  1. Mayweather vs McGregor

Mayweather may be 50-0, as a result of a 10th round TKO of McGregor, but you have got to give McGregor credit for giving Mayweather all he could handle. It may have been McGregor's first boxing match, but he gave Mayweather trouble over the first five rounds.
  2. History of torn ACL injuries

I have to admit that a lot of progress has been made on how to treat these kinds of injuries, but they still occur not only in football, but basketball, baseball, professional wrestling, and hockey (I am not sure if this particular injury has happened in the National Lacrosse League or even Major League Lacrosse).
  3. History of torn ACL injuries

    Makes sense
  4. Mayweather vs McGregor

I have never heard anything about Floyd Mayweather, Jr. sustaining a broken hand during the course of his boxing career, but if he did break his hand during the bout against McGregor, it could be an opportunity for McGregor to really inflict some serious bodily damage to Mayweather - which could result in either a knockout, a TKO, or the referee stops the fight. Mayweather would wind up losing his first career bout but still make a huge payday. McGregor would make a sizable payday for himself.
  5. Mayweather vs McGregor

For those of you who have attended boxing cards, the general admission seats for boxing matches are cheaper than seats at ringside. I went to a boxing card at the DC Armory and paid $20 for a general admission seat (ringside seats went for $60). The matches were pretty good, but I will admit that the DC Armory is not the next Caesar's Palace Sports Pavilion.
  6. Arena Bowl XXX - Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia

My prediction - Philadelphia 69, Tampa Bay 63
  7. Arena Bowl XXX takes place on Saturday, August 26 as the defending Arena Bowl champ Philadelphia Soul take on the Tampa Bay Storm. Your prediction?
  8. ~~//~~ Pro Wrestling: Smackdown vs Raw ~~\\~~

You can give Jason credit for holding his own in the six man tag team match with the Hardy Boyz against Miz and the Miztourage. His Angle Slam/neckbreaker combo is awesome and I bet Miz is still feeling the effects of it.
  9. History of torn ACL injuries

    I stand corrected. Thank you.
  10. History of torn ACL injuries

    I would agree.
  11. University of Maryland Thread

For you University of Maryland fanatics, let's get behind our beloved Terrapins as the 2017 college football season gets started. GO MARYLAND!!
  12. History of torn ACL injuries

I have to admit that even if I am not an expert on sports injuries, I have seen how star players (football, baseball, basketball, and hockey) are affected by a torn ACL. Sure, it takes better than a year to rehab from this particular kind of injury (even after undergoing surgery), but there are some who rebound from a torn ACL (or even an MCL or UCL, in addition to a torn ACL) and come back better than ever. Adam Eaton of the Washington Nationals suffered not only a torn ACL, but also a high ankle sprain, during the 2017 MLB season, but will he come back in 2018 better than he did in 2017? All I can honestly say is I hope he does.
  13. Mayweather vs McGregor

I have to admit that like most of you, I have no particular interest in this fight at all. For McGregor to move up from mixed martial arts to boxing is something I never thought would ever happen, but it did. If Floyd Mayweather shows every bit of his 40 years of age, I seriously think he is in big trouble. McGregor may be younger than Mayweather, but I seriously think this boxing match, if you can actually call it one, is going to be a very boring one.
  14. History of torn ACL injuries

    Sounds like a plan
  15. History of torn ACL injuries

Fewer injuries would certainly mean longer NFL careers.
