  1. If the Astros can do to Strasburg what they did to Scherzer last night I think they take tonight's game. At some point they have to be able to hit with RISP though, it is unbelievable how much they have been pressing in these situations (main culprits are Bregman and Correa).
  2. 0-1 strike call 4 inches off the plate, then Brantley's xBA of .500 doesn't land. Tough luck tonight combined with poor situational hitting for the bats.
  3. So many center cut fastballs that Breg and Yordan have fouled off these last 7 games. Just missed opportunities all over the place.
  4. Correa has been horrific at the plate tonight. Main culprit.
  5. Man they haven't challenged Soto inside at all and I am baffled, don't understand at all. Difference in the game thus far is the Astros inability to hit with RISP. Has been the storyline all postseason.
  6. Missing catcher's interference in the World Series is unacceptable.
  7. G has been fine. One bad pitch to Zimmerman, Soto's HR was just good hitting (although I would say don't throw him high cheese).
  8. He falls behind 0-2 at an alarming rate. Watches the first pitch almost every AB.
  9. The most stupid. Your #2 hitter is trying to bunt instead of swinging the stick... not great!
  10. That's a bad contract the minute it is signed.
  11. I'm going to be interested to see how the Astros attack Rendon and Soto. I feel pretty confident in the matchups against the rest of their hitters.
  12. Almost everyone talked about the Yankees bullpen as a significant advantage over the Astros'.
  13. It's about time to give the Astros bullpen some credit. They were just as good as the 'vaunted' Yankees bullpen in this series and were also good all year. It isn't a weakness in the slightest.
  14. Best player in franchise history, hands down. Statue.
