  1. If Jay is saying DG may not be safe, I’m very happy
  2. We still have No. 2 overall. Next week matters. Loser likely gets pick 2. I’d rather tank than have to face Chase twice a year
  3. I like Dodds from Indy and Caserio from NE for GM. Rhule as HC and Pierce as DC is a combo thrown around a lot (probably bc Pierce retweets/likes every one of em). Rhule is in like year 3 of 8 of a big contract and not sure how the buyout works. My big desire is the coach uses analytics. Real time in game analytics. Kevin Stefanski is another name that comes to mind. Robert Saleh, Kris Richards, and Bret Bielema for defensive minded guys. Josh McDaniels would be interesting if Caserio became GM. Greg Roman and Brian Daboll for offensive minded guys. Dark horse candidate is our own Thomas McGaughey.
  4. We are 2-11. If we were going to move on from him next year, should have traded him by deadline. A 7th is better than nothing.
  5. He didn’t want to be here. No one does. This team is a dumpster fire.
  6. There’s a few more but lost them in refreshing my feed
  7. Several around the league are reporting a new GM is likely. Tisch is apparently fed up with sucking. Good for him
  8. 1) He created the cap hell. Reese was pretty good at managing the cap. We have so much dead money from him this year it’s insane. Jonathan Stewart? Patrick Omameh? Paying Elite LT money for an average LT? Signing OBJ to Trade him... etc etc 2) I miss Vernon and OBJ and Richburg. 3) Get younger by signing aging veterans (see above) 4) The larger point about trading for Williams is his misuse of draft capital. He drafted BJ hill with a third. He drafted RJ McIntosh with a fifth. He had Dalvin on the roster. He drafts Lawrence with a first. Then he trades a 3rd and 4/5 for another DT who wants to be paid like an elite defender? Don’t forget, he traded away Snacks for a fifth. Snacks > Williams.
  9. Caserio or Dodds. Our roster is pretty terrible... Players I would rate as solid starters or better: Offense: Barkley, Shepherd, Engram, Slayton, Jones, Hernandez, Zeitler. Defense: Love, Tomlinson, Golden, Connelly.
  10. But if we lose next week, wouldnt dolphins hold the tie breaker? Or is draft based of SOS? Which I think would still be us bc our division is so bad. Either way, I want both Young and Eli to win
  11. Why not win this week against the Eagles. Seems like a better win than Phins
  12. I am conflicted. I don’t want Eli to have a losing record.
  13. Yep. I like the combo of Smith + Engram at TE, too. Offensively we are okay minus OL. Could use 3 new starters there 🙄
  14. Very excited about Slayton moving forward. Really like what he brings to the table
  15. I fear that’s gonna be the case for most quality players. We will be spending a fortune
  16. Just did a mock before i dig into my actual work. I don't agree with a lot of the positional rankings but used the OTC mock draft thing. It factors in estimated comp picks. 1.2 - Chase Young, Edge 2.34 - Grant Delpit, Safety 3.34 - Lucas Niang, RT 4.108 - Jacob Phillips, ILB 5.146 - Tyler Johnson, WR 6.180 - Collin Johnson, WR 7.215 - Justin Strnad, LB 7.242 - Nick Harris, OC 7.247 - Ashtyn Davis, S 7.253 - Mekhi Becton, OT 7.255 - Kendall Coleman, Edge I couldn't pass on Delpit to take a LT in second. Thankfully, Niang was there in the third. I think Becton will be a great OT - mammoth of a man with a gigantic wingspan. But, I am not sure if either can play LT.
  17. Funny you say that. I’ve seen 3-4 more mocks with quality OT/OC going at the top 3rd round pick. Instead we get a DT with “potential” even though we have 754 DT. We’re gonna lose out a premium player for a guy that “doesn’t show up on stat sheets”
  18. Solder has given up more sacks than Flowers ever did in a full season. Oddly enough, flowers is playing decent at OG. Coaching is big
  19. Personally, I’d like Ed Dodds at GM. And a coach that uses analytics. If Rivera is anti analytics then I don’t want him. And an OC that uses Barkley in space. You know... that thing he’s good at but Shumar won’t do bc going out in space is for wimps! Running up the middle with a bad center is for real men! Also, if nothing else, Hal Hunter has to go. The OL is terribad. My grandmother with Alzheimer’s can do as good a job as Hal for a lot less
  20. Solder contract was terrible too. He’s worse than Flowers minus the penalties. Hill, Carter, Barkley, Hernandez have not improved this year. They looked like foundational pieces last year and have regressed or stagnated this year. Something to keep in mind
  21. If we bring in Rivera, do we transition back to a 4-3 or stay at 3-4? I like the hybrid 3-4 look. Personally, I think Young, Moses, and Niang would be a great 3 rounds. Depending on his recovery, I could see Moses going in mid first, though. I don’t think Thomas is worth the #2. He’s not a Tyron Smith or Joe Thomas. I would take him at 5 or so though. What makes Gettleman even more frustrating is we spent a 2018 third on Hill, a 2019 first on Lawrence, and a 2020 3rd for Williams. That’s a lot of premium draft capital on DTs considering the state of the roster. Personally, I would have drafted up from 17 to 15 to get Burns but being an arm chair GM is easy
