  1. Raheem Mostert Requests a trade

If memory serves, it seems like we initially gave him a 1 year deal then we agreed to a 3 year extension shortly after.

Njoku wants a trade Mostert wants a trade... let’s make a deal.

@Forge beat me to it. I would take Lawrence in that situation. It would take a lot to move down IMO if TL was sitting in our laps.

Reading this made me think of the draft next year if there is no football. To be very clear, I want there to be football this fall, but how cool would it be if they just had a 32 team lottery since the season wasn't played and we got the 1st overall pick?
  5. Around the NFL III - The NFLiest Yet

Someone had to take Goodwin’s spot haha. I would say Pettis earned it off of last years performance, but the book isn’t closed on him either.

For sure. I wouldn’t give up a ton for him, but there is definitely upside with him imo. He’s super athletic for a guy his size and if I remember right he was super young when he declared, so he’s most likely physically matured some since coming out. I haven’t followed his career much since he was drafted by Cleveland but I do remember really liking his upside coming out of Miami. I know he was banged up last year, but the idea of having another athletic freak at TE on the field with George is super attractive to me. Like I said before, I haven’t completely give up hope on Pettis, but that is something I would at least listen to if the Browns had interest.

I’d love this if we could swing it financially. It’d be really cool having two receiving threats at TE out there with Shanny drawing up plays.

Yeah, not saying he’d come in and be the same guy at his peak in Dallas, but I’m pretty confident that he could come in and be a solid role player for us. We had pretty good luck with Anquan as a mid 30s player who didn’t do much separating. The Q example may not be the greatest as that was not this staff and Kyle does really value receivers who can get open. Idk I won’t be tore up either way, just a thought since it was circling a bit on the internet.

Reason I brought it up was the talk swirling around after KB tweeted at him. I can’t imagine he’d cost a lot at this point and he would easily be an upgrade over Benjamin. We also have uncertainty with Trent Taylor, Jalen Hurd, and Dante Pettis. Deebo is hurt and Aiyuk is a rookie in an offense that is apparently very taxing to learn, especially for a rookie. I’m not necessarily lobbying for it, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it at the right price. I think Dez would definitely be an upgrade over some of the other guys on our roster.

What’s the opinion of bringing in Dez Bryant around here. I think he could be a real asset to this team if he was cheap enough.
  11. Deebo Samuel Suffers Broken Foot

I didn’t really care for the pick to begin with. I think I took Isaiah Oliver in our mock draft game, but Chark was my favorite receiver with Sutton right there with him in that class (which sucks because I believe if we had stayed put we could have got him and not have wasted the draft capital we used to go up for Pettis). All that being said, I was pleasantly surprised with how Pettis played his rookie year and do think that he has the necessary skills to be a good player still. The only thing that worries me with Pettis is his mentality and how he plays: the dude just seems soft and almost afraid out there. My opinion on him is that we already made the investment, so we are basically playing with house money at this point. I wouldn’t be shocked if he regained the form from the end of his rookie year but I’m certainly not counting on it.
  12. Deebo Samuel suffered broken foot

It was the same injury at Taylor had last year. The difference is that Taylor's first surgery didn't work and they went in again to fix it and then he got an infection. Fingers crossed that Deebo's recovery goes better.

Spot on my dude. He could have been orange and still treated like he was and deserved to be treated.

God T.O. is such a dumb ****. Good football player, but probably has an IQ if like 3. I don’t know Mooch personally, but he is the last person I would think is racist. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2896022-terrell-owens-says-he-experienced-systemic-racism-with-49ers-steve-mariucci
