  1. The story, A Song of Fire & Ice, is extraordinary. The main character deaths are not to piss off the audience, but are driven by the characters & their decisions (good or bad). The show was awesome for 4 seasons, but the show runners are awful without the source material. Sorry, I'm a GoT snob.
  2. Slide me in, if there is still a spot. I commish 3 dynasty leagues. I'd help, if needed.
  3. I seriously hope Miami & Cincinnati grab Grier/Lock here in round 2 & totally screw over the Cardinals. I just don't see this as a smart move (drafting Rosen, then drafting Murray, then trading Rosen for change on the dollar), but I am far from a Draft Wonk, so I do not know if Murray is worth the trouble or not.
  4. It seems like the Cardinals lost a lot of leverage with the Giants and Redskins both selecting QBs last night. I would assume that this would drop the price for Rosen..... could it get as low as a 3rd or 4th & another late round pick? Would it be worth it??? Doing it for anything lower than a 3rd would be a no-brainer for me.
  5. Is that where all home games will be? They used to be at Simley.
  6. Orange Snow The orange tinge to the snow is pretty incredible. Also, having another snow day (my 9th this year) attached to my vacation to Tampa (our flight barely beat the snow yesterday) is incredible. I can handle running the snowblower one more time for this.
  7. I used to work with one of the guys who opened Number 12 Cider. I don't know about the quality of his work, but it is in the Warehouse District in Minneapolis.
  8. Or you can also drive a little bit further up and get on at Ft Snelling. That's what i've always done.
  9. Nah. I wanted a picture, but i thought that he'd end up trying to eat me. I live about 3 miles from TCO, so i am a little surprised that he's the first Viking that i've seen around here.
  10. Linval Joseph was signing autographs at my local Hyvee this afternoon. I was shopping about 10 feet from him as he walked in. He is the largest human that i have ever seen. Wow.
  11. Wouldn't the counter argument to that being getting the rookie some game experience in a position that is not quite as imperative for the well being of the QB? The Vikings have also trended towards OLinemen with position flexibility. It seems like these rookies have experience in multiple positions (take that comment with a grain of salt... i am a peripheral draft-nik). And who honestly knows what the plan for Reiff is, as they could intend to keep him around longer than just this year, especially if the development of a rookie at LG helps to improve the overall quality of the line. I'm n
  12. I think that the talk of Reiff to guard is all smoke. Maybe I am wrong, but if the Viking took a guy like Dillard, Taylor, Williams, Little, etc. wouldn't it be more likely that the rookie played at IOL in their first year and transition out to OT if the Vikes cut ties with Reiff? I am trying to think of examples where this has happened in the NFL, but i am drawing a blank.
  13. https://www.minnpost.com/media/2018/12/after-50-years-at-wcco-mark-rosen-signs-off/ Look at Uncle Buck's post...
