Tipp graded out better at LG, hes just too tall to be a full time c.

Too tall? Wasn't he drafted to be the future C? Pre/post draft I kept hearing about how he could be a potential franchise center.

It's not really a big deal if he is a guard instead though since I'd prefer a veteran at center since they are supposed to be making line calls.

I mean, I imagine every player would want that list of things lol. Good luck finding all that in one spot, though.

    Lol, right.

I want the most money possible and the best situation possible... Typically there's a bit of a negotiation there. More money or better setup.

Cushenberry for Center, Tippman to LG, Onenwu for RT, AVT RG and land faushanu or Alt for LT.

Any particular reason to have cush at c and tipp at lg?

I'd be happy with this line. Still need to round out the depth though

I love this proposal. Week 10 would be best IMO..

I vote for the end of the week that has the final bye week. I think that's week 14 I feel like it really lets teams be buyers or sellers and put everyone on equal footing with regard to games remaining.

  5. In what world would anyone want Joe Flacco back on this team? That's a hard pass for me. The dude is OLD. Beyond that though, he is immobile, has zero pocket presence and throws picks like candy. There is virtually zero upside to having that dude in the room. Bring him back as a QB coach if you want him to mentor, not a player.

Zach Wilson shouldn't be back on this roster and i'd still take him over Joe.

As for offensive lineman, I think we are looking at some serious issues regardless of who we sign or draft. Our OLine coach is trash. Dude even gets called out as trash by players from his former team. Ideally, Tippman, AVT, and Warren should be able to play somewhere on the line. Mitchell is probably a backup. Warren may be too but I don't think we can realistically hope to clean house there. Draft an LT in the first. AVT at LG to help him out. Tippman at center. RG is where I'd like to start Warren. Sign Tyron Smith or Onwemu to play RT.

I do hope we can get M.Evans to sign a deal at a below market rate to play with Hall,Wilson and Rodgers but I'm not convinced he'd take it.

  6. Honestly, the only real way out of this mess for the WWE now may well be to have Cody vs reigns at EC. Have solo/jimmy about to interfere but Rock comes out and tells him/them that he, as the true head of the table demands they stand down. Cody then wins. Priest cashes in stealing the belt, setting up Cody priest at mania. While rock and reigns go head to head. Reigns loses, embarrassed, takes his break from rasslin.

Haven’t felt bad for a wrestler in a long time for what happened on screen, They torpedoed Cody . Anytime he brings up ‘the story’ he’s going to get laughed at. They told the world he’s not a star like Rock or Roman, and like others say he looks like a cuck. I really hope he can turn it around, but that’s going to take time.

Time and time again WWE proves you can’t get invested in their guys because they’ll make them look less than later.

Agreed. No way around it. They booked Cody to look like a complete chump.

    Such a shame.

Watch them have Reigns go over rock at mania too.

I'm not sure about high bust rate. I can probably think of more TEs who did what they're expected to do based on the rounds they were picked than I can name actual busts.

Throughout history, 4-5 years seems like the average but I think that's expanding because of the rules. Sometimes you come across Antonio Gates, Jason Witten, and others who can give you closer to 10 years of good play.

I'm not saying use a top-10 pick on a TE or anything, I'm just saying a lot of the consistent high performing teams often have a good TE. Focusing on TE development is well worth it, imo.

When Manning threw for 55tds, Julius Thomas had 12. When Brees threw for 46, he had Graham. When Brady won the SB with the Buccs, he had a retired version of Gronk who still almost hit 1,000 yards. Mahomes has Kelce. I can go on and on, but I think the TE position is a little more important that most people are thinking.

    Tight Ends

Year No. Round Pick Player Name Team College

    2023

    1 1 25 25 Dalton Kincaid Bills Utah

      2 2 3 34 Sam LaPorta Lions Iowa

      3 2 4 35 Michael Mayer Raiders Notre Dame

      4 2 11 42 Luke Musgrave Packers Oregon State

      5 2 27 58 Luke Schoonmaker Cowboys Michigan

      6 2 30 61 Brenton Strange Jaguars Penn State

7 3 15 78 Tucker Kraft Packers South Dakota State

      8 3 30 93 Darnell Washington Steelers Georgia

      9 3 38 101 Cameron Latu 49ers Alabama

Too early to tell on most of these but I'll give you LaPorta in the 2nd.

    2022

    1 2 23 55 Trey McBride Cardinals Colorado State

      2 3 9 73 Jelani Woods Colts Virginia

      3 3 16 80 Greg Dulcich Broncos UCLA

      4 3 37 101 Jeremy Ruckert Jets Ohio State

None of these guys lived up to their draft slots yet.

    2021

    1 1 4 4 Kyle Pitts Falcons Florida

      2 2 23 55 Pat Freiermuth Steelers Penn State

      3 3 17 81 Hunter Long Dolphins Boston College

      4 3 19 83 Tommy Tremble Panthers Notre Dame

Pitts has a good rookie year then did nothing. A pile of meh here.

    2020

    1 2 11 43 Cole Kmet Bears Notre Dame

      2 3 27 91 Devin Asiasi Patriots UCLA

      3 3 30 94 Josiah Deguara Packers Cincinnati

      4 3 37 101 Dalton Keene Patriots Virginia Tech

      5 3 41 105 Adam Trautman Saints Dayton

None of the tes drafted in the first three rounds did anything noteworthy.

