://www.twitch.tv/jburge25 2025 Playoffs - Super Bowl With all the awards and crazy stats the Bengals had, I am a little surprised to see them not as the #1 seed. #1 seed 11-5 Browns vs the #1 seed 14-2 Falcons. In a weird timeline, with Baker Mayfield going to the Patriots, the Browns QB is Sam Darnold. Their best players: DE Myles Garrett 99 CB Denzel Ward 99 HB Nick CHubb 99 OG Wyatt Teller 91 TE Austin Hooper 88 LT Jedrick Wills 88 This is a really good team. Ready for kickoff2 points

Shanny has success with late round picks or UDFAs, yet will always want to pay big bucks for backs or in this case spend a high pick on one. This is why he is his own worst enemy come draft time. It is clear he makes almost all the decisions for offensive players, especially early in the draft. Glad Deebo and Aiyuk worked out but…..2 points

The no trade clause assures he doesn't end up in the same situation with just a different logo on his helmet. The point of him asking out of Houston is to get out from under a dysfunctional organization. That's why I don't believe the reports that he's willing to go to the Jets. They're not that far removed from being as bad as the Texans. Miami has a willing owner and a team that looks to be on the verge. He has to go to an organization with a viable and somewhat stable culture and FO. If he does all this and ends up in Detroit, he'll look like a fool....and rightfully so. I'm with @For2 points

Sheehan and Cooley both have said that’s the name. People in the know have told them this whole thing was a farce and it’s Warriors. Was never a process or anything.2 points

That might be part of what’s making it so smooth. Everyone’s rankings are very different, so there’s less mess trying to get in front of others and crap. Combine is the great equalizer. Everyone wants an ideal h/w/speed guy.2 points

Hopefully we can agree to a restructure. Looking at $10M of dead money if not. Likely we would make him a June 1st cut, to only take on $6M this year.2 points

I don't condone anyone who sides with owners over players, tbh.. especially in a situation where the owners are clearly the problem This isn't a situation of a greedy player.. this is a situation of a player trying to escape a crappy situation2 points

The idea that coaches weren’t chomping at the bit to start an older QB coming off a catastrophic, life threatening injury over a first round pick from the year prior doesn’t exactly seem unreasonable. Obviously we all know how Dwayne turned out, and Alex had some moments and showed at the very least he’s can still be a crafty veteran QB, but the need to make a point of bringing this to the public is lame. There were plenty of legitimate me against the world angles to play that didn’t involve airing grievances against the team.2 points

It's too late for that. Please remember, this is 2/3rd the group that felt as if David Johnson and a 2nd round pick was fair compensation for DeAndre Hopkins. "Maximizing value" isn't on the menu on Kirby Ave. The Texans are going to completely botch this, because they're too busy trying to be smart and think outside the box - sometimes, conventional thinking is necessary just to get out of a tailspin such as this. But the Texans are too busy trying to find new and creative ways to become the village idiot to ever work out of this one. I'm already on record - Texans are going to2 points
