  7. Yes, disruption at the line of scrimmage and pressure has no effect on the QB or offense at large. That's why teams fall all over themselves to pay 100 Mill+ to guys like Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett. Those 15 or 13 plays a Year where they get Sacks are that valuable, nothing else they do matters. Which is why the Panthers getting Hassan Redick for 8 Mill coming off a 12.5 Sack Season is such a historic steal, I mean he's clearly better than Khalil Mack who could only muster 9 Sacks.

  8. Working on a mock with trades (kill me) and was looking for the BDL trade value chart I made last year. I came across my draft class grades for every team last year. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xJwCDLrtA3m2GWlsOk-oGtrfAlJ4pioM1cjmSMwSyX8/edit?usp=sharing Definitely got it wrong with Herbert and Rome but I think overall my grades weren't too bad.

  9. 6'8 guards/wings who can score, run an offense, and create for others are more valuable than volume scorers. I'm not going to pretend I've watched a ton of either guy but from what I have seen Oklahoma State is a terrible and selfish team. The assist/turnover numbers don't do Cade justice.

  12. Yeah, I went back and looked at the convo in the thread. JLash said what I did, but insta capitulated. I guess the rules were just changed after the fact, wouldn't have needed the convo if they were already there. Precendent was made so: Approve 2 for 1 3 Up and Overs

  13. I'm trying to imagine how I'd spin it a positive if the Packers had signed Adoree' to over twice the guarantees given to Aaron Jones considering: - Jackson missed 18 games over past 2 seasons due to injuries - 2 total INTs in 52 career games - Allowed passer ratings of 89.4 (2018), 94.3 (2019) and 145.8 (2020, just 3 games). Not even better than Kevin King's numbers - Titans knew him best, could've kept him on 10.2M 5th year option, had the cap space to do so, chose to cut him instead I mean, he's young, fast and can handle returns. For 1-year prove-it deal I would've been fine

  14. Serious question, why didn’t the Titans trade him? If the Giants were willing to give him this much, I’m sure they would’ve given some kind of draft pick up.

  19. You can't be serious. Did you watch LaMelo cherrypick his way to 92 points or are you simply reading the headlines? Cade averaged more points on better efficiency in a better league this year than LaMelo did in the NBL. Cade is an excellent playmaker. Is he an all time guy like Paul or Luka? Hard to say when you play on a selfish, terrible team like Ok St but he doesn't need to be ATG to be excellent in that regard, which he is. If you watched Cade play you'd see exactly why. When I first looked at his box score I was like wtf is this? How does he have more turnovers than points? Then I

  21. How? How would they have reshot all this with all of the actors, sets, crew, etc. during a pandemic and without word getting out? I'm telling you, this stuff was already shot 5 years ago. Whedon and WB did exactly what you said you can't see them doing, which is leave this all on the cutting room floor. They mandated a 2 hour run time and did 6 weeks of reshoots for the theatrical cut.

  22. the decision itself wont make or break the team, but its just another sign of how incompetent the guys running the show are

  23. this is just incredibly unnecessary at this point in the process before he's taking consistent reps with the 1's in camp or seeing him play even adequately well in a real game scenario. he was going to be RFA after the season anyway. could have just slapped a second round tender on him and kept him cheaper anyway.

  26. Haven’t caught up to replies but want to jump in on the Fuller news. So, going blind on the forums opinion on George Paton, but I think his first free agency has been a massive success. 1. Get some cornerback help ✅ 2. Re-sign our studs ✅ 3. Manage into a favorable cap situation. ✅ —— #3 assumes spotrac’s cap tab is updated and accurate. Not saying this is a finished roster, but I like what’s been done to this point, especially while maintaining a favorable cap situation that makes paying a QB (if one becomes available) possible.

  28. Dalton is a turnover machine. The differences between Mitch, Foles, and Dalton are so minute that it doesn't even really matter in the scheme of things since neither are good enough to make any significant difference without a loaded roster. The results will be the same. All of them are career backup QBs, and none of them are starting quality. Mitch has the most potential but only because he's the youngest. Other than that though....

  33. James Bradberry and Adoree Jackson are the outside corners. Darnay Holmes in the slot. Logan Ryan, Jabrill Peppers, and Xavier Mckinney are the 3 safety rotation with Julian Love being able to play anywhere as well. That's a top 5 secondary on paper right? It better be with what we've dedicated to it.

  34. This could turn out to be a VERY good signing. I agree with Patrick Peterson when he says this Vikings team is loaded. They could use an effective pass rusher, and another offensive lineman, but other than that, they are looking very good. I predicted 12 wins for them in 2021 and see no reason why that won't be the case at this point.

  36. I had a similar thing happen to me with Tyreek Hill. Pheltz put in a 1st round RFA offer for him right before the audio came out with him and his baby mama at the airport. And I chose not to match because I didn't want to risk paying 17k a year for a guy who might get a lengthy suspension. That did not work out for me.

  38. He's a 6'8 PG. Even if he is a liability on D (which I don't agree with) it'll be super easy to hide him on the opposing teams worst offensive player. The only times Oklahoma State looked like an actual basketball team last night was when Cade had the ball in his hands and made all the decisions. Cade is by no means a perfect player but he's clearly crafty and heady enough that he'll be able to score in the NBA. Especially if he's as good a shooter as he looked this season. He lacks explosiveness but Luka and LaMelo aren't all that explosive either. The NCAA and his team in general do

  40. I went to it when it was in Dallas a few years back. I think it was during the 3rd day. Pretty fun. Tons of activities. Basically just walk around drinking beer and listening to picks lol. And mostly only die hard fans go to the draft so lots of good conversation. We sat down and watched the stage for a bit but on day 3 there’s not much to watch. One weird thing did happen when we were walking around. We noticed a huge group of kids playing a football game. I mean like 50 kids running around sharing one ball. I noticed a big dude amongst them and it happened to be JuJu S

  41. Pro Football Focus graded Clemson RB Travis Etienne as the best pass-catcher in the 2021 RB draft class. The 2021 draft class has a handful of impressive pass-catchers at the top, so being that group is quite impressive. Etienne (5'10/205) held a 90.9 receiving grade, per PFF, which makes him the only RB in the class to clear the 90 mark. UNC's Michael Carter trails just behind at 88.6, with Alabama's Najee Harris coming in at third.