    2019

    1 1 8 8 T.J. Hockenson Lions Iowa

      2 1 20 20 Noah Fant Broncos Iowa

      3 2 18 50 Irv Smith Vikings Alabama

      4 2 20 52 Drew Sample Bengals Washington

5 3 5 69 Josh Oliver Jaguars San Jose State

      6 3 11 75 Jace Sternberger Packers Texas A&M

7 3 22 86 Kahale Warring Texans San Diego State

      8 3 32 96 Dawson Knox Bills Mississippi

T.j. hockenson has played well but isn't nearly the "next gronk" that he was billed as. The lions even traded him to a divisional foe.

Knox is probably the best te in the draft.

    2018

    1 1 25 25 Hayden Hurst Ravens South Carolina

      2 2 10 42 Mike Gesicki Dolphins Penn State

3 2 17 49 Dallas Goedert Eagles South Dakota State

      4 3 22 86 Mark Andrews Ravens Oklahoma

      5 3 34 98 Jordan Akins Texans Central Florida

Mark Andrews in the third is the only guy here that really made a difference. Geisiki could have been a guy but apparently not so much, seeing how little interest the league has in him when the phins let him walk.

      2017

    1 1 19 19 O.J. Howard Buccaneers Alabama

      2 1 23 23 Evan Engram Giants Mississippi

      3 1 29 29 David Njoku Browns Miami (FL)

      4 2 12 44 Gerald Everett Rams South Alabama

      5 2 13 45 Adam Shaheen Bears Ashland

      6 3 36 100 Jonnu Smith Titans Florida International

Njoku in the third was good. ...

Moral of the story. Don't draft TEs earlier than the third round. Just take shots on athletic prospects later.

Also, the anecdote about tes having good stats on prolific teams is very much a chicken/egg situation. Players in production offenses out up bigger stats. Did the te production cause the offense to be productive or did the dangerous offense give more opportunities for the test to generate stats?

Watching CNBC and Gronk appeared.  He talked about his partnership with Fan duel, but he was asked which TE would he pick out of Kittle and Kelce. He said Kelce is the GOAT but Kittle is the most complete TE in the game. Even brought up Kittle pancaking Hutchinson.  Then he mentioned how important it is to have a great TE in recent years. Of course the rest of the team has to be good, but it's a interesting point.

    Lions/LaPorta, 49ers/Kittle, Chiefs/Kelce, and Ravens/Andrews+Likely.

Then you think of the TEs who were a part of high offenses and winning teams like Sharpe, Gronk, Graham, and others. I think Conklin is better than his stats show, but I'm looking at the position differently.

A good TE can be a matchup nightmare but it's also a high bust rate position that requires a ton of post draft development to do well.

A true stud TE that actually pans out only seems to happen every 4-5 years.

I'm also not surprised that a HOF tight end values the position highly.

Lions would still be down even if they had those 6 points.  Maybe the game changes but the Lions defense got manhandled this 2nd half.  That is why they will lose, not because Campbell was aggressive.

I disagree with him going for it but I don't think the game came down to it.  49ers offense is that much more talented than the Lions and it showed after halftime

Lions would be down, sure, if you don't factor in momentum.

But also, they'd be in position right now, to go and win the game on this drive.

  11. Not a great look from HHH. Makes me wonder if he will end up getting swept out with Vince. I get not wanting to say anything bad about your father in law and I also understand that Vince is innocent until proven guilty. Plus there's the part where, somehow, Vince has survived allegations like this in the past and has comeback to go scorched earth on folks that didn't side with him. Its a mess. Still, despite all that, Hunter would have been much better off with a " due to legal ramifications we can't speak on that" and then swung back into a sales push about how great the week has been for the talent.

  12. My instant reaction to the rumble ppv is that, on the whole, it was good.

Having Jordyn Grave come in with the impact belt and look strong was great. I used to see her at local Indy shows so it's really great to see just how far she's come and how much more explosive and quick she has gotten since her body transformation. Really impressive.

Not having Jade win right away was nice. She's got the looks but is super green(though not Maxine Dupree green) jade has some real highlights spots and eliminating Jax after they spent the entire match making jax look unstoppable was great.

I thought that bailey winning was right. She deserves it and I wouldn't mind her transitioning to face by mania so she can bask in a cheered and deserved run. I did think the early teases with her and aska really locked any sort of payoff(though im sure it's coming)

I did not like the 4way booking. Why have solo interfere only to make the match get drawn out and give reigns a fairly clean win. It makes the other three look like chumps. How many consecutive title defenses has reigns bow won by having solo interfere? And none of Styles, Orton or knight did anything to prepare for it? It's bad booking.  I can only assume that there was some last minute rewrites since maybe the rock backed out now that the strike is over. It would also line up with Cody getting the rumble win.

I don't mind Owens losing by dq, except that again, he looks like an idiot. I'd have preferred if Paul did the Eddie Guerrero and pretend to be knocked out and tossing the knucks on the ground. I imagine this sets up some kind of no dq match at elimination chamber or mania. That's fine. Don't love a part timer holding a belt though.

As others have said green and truths comedy spots were great.

Men's rumble had an obvious final four which is a bit unfortunate. On the flip side though, it was nice that any of the final four could have won and it would have worked in some fashion. Drew or Cody would be vs reigns or punk/Gunther would have gone Rollins and they could sort out the other at elimination chamber. Would have liked a little more of a surprise at thirty as Zayn was never winning. Was that going to be the rocks spot?

I liked the smaller card. It's a long show as is. I don't feel the need for extra filter matches. I wonder if, now that it's under the ufc umbrella they are going to try and get closer to the UFC format of get matches but making them seem like a bigger deal.
