  1. I don't know if i'd take a fan blog for the Lions as proof tbh. I've seen a blog for KC that said 3PM CT. So I don't know anymore. Edit: https://www.nfl.com/news/2021-nfl-free-agency-glossary-all-the-terms-you-need-to-know Just found it here. It seems like it's noon EST
  2. It doesn't. It starts at 4pm Edit: Maybe I;m wrong. I'm seeing different times
  3. Nothing official until 4PM on March 17th, but teams and player can agree verbally starting today at 4PM
  4. Don't want to look to much into it but this was tweeted 5 minutes after the McKinney - Lawson trade was announced. If there is interest on his part, I can't see us not being interested in him. Pretty obvious that edge is now a big need for us. Upgrading from Roberts to McKinney and then Shaq Lawson to Carl Lawson would be a pretty good start to the offseason. I have great confidence in this management and it feels really good as a Dolphins fan.
  5. Good run stopper, high IQ but pretty poor in coverage from what I can remember. Pretty much a replacement/upgrade for Elandon Roberts. Shaq Lawson was pretty disappointing so not a huge price to pay imo. Also saves us a bit of money.
  6. It feels like there is going to be an absurd amount of talent available in FA with the cap going down. I think for once teams may have the leverage in free agency over the players. We may see cheaper deals than we've been used to in the past. A lot of big names being released around the league
  7. Seems like itโ€™s the end of the Matt Haack era
  8. Agreed I'm on board with Curtis Samuel as well. He makes plays after the catch and we really lack players who can do that. He's a better version of Jakeem Grant.
  9. Cutting Bobby McCain, Jakeem Grant and Clayton Fejedelem and designating them as Post-June 1 cuts would also give us an additional $12.95M in cap space. Approximately
  10. Don't want to look too much into it but I figure this would rule out Sewell at 3. Unless they plan on trading Jackson away or looking to cut a vet. Jackson, Flowers, Davis, Hunt, Kindley, Wilson, possibly Karras, Dieter. If we trade down and Sewell falls, now that's another story.
  11. Not expecting much but at that price itโ€™s definitely worth a shot.
  12. AVG time LB unit looks weak as hell again tho. Gonna need to address that again. Sounding like a broken record
  13. No, we have plenty of cap space and no big FAs to re-sign this year. Pretty sure we are top 7-10 in current cap space. One could assume they are clearing cap space to add a significant piece(s). Don't want to connect dots but it is indeed weird. Van Noy was viewed as the leader on D and was pretty good, so if he's released it wouldn't have anything to do with performance. He's still only 30yo.
  14. This is out of left field. Edit: Keep in mind this doesn't seem to be a done deal. Looks like there are talks ongoing but doubt this would come out if it wasn't a very real possibility. Edit 2: Garafolo confirms below.
  15. AZ is the NFL's retirement home
  16. Please. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ This is hilarious. Also, the '08 Detroit Lions were 0-16 but 16 losses for tank purposes. So technically 0-0
  17. I donโ€™t have much to say other than Winfield taunting Hill was cold. Loved every second of it.
  18. Studesville probably run game coordinator and Godsey passing game coordinator.
  19. Really wish the Lions didn't get a QB back in the Stafford deal.. Would've been a great trading partner for the 3rd pick.
  20. Crazy. Going from living in LA to Detroit gotta be tough lol
