  1. Are we all just having fun with aggressive use of quotes now? Because I've got 2 words for this thread: "Jaguars fan"

  2. Please, spare me. "What do all of our "scientists" think of Faucis emails?". That was your quote. You're gaslighting. You and I and everyone else in this thread knows you were trying to imply that Faucis emails were some big gotcha moment, your passive aggressive "scientists" comment spelled it out loud and clear. I do preach being open-minded, you don't get to be "open-minded" about a pandemic or the science behind it. You don't get to cry conspiracy theories and then claim others aren't "open-minded" because they won't take your ridiculous comments and theories seriously. Here you go ag

  4. Just as indicated in your 2nd post, it's not new money, it's just an acceleration of what he would have already been paid in 2022. It's done about as responsibly as can be done. If he's back to himself, they can get a new deal done in the offseason, if not, they can let him go prior to the bonus being paid out. It satisfies Danielle, since he can invest the money immediately instead of having to wait, and it doesn't add any burden to the Vikings' cap this year.

  5. honest question; In that Tenn game, if Carr scrambled right, and dove into the endzone, do you think youd be saying: A. Wow what hustle and heart by Carr there B. who cares, it was garbage time My money is on B.

  6. You notice how the quotes you posted mention fulminant lymphocytic myocarditis, giant cell myocarditis, eosinophilic myocarditis and irreversible myocardial injury? Yeah, that’s not the myocarditis that is being seen, at all. These cases have been in the 16-24 age range. 11.9 million people in that age range have been fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, exactly three have been in ICU for myocarditis. That’s a 0.000025% rate of severe incident. So no, a 0.0000025% rate for severe hospitalization and three total cases is not comparable to 2% death rate resulting in 3.8M global deaths. They’re

  9. Another silly scenario that isn't happening. The moment he retires to avoid the fines of holding out, he than would have to write the Packers a check for the prorated part of the signing bonus he did not live up to. It would be in the 10's of millions of dollars. Just not happening. He will show up the first day of training camp and act like nothing happened and the media made it all up. And some on here will beat it to death daily because they simply enjoy the mental masturbation. Just a different type of daily fix for some I guess.

  13. this might sound silly given that we just added Julio, but I consider Darrynton Evans as the 'x factor' of this offense. Even with Julio, this team needs true speed. Evans is the only guy that brings legit track speed to the offense and I really hope he can take hold of the #2 RB spot and give us ~15 snaps a game. We need that type of dynamic addition to the backfield

  17. Anyone else listen to Kawakami's podcast with Kyle as the guest? Good listen and Kyle said he was pretty much as defensive as he was towards Mac Jones in the presser the week of the draft pretty much to defend all the criticism he was getting and continuing to hide the pick of Lance. He said most of the league was convinced Jones was the pick so he was trying to solidify that thought lol. He said Jimmy looks really good and it will be hard for Trey to beat him out but he kept throwing it out that if Trey is ready to compete then he won't be afraid to "play the rookie." So I think there wi

  19. It won't be within the same order of magnitude. Also, this is how vaccines have worked for a while. You make something that looks exactly like the thing you want to immunize. That's how we vaccinate smallpox, as a historic example. The shiny new mRNA vaccines not needing even the intact viral particle is new, but that doesn't make these vaccines worse.

  20. Again, I dont know why you do that. I rate us as a team. For example week 1, Carr played pretty good, but Jacobs was a god in the Redzone. Jacobs, not Carr wouldve got my game ball. I, and most other Carr supporters, are trying to say, it should not all go on the QB. You are the one who says they do, Not me. if we loss, 31-35, it typically means that the O was productive, but the D allowed a lot of points. So I am going to lean more towards blaming the D here then the O is it really that complicated?

  21. Exactly. It would be a waste of resources needed elsewhere no matter what. 7 of our 8 losses came when we allowed over 30 points. This isn't to say the offense was perfect, but when you lose 31-35, 27-44, and 27-30, your offense isn't the problem. The Bills game, a 23-30 loss was also a winnable game. 4 losses were 1 score games, 3 of which were in the aforementioned 7/8. The difference between us being a possible 12-4 and 8-8 rests mostly on the defense. 11-5 instead of 8-8 is almost entirely on the defense. The Patriots, Buccaneers, and Falcons games were inexcus

  23. Good pick... Depending on the team, I'd say Wilson was worth anywhere from a 3rd to a 8th in my book. Wilson in the 6th looks especially good when compared to Lance going #2. Sure, Lance has a much better situation, but very real chance he doesn't start much of 2021 and then you're looking at an extra 2 NSFL seasons of stashing before there's even a chance he contributes, on top of the 1 NSFL season any rookie is not going to contribute. If you like Wilson as a prospect, no reason to think he won't be able to show promise as a rookie in which case his value instantly jumps far pas

Those AZ heatwaves are no joke either - I've heard that the pavement can get so hot that certain shoe soles would melt if someone would stand too long. Holy moly, that's hot...

  33. This guy is actually very good and was a steal for such little money. I hope the Bears will use Williams as an equal to Montgomery rather than just a backup. He should get every 3rd or 4th series. He’s effective in this system and should be in good shape after sitting for an entire season.

  34. The discussion of moving him to safety happened just after he was drafted. If they had ever had any intention of moving him to safety it would have happened last year during camp. They didn't then, so why would they do it now? It wouldn't make any sense to have him play an entire year at CB just to move him to safety in year 2. He's a CB, period. Hell, if worse comes to worse at safety, Sendejo is still a free agent. 🤣

Just think about the laughing stock we'd be over the last couple of years right now if we had done some of the kneejerk nonsense like: Trade for Watson Break the bank for LeVeon Bell Kept and paid Amari Cooper Kept and paid Jared Cook All on top of the actual dumb*** moves like trading Mack, sending multiple picks to Pittsburgh in exchange for their headache WRs, our draft reach fetish, etc. Literally every move so many pounded the table for, or got and de

  37. If a young player is showing promise at cornerback, you’re not going to move him to safety. The positional value between the top is simply too lopsided. And since Hand is not only playing CB during OTAs, but he’s standing out and getting 1st team reps. It’s highly unlikely a move to safety will happen any time soon.
