Dont get the move while McCain may not scream stud, a 34 year old in McCourty who has dramatically lost a step isnt the answer either. Not sure if the guy has any juice left to be on top come week 1 as a starter.

Obviously you don't get the move if you think we signed him to be a starter. He's joining a loaded secondary as veteran depth. We aren't looking for answers in our secondary, we have them already.

Dolphins fans probably know more than me, but 27 years old and only scheduled to make about $1.4 million this year.

Not sure where you got that number but its not accurate. Base salary of 6,375,000 and counted 7,140,400 on the cap next season.

He's a slot corner who was moved to safety due to necessity a few seasons ago. Im sure some team will like him as a veteran and good locker room guy. Was simply overpaid and expendable at this point in time.

  3. Writing was on the wall. Too expensive for a backup role and he was playing out of position at Safety anyways, doubt his body was going to hold up.

Holland, Jones, Rowe, Fejedelem and possibly Hooker is a nice group.

Bobby McCain - Jevon Holland probably going to take his spot and he’s too expensive to be a backup.

Mike Gesicki/Durham Smythe - Both in contract years. I expect at least one of them to leave, possibly both.

Jakeem Grant - WR room is pretty full and he’s 5 or 6 on the depth chart now. His drops won’t be missed.

One down, few more to go

Wasn't he an ace return guy? Gotta think he sticks for that, cheap guys who contribute on ST don't go anywhere - but maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe he was at some point but that's not enough to justify his spot on the roster, not anymore anyways with some additions we've made. He fancies himself as more than a return guy, but he's dropped the ball every time he's been given the opportunity (pun intended). He counts $4,487,500 towards the cap and a post-June 1 cut would only be $600,000 dead money. Hard to pass that up.

His days are pretty much numbered imo.

I thought something like this was coming as soon as I saw him enter wearing those aviator style sunglasses. Hilarious.

He celebrated with his family when he got the call, TV was just late. But it was hilarious in the moment

  9. Needed some pass rush and NFL Network guys saying he's the most talented edge rusher in the draft. Obviously there is the concussion problems but I like this gamble. Prob looking at a RB at 36, possibly need to move up if they don't want to miss out on Najee, Etienne or Williams.

Darlington saying we had Waddle ranked ahead of Chase and Smith. Darlington is pretty connected with the Dolphins.

Rapoport also saying this. We had Waddle ranked only behind Lawrence.
