  1. Not last night at least. Mahomes is amazing and can overcome it sometimes, but it just didn't come together last night.
  2. Gravedigging this post - i had a rental car yesterday that had this feature. First time i've ever had it. While it was accurate probably 95% of the time while on the highway, i had to turn it off for particular stretches: construction zones - the mashup of painted over lines, transitioning pavements, and narrow lanes made it really scary. It actually pulled me dangerously closer to a semi in a particularly narrow spot, which really got me white knuckling the wheel. wet pavement - it had snowed recently, so there were lots of salt lines, and wet/dry pavement lines. That seemed t
  3. Listening to a few different podcasts, i'm getting the impression that Sewell will likely be there at 5. i'm also getting the impression that the Bengals taking him there may not be anywhere close to a lock.
  4. I still love AJ, and he should be inducted into the Ring of Honor whenever the Bengals decide to do one. But man, he's either washed up or phoned in the 2020 season.
  5. I think we're generally on the same page though. I don't really care who the player is. I want the guy that most improves the team. Idk anything about Chase, or any prospect really. I'm good with whoever.
  6. Sure, but you don't always have the luxury of taking the perfect player for the perfect offense. 21 yo Gronk would be better for this offense, but if that guy isn't there at #5, you take the guy who most improves the team. If that's a WR, so be it.
  7. I agree there'd be a role for another WR on this team. In today's NFL, it's easy to spread targets to 3 great WR's if you have them. Especially when you don't have a TE that can catch well, or don't plan on throwing the RB's much. Sounds a lot like the Bengals. I could definitely see a Bengals offense with Higgins, Boyd and Chase having three 1000 yard receivers. That's massive value if you ask me. On the flip side, i can't see this offense having 3 1000 yard receivers by rolling out one of the guys already on the roster as the 3. Or anyone in FA.
  8. I think you can do it. A long straight edge clamped to the workpiece will do most of the work for you. Just let that circular saw ride along it.
  9. You can do a lot with a chisel and patience, if you really want. However, I'd probably go for a tapered leg, using a long straight edge and some clamps for a guide with the circ saw. You can sand the edges to soften them. A tapered leg is a nice touch and gives it less of a crude feeling. And should be more easily achievable than anything else you'd be doing with your tools. I'd use 8/4 (2"x1") stock though, not 4x4. Unless you want to double taper it. The 4x4 with a single taper will still look a little blocky, imo. This is what i typically do with legs, since i don't hav
  10. What tools do you have at your disposal? That will dictate what you can do. If you just a table or circular saw, you could do tapered legs from 8/4 stock. If you've got a lathe, you can make a more traditional leg from 4x4 stock. Also, how finished is this going to look? Is this just function, or are going for furniture quality build?
  11. Right out of a catalog. Nicely done. Also, point of fact, there's always a duct in your way when you open up a wall. 😂
  12. I'm learning a lot about septic systems!
  13. Makes sense. So it's used more in areas where real estate is at a premium?
  14. Haha you're correct, i was very pleased.
  15. Didn't see this earlier. Solids stay in the tank. Liquids are filtered my mother earth. Has to be pumped every couple of years. Yeah leach fields grow the best stuff.
  16. Ah interesting. My tank has a weir and overflows the liquid into the septic field, while the solids stay in the tank. The solid have to be pumped out every few years like you said, but the pump is on the truck itself. The whole system is gravity. Is your septic field uphill or something?
  17. There's a lot of chicken/egg in this argument. Not saying you're wrong, but it'd be hard to tease out what @SmittyBacall is saying vs. what you're saying.
  18. I was happy to see this too. Thought he did a good job with what he had when he was around. This is a solid second place trophy for whiffing bad on the opportunity to bring in Callahan last year.
  19. My septic tank doesn't have a pump. It's all gravity. Why does your have a pump? What function does it serve?
  20. That's one possibility. My thoughts were a little disjointed when i posted this. Let me clear it up. Talking coordinators - they absolutely weren't going to get any future HC candidates to take that job this year. That would be a huge risk to potentially set their career back a few years. So keeping the coordinators probably made sense, if you're committed to Zac, because you know you're not doing better there. For positional coaches, any prior HC's probably aren't harmed by taking a job. It is a risk, because in likelihood, it is a one and done. So you better have a great unit
  21. I got mine a few days ago. Amount looks correct.
  22. I doubt many want to come to Cincy at the moment. Not until Taylor is gone. It's basically asking for a 1 and done.
  23. Haha yeah right. They would likely literally turn down a trade that was 5 and Hart for 3 (Sewell). So no, we can't expect them to trade up.
