  1. I am not convinced Gase is the coach for the future of the Jets. Winning a few games when your season is already decided does not impress me. The see the phenominal job Gregg Williams has done with the defense more of a factor than Gase's leadership. My focus this offseason would be on Joe Douglas recognizing who the talented players on the team currently and keeping those players in-house in spite of Gase's personal feelings about these players. JD has to hit on whatever players he brings into the organization.
  2. Robbie Anderson is a good #2 outside WR. A #1 outside WR is needed before the Jets can think of bringing Robbie Anderson back to have a couple good games when the season is already over.
  3. Are Jets in on the Jalen Ramsey trade talk?
  4. I am laughing at how people thought Adam "Crazy Ivan" Gase would operate any different than in Miami. He alienates his best players and calls a lousy game.
  5. I was saying this the whole game. Trust your QB. This is nothing more than circa Miami Dolphins 2018. I am done trying this believe in this coach.
  6. I expect the Jets to make some waiver wire moves over the next couple of days. One rumor is Kiko Alonso is being let go by Miami. Do you think Kiko is an option to replace Avery Williamson?
  7. What is done is done. The GM who ran the draft is GONE. Get over it and lets support the players the Jets currently have. Quinnen Williams is considered by many people to be the best player in the draft.
  8. Is the green and white scrimmage going on tonight?
  9. CB is going to be the Jets #1 problem this year. Darnold and Co. is going have to outscore teams this year.
  10. Cody Parkey is available?
  11. One thing I get from this game is Jamison Crowder will lead the team in catches.
  12. 100% CUT HIM TONIGHT.
  13. Mr. Douglas understands what the Jets needs are and is focused on addressing those needs. What a novel idea.
  14. I am just trying to figure out what direction the Jets are going. I rather get someone who will be with Darnold for a decade than a one year rental. If Harrison was not cutting it and Ryan Kilal improves the position, fine. I don't want Darnold running for his life. I want sustainability for the OL and not a bunch of aging one year rentals. That would be a same ol' Jets philosophy.
  15. Signing a 34yr player, albeit, at a need position is counter to the youth movement theory. Gase must not have been happy with Harrison's play and told Douglas "get me a f'ing center". I see this as a 1yr thing to bring some stability to the OL. I am trying to be optimistic about Gase and company. We'll see. GO JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I have reservations about trading for a 31yr old player with injury concerns. I understand Trent Williams is a top player when healthy and will a be an upgrade at LT. The most I will offer will be a 3rd round. I am content to wait for Collins in free agency next offseason than to offer more draft picks. The best time to make a move is now before the games start. If the OL struggles in pre-season games the price will go up.
  17. Quinnen Williams has been signed. Jet have 100% attendance. Lets go. https://www.newyorkjets.com/news/jets-agree-to-terms-with-first-round-pick-dl-quinnen-williams From Rotoword: Jets signed No. 3 overall pick DL Quinnen Williams to a four-year, $32.5 million contract. The deal includes a $21.68 million signing bonus and fifth-year team option. New York reportedly initially tried to defer more than 30 percent of Williams' signing bonus to the second year of his contract, but the two sides met in the middle on a 25 percent layover and 75 percent once he puts pen to
  18. I think Joe Douglas learned his craft as part of the Ravens organization. The Ravens liked accumulating draft picks during the time Joe Douglas was in Baltimore. Ravens draft history In Philadelphia it was more of mixed accumulation of draft picks where the Eagles traded some of their picks in 2018 and 2019 drafts. Eagles draft with Joe Douglas This could mean Joe Douglas will be more liberal with the Jets draft picks. I would expect Joe Douglas to stand pat with Jets draft picks.
  19. The fact Joe Douglas is considering Tod McShay is disturbing. A good GM should consider bringing in the best qualified people instead of the people you know or are most comfortable with. In the end, I don't care who comes in as long as they get results. WIN!!!!!
  20. The Jets ownership group lucked up into a getting a good candidate that wanted the job and not be insulted by low ball offers. Lets see what Joe Douglas can do with the Offensive Line and secondary which is still lacking.
  21. It is ironic the Jets GM job is more intriguing to candidates based on what Maccagnan has done the past 2 years. Maccagnan's legacy will be Sam Darnold not Hackenberg.
  22. My Bold predictions are 1. TE Chris Herndon leads the team in receptions. 2. DL Leonard Williams is traded because Gase do not want to pay him. 3. Quinnen Williams has more than 10+ sacks. 4. Jets Defense will be ranked within top 10. 5. LeVeon Bell falls below 1400yds total yds.
  23. I am fine with this. WHATEVER. What do we have to lose at this point. Only the future of Sam Darnold is at stake here. Sam Darnold is thinking "Four more years".
  24. Adam "Crazy Ivan" Gase was upset Maccagnan did not sign DANIEL FELLS. A person who may never walk right again much less play football. OMG!!!!!! This explains Maccagnan drafting Trevon Wesco.
  25. I don't care what Adam Gase does as long as I get a winning season from the Jets .
