  1. Bridgewater is HORRENDOUS. I don’t think people realize how easy it could have been for him last year. Moore, Samuel, Davis all balled out, all put up 1,000 yards. Joe Brady put him in the best position possible. And he somehow only mustered 14 TDs. I’m still forming my opinion/thoughts on this trade. But don’t get it twisted. Bridgewater’s timid play severely limited our offenses scoring productivity.

  2. It's worth noting that Carolina just gave up a significant amount of draft capital just to get worse at QB.

  3. It wouldn't be a QB thread without me mentioning Deshaun Watson... The conspiracy theory here in Houston is that Carolina knows what's going to drop tomorrow - Tony Buzbee has a noon press conference with "significant" news pertaining to the case. Carolina was supposedly going "All in" on Watson - even with the allegations. (I'm not sure if I believe that, but let's pretend it's true). Perhaps something they've heard from someone that this case is going to turn south? I dunno... I'm just upset nobody is making room for Watson anymore.

  4. Supposedly Shanny hasn't even told his staff his evaluation of the QBs we are considering. I don't think King or Maiocco are going to be breaking this pick; I think it will be Roger Goodell this year.

  15. This is a pretty complete team, outside of the offensive line. We could use another pass rusher, linebacker and safety, but none of those are positions of immediate need. The offensive line is, by far, this team's greatest concern. To that end, I wouldn't have any issue with the team using half of its picks on offensive linemen. Especially in the 1st, 3rd and 4th rounds. It may be a "throw it against the wall and see what sticks" approach, but this team needs to find two quality starters on the line, and the best way to do it is to draft as many linemen as you can who you think can get the job

  17. The Vikings need to add a couple of guys with size and strength. I like getting athletic offensive linemen, but they’ve seemed to sacrifice NFL ready strength for that athleticism. Guys like Jenkins, Leatherwood, Vera-Tucker, Davis, Dickerson, Cleveland, etc should be prioritized.

  30. Hey. So... you guys know how the Lions are rebuilding and stuff? Well, in the same way that a future Chiefs' 1st round pick is "really an early 2nd round pick", a future Lions' 3rd round pick is "really a late 2nd round pick". And we've got one of those bad boys burning a hole in our collective pockets. There's a player here that our guys would love to get their (figurative, non-Watson-like) hands on, and we'd love to offer our "really late 2022 2nd round pick" to move up. You'll get to brag that you have this wonderful pick, and the judges will undoubtedly consider this when giving

  31. (Pick #113) : The Lions are going to swing for the fences here. With Goff locked in as the starter for two years, we've decided to add a legitimate developmental piece to the QB position. It's very likely that Mond is drafted well before the 4th round in April, and, with the Lions' young supporting cast, we think it may prove to be a quality situation for a young QB when (and if) he's ready to take over. If not, we've got future picks aplenty. D-0250 KELLEN MOND, QB, TEXAS A&M @BringinDaPain and the Carolina Panthers are on the clock.

  33. I've been saying this all along. I just can't believe people aren't seeing this....I don't even think Adam Peters knows who we are talking...Why? Because Shanny doesn't want ANYONE leaking and Peters has some people around the league he is close to and it's possible he will leak it out....as will others. Simms may be right that we take Jones, but it's not because Shanny told him that...If Shanny told him that, then Simms is intentionally not talking about Jones as much.

  36. Rodgers was definitely better than Brees in 2011. Numbers aside, Rodgers could do no wrong that year. That was the year him and Nelson mastered the back-shoulder throw and it felt impossible to stop. But focusing on numbers, what would Brees' argument be? He threw one more TD on 155 more pass attempts. Rodgers had a much better INT%. His QB rating was 12 points higher. His Y/A was almost a full yard higher. Packers had the highest scoring offense in the league. Packers were the best team that season. Other than bulk yards, what argument does Brees have? And like I said, just watchin

  37. People forget that Winston was a #1 overall pick. He was actually a really good prospect. He was a better prospect than the current Mac Jones. The Saints have Winston under contract this year, and it would likely take at least two 1st and a 2nd to get high enough to get Jones...that's just not worth it. If Jones fell to the Saints...sure, I'd be game. But he's not worth all of those resources considering that the Saints already have Winston who still has potential.

  38. My gut says it's more about Jimmy, but that's a real gut call and impossible to say for sure. We have the 9 balls queued up in scheme all the time. Jimmy doesn't throw them and he's not great at them. It's actually really frustrating to watch when you see it, ask @N4L. Kyle has always utilized a deep ball. In Atlanta, deep passes happened at a rate nearly double what Jimmy throws them at. Cj threw more balls 20+ yards then Jimmy did last year in 40 fewer attempts. Also, It's not like fields doesn't have a ton of rac because he's inaccurate. A lot of that is done up from scheme. He
