  1. Lions announced they have agreed to terms with General Manager Bob Quinn on an extension to his current contract. The extension matches the term of HC Matt Patricia’s new deal with the team - both tied to Detroit for five years
  2. According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, free agent slugger J.D. Martinez is discussing short-team and long-term offers with the Diamondbacks. Nightengale doesn't indicate what a short-term or long-term deal could look like with Arizona, but it's certainly interesting news, especially after the report Tuesday of Martinez's frustrations with the Red Sox and their "inflexible" negotiating process. Martinez finished his 2017 campaign with the Diamondbacks, crushing National League pitching to the tune of a 1.107 OPS in 62 games and finishing with 45 total home runs between the D'Backs and
  3. Very nicely done. only2 problems for the lions is trading a 3rd for Talib, don't think it would take that much to get him esp with his huge contract #.maybe a 6th or something instead. and I'm not sure how I feel about Hyde signing. he just feels like AA, id rather go Crowell . but super job over all with all the teams.
  4. on the offensive side of the ball Jim Bob Cooter is expected to stay on,
  5. hearing the 76ers want him or lou Williams but they don't wanna part with there 1st round pick.. is Tyreke a FA after this yr?
  6. saw something on cbs sports or something that the blazers would be smart to move C. J. McCollum. saying cj and dam aren't working out
  7. Lions announce the hire of Matt Patricia as head coach. made it official. wonder what Patriot 's guys he's going bring. maybe Butler(depending on what he did) maybe a trade for talib, Chris Long(I think he stays in philly tho) im excited to see what he does
  8. Lions announce the hire of Matt Patricia as head coach.... I like the move, I can Butler(depending on why he was benched) come to the motor city with matt and him and Slay make a good 1-2 CB or they trade for Talib
  9. *not sure if this has been posted yet* The Sixers have expressed trade interest in Tyreke Evans, according to league sources, but Memphis continues to seek a first-round pick in an Evans deal and Philly is naturally reluctant to surrender it
  10. still trying to figure this trade out. I mean I get it for both teams but I don't think Blake puts Detroit over the top and makes them a top 4 Eastern Conference team this year.. for the clips I get it get out of the contract and maybe sign a max deal player in the offseason. funny thing is the clips still have a shot for the playoffs
  11. http://www.9news.com/mobile/article/sports/pro-bowl-may-be-talibs-last-appearance-as-bronco/73-512144538 how about going after Talib? Him and slay would be a nice combo and he knows matt Patricia from when he was in ne
  12. if you need a 2 basemen the phils have César Hernández available. they have kingery in the minors and hes the #1 rated 2nd baseman. we don't have a SP to package with tho http://m.mlb.com/prospects/2018/?list=2b
  13. forgot about the brews getting Cain I had a brain fart
  14. is yelich going bat lead off for the brewers or they going go with Villar/ Santana/?
  15. heard now that brews have 2 new of's there going try and flip an of(Santana, Keon Broxton or Brett Phillips) for a pitcher.
  16. I hope we do something, we need a SP or 2. I think we should move VV to the bp. also I was thinking could Cesar play 3rd? I know the phils have been moving Kingery all around the diamond last yr but he got a gold glove at 2nd.
  17. I was saying Barkley could be our Zeke but better, I was saying Zeke looks like a franchise back. and Barkley could be that for us... also im only saying do it if Barkley is dropping in the 10th-12 pick range.
  18. here's another thought instead of a FA rb what if Saquon Barkley drops to like 10-12th ish in the draft. he is prob the best back in the draft why not trade up and take him? * I think hes going be better then Zeke and it looks like Zeke is a franchise back if he cuts out the non-sense * Barkley can run up the middle and be Staffords blanket and if we have him the next 10 yrs he could be LaDainian Tomlinson light. IN Fa we franchise Ziggy, bring in Butler and get another DE.
  19. not saying the would but maybe they want to change direction from Dalton to McCarron. Aj would cost less and the bengals could get a pick back for him... I mean I know hes not leaving Cincy but it could(1 out of 100 chance) it would http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cincinnati-bengals/andy-dalton-7750/
  20. Yu Darvish - S - Dodgers According to Jon Morosi of MLB.com, it is "increasingly likely" that Yu Darvish will sign this week. It's final offer time on the 31-year-old right-hander, who has been linked to the Twins, Cubs, Brewers, Dodgers, Yankees, and Rangers at various points this offseason. Darvish was also said to be drawing serious interest from the Astros before they acquired Gerrit Cole from the Pirates on January 13. Darvish dropping off the market should create a domino effect for fellow free agent starters like Jake Arrieta, Alex Cobb, and Lance Lynn.
  21. what if the bengals cut Andy Dalton and kept McCarron. then you dalton to the browns? and Alex Smith to Jags and they jags keep brotles to back him up?
  22. Alex Smith- Browns Cousins- pitt(if Ben retires) if not Denver TT- Jets McCarron - Skins buff- rookie indy- ?? depending on Luck. if luck cant go they may draft a rookie high
  23. I think its a must to have a coach on the staff that was a HC(either college or the pros somewhere just to help everyone else out.
  24. I like Crowell, 2 years ago he looked good for the browns but this past season it seemed like the browns didn't want to use him or he wa hurt or something. think him Theo and Green would be good trade AA for something. I also don't think Lewis would come here unless we over pay. he'd prob go with McDaniel's to indy or stay at NE.
  25. Craig Mish of SiriusXM reports that the Brewers have put together a trade offer for Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich. There's a long list of teams in the mix for Yelich, but Mish hears that the Brewers have shown "strong interest" as they look to improve upon their surprise 2017 season. And with a strong farm system, they also have the sort of prospects required to get a deal done. Yelich's contract (four years and $43.25 million) makes him an attractive option for both small and large-market teams. Nothing appears to be imminent, but the Brewers could be a legitimate suitor.
