  1. What do you guys think about this, because it surely involves a trade up. Every year there is a player (or two) who inexplicably slides. But....... If the draft plays out that we reach pick 16 to 18 say, and he is still available - what do you all think about pulling the trigger on a trade up for LB Micah Parsons? I don't think it would be super expensive in draft capital. Definitely 26 and a 3rd or 4th rounder this year, as well as probably a 2nd or 3rd rounder in 2022. But he is a generational talent. He would solidify the middle level of the defense. We would then have a stud
  2. If that were to play out, I'd be real happy with Greg Newsome, ecstatic with Caleb Farley. I think that, even in his rookie season, Farley would be "The Dawg" of the back end. I think he is that good.
  3. Totally agree my man. Until he SHOWS it on the field, it is just hopeful speculation.
  4. Gotta hope Greedy negates the need for another corner.
  5. First deadline deal - JaVale McGee to the Nuggets. https://www.nbcsports.com/edge/basketball/nba/player/29390/javale-mcgee
  6. Pretty cool story on cleveland.com this morning https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2021/03/john-johnson-iiis-boston-college-roommate-and-saint-ignatius-star-kevin-kavalec-sold-him-on-cleveland-and-knew-hed-love-it.html
  7. Nice write up here https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/john-johnson-signs-cleveland-browns-fit-contract-details
  8. My bad, thought Collins was a swiss army knife of LBs. Thanks for the 411.
  9. If you want to go the "traditional" LB route - I'd pass on Mosley and draft Zaven Collins. I would live with the rookie mistakes. I think he offers better upside at a lower cost. If you have bought into the "traditional" route, why wouldn't you draft the reigning college defensive player of the year at the position you want to upgrade? I don't think we are that desperate for on the field defensive leaders.
  10. I have no idea what the future holds for Greedy the football player. As far as Greedy the human being, welcome back.
  11. I couldn't find a thread already started on this topic, so here goes...... I have looked at a couple of references, and they tell me the NFL cap is a HARD cap, i.e. you are not allowed to exceed it at any time. Also all player contracts must be approved by the league office. That being said, with those systems and checks and balances in place - how in the world does a team (New Orleans in this case) get to be $60 million OVER the cap? Surely that cannot be good for the game on two fronts - it allows a team to gain a competitive edge by signing premium free agents, and it destroy
  12. Even from Dawg Pound Nation, I prefer those uniforms all day every day to the current number fonts.
  13. Any draft that ends up with the Browns able to land Jeremiah Owosu-Koromoah or Zaven Collins is a home run in my book. The Browns are off to a fabulous start in this draft. Great analysis too.
  14. Yup we will gladly take Zaven off your hands - LOL....
  15. I vote for keeping Bitonio as well. However, Michael Dunn earned his chops last year and provides us with great depth.
  16. I am not trying to say what is right and what is wrong, as there is enough sadness in this story to go all around. I hope and pray for good health to return to the little girl. In the meantime, Adam Schefter is reporting Britt Reid is no longer with the Chiefs organization.
  17. God needed a big game coach. Prayers up to the family.
  18. GREAT choice Reggie! The difference in the running game between when he was in vs when he was out was....... As wide as the Grand Canyon.
  19. My contribution. Breakout player really could be one of three Ronnie Harrison Jacob Phillips Donovan Peoples-Jones
  20. Man, I like this. Every one of of those moves targets an acute need. The only thing I may suggest is somehow (FA, draft or trade) get a WR burner. This acts as insurance if OBJ doesn't restructure or is not the same player he used to be once he completes ACL rehab. Absolutely LOVE the top two draft picks.
