Time to rest Jimmy until that ankle is completely healed.

I may be wrong .. but I would swear that whitner has always had that take on spoon. For a couple years now. I feel like there was another incident a couple of years ago where that was his take about spoon. Maybe someone else can confirm
I think so well.

Good thing the niners have zero DEs
Seriously, we have no DEs on our roster right now. Everyone that plays "DE" for us a converted T.
Hyder and Armstead have played well.

I watched some of the All 22 today and one thing that stands out is how badly McGlinchey needs more help. Kyle needs to give him some either with Kittle or chipping more to his side with McKinnon. Putting him on an island right now is not a wise decision.

Is Justin Reid struggling?
-
Yeah it has to be Nick.
No punts the entire game. It's been 27 years since that last happened with our franchise.

Guess this binds us to Ford for a little bit longer. But it gives us cap flexibility this year, and even if we don't use the cap space, we can still roll it over into next season
This is also good for Ford because i'm assuming with a SB, he gets the $9.5M right away, right?
I hope it means they could be reconsidering signing Clowney. On a one year deal I think it's worth a shot.

But from all reports he had the second best camp of the CBs, only behind Moseley. Excluding Sherm of course...
I trust Spoon more than I trust Verrett's health is what it boils down to.
Guess those reports weren't accurate. They know Verrett isn't very durable and yet they still were looking to move spoon.

Yea I think the idea of a trade is a little premature. Why anyone would be banking on Verrett staying healthy is beyond me but I'd rather just keep Spoon and let it play out. Sherm is getting older by the minute and who knows when a injury could hit the group. Its going to be a long season (hopefully). Having great depth@CB should be a strength. Don't put the cart before the horse...
That seems to be a hint Witherspoon has had an underwhelming camp.

Non contact injury. Of course.

Seattle gave up way too much.

I'm thinking we could run with Solomon Thomas, re-sign Day, and get Julian Taylor back late in the season. Maybe draft a 3-tech in the middle rounds or sign a FA too. Run with that this season and see if Thomas is actually worth his cap hit. If not, he's off the roster next offseason and could invest more heavily in the position.
They could try this but I don't think it's going to work out well. Solly struggles against the run inside because he's undersized and Day is average at best.

I know we're gonna see wr being mocked to us at pick 13 until sign a wr in FA. My thought is we can add DL/OL there and wait on wr. I'm a huge Lamb guy and wouldn't be mad if we took him but also know this wr class is deep.
Now that I can dream big me thinks Javon Kinlaw is gonna get some love from me.
I'm very nervous about who's going to be our 3tech. Kinlaw would certainly calm those nerves.

Bill O'Brien lol

Mahomes mobility was really the difference. His ability to extend plays eventually wore us down.
Not taking a shot at Jimmy but I wish we had a QB that was more mobile.

I meant overall receiving game.
Catching is an odd way of phrasing that notion.

I'm fairly certain he doesn't literally mean catching, but the overall receiving game.
He can speak for himself.

Cool.
Then how is he better at catching?

Kelce is better at catching than Kittle.
Kittle is better at blocking than Kelce.
Kelce is a stud.
Kittle fell down the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Kelce actually has more drops than Kittle.

Breida has been really good as well........Well, he was until he started fumbling vs ATL and then after that he's been in the dog house.
Definitely better than Coleman. Mostert is a natural in this system. Dude just glides out there and is super explosive.
Shanny will lose Breida this offseason and just get another UDFA and plug him right in.
Breida will be a cheap to retain because he's a restricted FA. I don't think it's a given he'll be let go.

I never wanted to make the change. Moseley is also a lot better as a tackler.

I do agree we're in shotgun too much.

He ran for 101 yds on 16 carries.
So yeah.. he ran through our "elite" defense... sad to say.
Held Ingram under 4 yards a carry though. You're not going to shut down every thing against their offense.
