  1. Miami deserves to suck for firing him. He got that roster to overachieve big time the past few years.

  3. why hire him in the first place if 4-13 wasn't going to cut it? that was basically their ceiling.

  4. I'd argue he's the only reason Miami wasn't a complete dumpster fire. How he managed to win games and motivate that team with that lack of talent in so many key places was truly unbelievable.

  10. Honestly either way it went somebody was getting screwed. If they blew the play dead the Bengals would have absolutely been screwed out of a legit touchdown. And by letting the play stand they screwed the Raiders out of benefiting from a blown, bad call. I can't bring myself to have any sympathy for the Raiders on this one.

  11. Someone with deep pockets that doesn't want to interfere would be nice, but I just don't want anyone with huge ethical concerns (looking at you Bezos, you tax dodging, poor salary paying arsehole). Being owned by Pat Bowlen was something to be proud of as a fan.

  12. I will never understand people choosing to make fun of Dave Gettleman for wearing a mask in a room with a camera operator and an assistant while being a 70 year old man who had just beaten cancer during a global pandemic instead of literally any of the stupid moves or public comments he made as GM of the Giants.

  13. I haven't seen the game yet, but I did see how it turned out and wanted to come in and congratulate you guys on the victory. While I have nothing against the Chargers, this has been a difficult season for Raider Nation in many ways, so it was nice to see this happen for you. I'll be pulling for you in the playoffs. Here's hoping you go on a deep run! Best of luck!

  15. I'm going to keep my head up. We shouldn't have even been here. This game summed up our entire season honestly. Some exciting highs, some devastating lows. Controversy. Undisciplined. Overachieved talent. Clawed until the verylast second. I'm just proud we made the playoffs.

  24. What a remarkably dumb move. The Dolphins went 8-1 down the stretch, finished with a winning record, and overachieved last year with 10 wins. JFC.

  25. My opinion is that Zimmer is a great coach (if he has a strong OC to run the offense) and Rick is a great GM, but after 8 years with only 2 playoff wins, the organization just needs a fresh direction. It was the right decision to move on, but I expect Rick to have success somewhere else.

  26. The analytics approach is nothing different than "playing by the book" in blackjack. The strategy in blackjack (and it even says it IN THE BOOK) doesn't guarantee that you'll win. It states that given a large enough sample-size, the numbers bear out that you'll win more than you lose and thus that (assuming you're making the same starting bet each time) you'll come out with more money than you started with more times than not. Statistical anomalies still occur; the human element alone accounts for that even in non-blackjack situations. It doesn't make the statistical analysis or factoring

  27. looking through the final standings I still cannot help but vomit by how disgusting the records look after a 17-game season

  28. Agreed. A number come from poor OT match ups or broken blocking assignments too. No reason to dump on Strahan's record at all, nor Watt now. Both were stellar seasons.

  32. To be honest, the only Texans games I watched were two of the Tyrod ones, and whatever RZ showed me. I know I read some gaffs he had. That said, they seemed to be competitive at times? Certainly didn't quit. The team was gutted, and he didn't have his Top 10 QB. He was the lamb to the wolves.

  33. Keep Chubb, he's a beast. Hunt doesn't have a market (I wouldn't think) to make moving him close to worth it. Johnson has great balance and will. Keep all three. Injuries, Covid and rest are three reason why. Give Chubb 15 carries per game. Hunt 8-10. Johnson 6. If someone is lighting it up, ride him. We built the offensive line to run the ball. It's what all of them are best at. Our best playmakers are RBs. Why we refuse that identity I don't know but we shouldn't. We can still be balanced but you pass from run sets which creates mismatches. You don't even have to have gre
