  1. Me too, didn't like the kid because of the stories surrounding him his last year of college. He seems to be changing his life around though. Dear Jameis: Please be good. That is all! Your pal voodoo
  2. Yes, we need life in here. I'm in England so time difference plays a role in my lack of posting. Sorry
  3. Hopefully the Ohio State connection helps to shrink MT's knoggin' 😄
  4. Get picks and solid youngish depth in key spots for MT. Hope when he does come back, he plays lights out so we can buy the bank when we trade him 😄
  5. I'm curious to see Tre'Quan in the WR corps.
  6. 18 weeks, 17 games = no way to get .500 😄
  7. I'd be happy with a wild card spot and absolutely trilled with a division title.
  8. I'm with Dome on this one... build the surrounding cast a bit more on both sides of the ball. Just bloody give JW the chance, I think he'll pleasantly surprise a lot of folks. Jones is good? Yes. Is he worth both a 1st and 3rd for each of the next 2 years? IMO, no.
  9. Step in the right direction #Loodoo
  10. the Big Goo Guy is back in black and gold, well played 😀
  11. I am glad to get away from those two unreliable TEs, TBH. Think we have something special in "trout-man'".
  12. The Terron Armstead one only. He's injury prone and I believe RR came move over with ease.
  13. Having now read all the posts, I'm gonna add this to the mix... my two pence as it were... lol I think having Winston starting 2021 will benefit both he and MT. With Kamara and company to set up big plays and what not, then add Taysom to the mix and you have on badass offense. The key to the defense, IMO, is retaining Hendrickson. The new DB coach is an instant improvement... period. Saints in 2021, 12-4 or better.
  14. As much as Brees did for New Orleans as a whole... I tend to agree with ya here Mookie. Don't get me wrong, I love Brees (did ever since I met him at Purdue) as a player and motivator. He's a class act but for some odd reason he allowed the playoffs to be his nemesis.
  15. Ok yeah I hear you guys about Brees. I think he'd be an amazing coach and why not start building the resume with Sean Payton (who will be a HoF coach) Perhaps more dream than reality, sure... but man wouldn't it be fun to watch.
  16. QBs coach... as I been saying... Drew Brees!!
  17. Yeah Loomis! And Brees too though. The guy is a class act. Now we need Breesy to become QBs coach for NOLA!!
  18. Good point Worm, what would it cost to "fix" things in your scenario though? Is their such a QB in mid-rounds to fit the mold the Saints hold dear? I still say talk to Drew Brees about becoming a QBs coach, roll with Winston... I believe you're allowing Winston's bad tape under a "less than mediocre" coaching staff dictate how you view this kid. I say give Winston the chance because if you put Hill starting under center that's what he'll demand even though his upside is much higher as a gadget player.
  19. So, basically you're talking about another possible Garrett Grayson scenario with mid-tier back-up?
  20. @whodatworm23 I'm leaning more with @Mid Iowa on this one. I think JW will impress all of us. I'd seriously explore the possibility of Drew Brees as QB coach if Lombardi leaves.
  21. I haven't read every post but I think if Lombardi leaves, here's a question : Can Drew Brees become the new QB coach?
  22. I actually doubt the Saints even consider drafting a QB and look to FA. For some funny reason, I think Wentz get let go and SP salivates at the prospect of resurrecting the young-ish QB's career. That's best case scenario as far as I see it though. As previously mentioned, we will have too many holes to fill. I think of all the personnel due to leave at the end of this season, Hendrickson is the front runner to stay. With that said, my second most likely scenario is Winston comes back and competes for the QB position on an equal playing field with Taysom Hill. And, I would be willing
  23. Think its kind of a smokes and mirrors move to be honest. Think about it... game planning for Taysom Hill is tedious and frankly defenses still don't know how to plan against us when he's in. Will be interesting for sure. I expect to see both used to be fair.
