  1. Possibilities for new coaches

In the last 10 years we have tried them all. Young Coordinator = Raheem, was too young and wasn't ready to be a head coach if at all Retread = Lovie Smith was way past his prime and once he couldn't get his DC from Dallas (wanted Merinelli but was blocked from doing so) along with epic fails at offensive coordinator and at his free agents (thanks Jason) led to that ending poorly Offensive Mind = Dirk Kotter a coach that actually had failed as a HC in college at Arizona State and probably is better served being a lifelong coordinator (similar to soon to be fired Todd Bowles). I just want the bad stink that we have on this franchise to vacate. Not sure where to go, unless you're going to Minnesota and taking DeFilipo who could have his choice of teams if the Vikings finish out strong
  2. Possibilities for new coaches

Jason is also on the chopping block as well. I agree with what you said in another forum. This needs to be a complete clean house done from the coaches to the FO.
  3. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

Never rooted for Florida State a day in my life. Just because someone doesn't like Mariota or never thought much of them doesn't mean they love Florida State.... Come on son I just think Koetter bombed as a coach, I have said on multiple forms that I'm done with Winston but most QBs fail because of the situation. And Dirk didn't do much to help his indoctrination to the NFL. It's time to move on from both
  4. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

Jameis failed because he was not put in a situation to succeed. If you don't recall I will bring you back to Jameis rookie year where the master mind that is Dirk Koetter gave his rookie QB who had no QB Coach and a "mentor" in Mike Glennon to give Winston the entire playbook to try and digest early on. Most young QBs have either a mentor or QB Coach AND aren't given the entire playbook to try and digest as they learn the league. The biggest idictment as you say is that Dirk had to teach the stupid out of Jameis. You know whose job that should be, his position coach who to this point has done little to instil any confidence to the point that QB has to go to his Head Coach not position coach to find out how to correct mistakes. The whole process was a system failure with the bulk of the blame being on Jameis, but Koetter was hired for the development of Winston, which the QB has regressed since being under Dirk's eye. That's why I said what I said
  5. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

100% is execution. Winston has the mental acumen (at least what's been sold to us) and the physical tools of an elite QB, but has the execution skills of a toddler trying to use the toilet for the first time.
  6. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

Dirk made his bed with Fitz. His initial hiring was based on developing Winston which at this point has been a failure. Once he went to Fitz he is stating that he failed at his initial goal which was to develop Jameis (which isn't all his fault, but he did have a hand in) his only other choice was to win. Which he hasn't done so far. Thats a recipe for an instant firing
  7. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

How is the Redskins can pull guys off the street and they act like fort Knox.... Bill Callahan. I hope our next coach finds a way to bring him in as well (if we need to make him an OC so be it) that offensive line was crazy
  8. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

Honestly, we have to show some semblance of a consistent fast start on offense. We haven't shown any semblance of consistency in our starts since Week 1
  9. 🏈 Week 10: Bucs (3-5) @ Redskins (5-3)

Agreed 1000% you have to win the battle up front, but the second level guys need to be better at reading the gaps filling them properly.
  10. Possibilities for new coaches

Yeah but we always go with the wrong types of styles: the wrong retreads (Lovie) the only average college coach (Schiano),the unimaginative OC (Kotter) and the cheap hire (who was probably 5 years too Early) (Rah Rah) for once I would like to get the right coach and the right prospects. I think the Browns and Giants got it right last year with their GM hires while Jason has been more miss than hit
  11. ? Week 9: Bucs (3-4) @ Panthers (5-2)

Not to sound like a James homer, but in his second year at FSU, he was asked to carry a team which could have hurt his growth. His negative behavior wasnt corrected in school because he (individually) was talented to the point that come back in games himself. That confidence was evident even up to this season that he felt he could always come back. This isn't true in the NFL which was hammered in his head to the point that last week he looked like a QB that didn't want to be on the field. Speaking of Dirk Kotter not forget that Matt Ryan didn't have his best year until they got Kyle Shanahan, and that Koetter was able to work directly with Ryan during his time. He also was able to have a real veteran back up as a mentor in Matt Schaub while he was developing as a young QB. Who was Winston's mentor when he first got here, Mike Glennon (who was a young QB that still hasn't figured out the league) and Ryan Fitzpatrick, a QB that has stated that he would not be interested in helping out a young QB. Has Winston done himself any favors not really, but there also was an organizational failure from the time he was first drafted.
  12. ? Week 9: Bucs (3-4) @ Panthers (5-2)

Until you lose the locker room or you are completely out of contention, this is the decision you have to make. But I asked this before to Ira on Joe Bucs Fan. Will Winston's failure cost Dirk his job? Because Dirk's hiring was directly related to the development of Winston and he has somewhat regressed/stayed stagnant.
  13. ? Week 9: Bucs (3-4) @ Panthers (5-2)

We have to lead the league in fake comebacks. I mean these have been going on since Josh Freeman. But really this thing needs to be blown up at the end of the season. Too many holes on the defense and too much money on the skill positions on offense without the consistency at QB.
  14. QB of the Future

There isn't one. This reminds me too much of 2013. It's a two year wait and even those guys (Sans Tua) are bit of question marks
