  1. starting to get the feeling Hosmer is going back to kc, Moustakas is prob going take a 1 yr deal with the yanks. jd will take Boston's offer of 5 yrs 125 mil.. Curious to see where Cobb/Lynn go.. my guess is cobb to the twins and Lynn to the Phillies
  2. nice posts. good work. hopefully it will become the lions way asap
  3. https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/ronald-acuna-for-christian-yelich-is-not-a-crazy-ask/ fangraphs wrote a piece up about this.. not saying there right
  4. http://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/phillies/nick-williams-talks-phillies-free-agent-cy-young-winner-jake-arrieta Nick Williams talks up Phillies to Arrieta I think a few take a 1 yr deal esp thinking teams will be more inclined to spend next yr.. the other day I said J. D. Martinez should do a 1 yr 20 mil deal and next yr after a team loses out on the "major fa's"... example if the Nats lose harper next yr can sign Martinez to a 3 yr 80 mil deal or something. Peter Gammons of MLB Network reports that the Marlins would need Ronald Acuna in a trade

  6. Source: Boston's offer to J.D. Martinez is in the range of five years, $100 million. I guess that's why jd is holding out? but does he realize a lot of these teams don't have/aren't going spend til next off-season I guess for him maybe do a 1 yr 15-20 mil deal and try to hit fa next yr.
  7. Christian Yelich's agent told Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com on Tuesday that his client's relationship with the Marlins is "irretrievably broken." Yelich expressed surprise and disappointment last month when the Marlins moved Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna, and now his trade request has become more of a trade demand. "The relationship between player and team is irretrievably broken," the agent, Joe Longo, said Tuesday. "It's soured. He's part of the old ownership regime. The new ownership regime needs to get new parts into this plan and move forward, and he needs to get on with his caree
  8. very nicely done, it shows you took your time. my only complaint about the mock is trading with the eagles they don't have a 2(wentz deal) or 3(the bills trade before the season), I don't think they would trade up. it prob be more realistic if it was the Pats trading up since they got the extra 2 from the 9ers.
  9. .@Nationals, OF Howie Kendrick agree to 2-year deal, pending physical, @Feinsand reports. Free agent Howie Kendrick in agreement with #Nationals on two-year, $7M contract. Deal is pending physical. First reported: @BNightengale.
  10. #Brewers continue to be “in” on RHP Jake Arrieta & also 3B Michael Moustakas with the idea that if they signed Moustakas they could trade Travis Shaw to NYY, ATL or NYM according to a club source. don't know why the brews would sign Moustakas if they already have a 3rd basemen making min in Shaw?
  11. Maikel Franco avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.95 million contract. Cameron Rupp avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.05 million contract. Luis Garcia avoid arbitration, agree on salary of $1.2 million for 2018
  12. since its still slow, those are the big names so far #BlueJays and Josh Donaldson avoid arbitration, settle at $23 million, per source Rockies and OF Charlie Blackmon avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $14 million contract
  13. Its been pretty borning at this point. hopefully things change soon
  14. I could get on board with this... my only issue is DC. im starting want Greg Schiano as our DC.
  15. how about Greg Schiano for D cord if we go with Vrabel as hc.. also heard Matt Patricia still may be in play for us.
  16. https://www.fanragsports.com/heyman-red-sox-and-jd-martinez-remain-in-stalemate/ People close to free agent slugger J.D. Martinez believe he is willing to "hold out certainly into spring training," per Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. Martinez and his agent Scott Boras want a seven-year contract worth between $180 million and $210 million, but his best offers right now are reportedly for five years and between $120-150 million. One of those five-year offers was made by the Red Sox, who have seemed like the most logical fit for Martinez since the offseason began. Heyman's sources s
  17. I like that signing. I wanted us to sign him last year. For Ziggy if he would do like a 3 yr 25 mil deal that'd be great maybe sign a Beau Allen(eagles) and other depth
  18. I can dig this. my question is who would be the Defensive Coordinator.
  19. with fa's not signing yet maybe they'll drop the price and we sign a lance lynn/cobb(although I heard Cobb turned down 3 yr 42mil from the cubs) type sp 3 yr 45 mil.. I think with mlb having the 2nd wild card we could contend for that this year. also I still think were going to make a move and trade for Yelich. maybe Franco, Williams and Joseph or something. just got a feeling Yelich is going be a Phillie
  20. maybe hopefully this means Fa's are going to start to sign
  21. I wonder what the Astros are giving up
  22. why would the Dbacks do that? I think better bet for Ellsbury is the Giants. The Giants can take salary on I believe.
  23. According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports, the Astros have engaged the Pirates on a potential Gerrit Cole trade. This report comes on the heels of a comment from Astros owner Jim Crane stating that the team expects to add a "high-end starter" before heading to spring training. Cole had been drawing heavy trade interest from the Yankees, but New York has not been able to match up with the Pirates on a deal that makes sense for both sides. Passan says Houston has floated outfielder Derek Fisher in a possible return package for Cole but adds that one of Kyle Tucker or Forrest Whitley -- the A
  24. heard Hosmer is holding out hope for an 8 year contract like Mark Teixeira got. think Boras was Mark's agent as well. hes trying to sell that they are basically like the same type of player
  25. my list lions #1 job(Stafford) #2 raiders(carr) #3 g-men (high pick, still have a pretty good D) #4 cards(d Johnson and that D) #5 Bears- Mitch Trubisky #6 Colts( I have them at 6 cause you have no idea about Luck) (ive seen everything from hes going play next yr - hes going retire) if im going be a 1st time hc and my franchise qb is coming off multi- surgery's (going to Thailand or where ever to get his arm checked out) that's a big red flag.. if luck comes back fully healthy id put them @#2 on the list.
