You can also still get a sense on if their timed athleticism matches their on field play speed. Speaking of which, after seeing Xavier McKinney’s RAS, I think Kinchens is still a great prospect
-
I agree. I think Dillon will most likely end up being a vet who sticks around for 2-3 years on the practice squad. Good guy to have around in the locker room
-
Update: Jones thought he was gonna get Derrick Henry’s deal IMO
-
The reports are the staff like Emanuel Wilson. I don’t think they will take a RB high. I think Wilson has big upside too
-
I was implying he thought he would get a 2 year deal, say for 14-16m, with the likelihood of getting at least 10m out of it. So in his mind, leaving GB would give him a shot at another 4.5+ million in career earnings. Understandable to walk in those circumstances. Turns out the market wasn’t there though.
-
Not sure he had that chance. Jones and his agent messed up IMO. Probably thought he could get 10+ over 2 years
-
Is there any word on if the Packers ever entertained having Jacobs and Jones? Because it seems unlikely Jones will get much more on the open market then what that pay cut with GB would get him

I want Lavonte David

Wilson is the best candidate IMO. Then Babich -
Weird quote

Why wouldn’t you take a 3 score 2nd half lead when you’re able to the run the ball down their throats? The first one made the least sense
-
I think a lot of coaches would be fired for this as well

He should have been aggressive much sooner that drive. Allowing high percentage underneath throws in a 4 down situation against a team like that? Bad odds -
Agreed, they at least 2 new guys for safety/slot corner. I like Nixon too, but they need options. Anyone starting to think outside corner isn’t as premium as it used to be? As long as they are athletic and can run with the receiver? QBs don’t throw as many contested balls, teams play a lot of zone, guys are schemed open all over the field. Seems like versatile inside players are the new premium. I love that Gute accumulates all these high RAS CBs on the PS, Ballentine being one of them.

I didn’t like the rushed snap to sneak. I like the sneak, but if you’re gonna rush up, survey your options first -
2024 Season a look ahead to off season moves

I doubt the Packers spend money on RB, especially when they bring Jones back. Wilson has potential, and so will whoever they select in the draft this year. A safety acquisition seems likely though. That’s where they need to spend the money. There are some veteran LBs available, but I would take a couple in the draft and resign McDuffie. -
Joe Barry HAS Been Fired, Who Do You Want Next?
LacyIsGood replied to Brit Pack's topic in Green Bay Packers
I think Tampa would have been tougher for GB than Detroit if they advanced. Back to Barry…I think he needed to be more aggressive on that last drive. Go win the game, or make sure the offense has time to respond. They were getting stops for awhile playing off, but of course the offense would adjust. He needs to stay a step ahead -
It makes more sense to roll that money into a couple veteran acquisitions at ILB and Safety this off-season.

Deebo also got injured on the 1st drive -
He’s good enough to start though. Also I wonder what plan is for Caleb Jones and Luke Tenuta? They’ve been stashed for 2 years. They gotta be doing something right then
-
If Bahk is back, then Walker to RT and Tom to RG? Tom had a great year, but those elite movements skills could also help inside

I agree, and I think fans tend to overlook this. I also agree with LaFleur that constantly firing coaches sets a bad precedent. That said, this year appears to have some guys available -

I don’t think Barry is as bad as he can be made out to be. But you want to be trying to get better, so I think it’s time for a change -

I agree. It’s time to retool for a dynasty run -
For sure, but if they were playing off a bit more in the 2 minute, I think they could have thrown underneath to try for some YAC
