  1. I generally oppose trading up unless it is to acquire a franchise QB. However, there does come a point in the rebuilding process where trading up begins to make sense. And I think Miami is approaching that point.
  2. I'm not giving ANY firsts for AR. The dude is 38 years old, and could quite literally drop off the cliff at any time.
  3. Miami already has what they believe to be a franchise QB on the roster. They aren't going to trade what GB would ask for to get Rogers, who BTW is 38 years old.
  4. And now another NE player is brought in, this time it's in the secondary: https://www.thephinsider.com/2021/5/6/22423810/the-miami-dolphins-signed-jason-mccourty-which-puts-the-amount-of-dbs-they-have-at-eleventy-billion
  5. https://www.thephinsider.com/2021/5/6/22422797/miami-dolphins-release-veteran-safety-team-captain-bobby-mccain-jevon-holland-malik-hooker This is probably just the first move in the secondary.
  6. Just wait until Waddle gets out there with Fuller. Defenses are gonna have a hard time with that combo.
  7. That's acceptable. The going interest rate for 1 year is a round.
  8. Anyone know the details of the Pittsburg trade?
  9. And now actually, thinking back to last April I wasn't enamored with Raekwon Davis, and look how his rookie season went. The Kindly pick was just "ok", and he looked really good at times.
  10. I think that in terms of putting our offense together, the idea that receivers come before RBs has been followed by the FO. They probably would have pulled the trigger on the UNC RB had he been there at #36. But honestly, RB was not a top priority. Next April it probably will be.
  11. Well, I can say round 1 went how I wanted and expected. Round 2 and 3 has been head scratching for me. We got a versatile secondary player, a potential blind side protector, and what appears to be a solid (if not spectacular) pass catching TE. It doesn't matter what I think as long as most of these guys pan out.
  12. I guess this signals that we are moving on from Shaheen or Smythe.
  13. Ok, long wait. But I now am hoping for the Memphis RB.
  14. Given how well Hunt and Kindly played last season, I think we scout OL pretty well. L Eichenberg might be a good protector for Tua's blind side.
  15. I like Cameron Sample from Tulane as a developmental DE. He's almost certainly a day 3 prospect.
  16. I expect all three of those players to be gone in the top ten picks of round 2. If they happen to all be gone when we pick, we can go with either the next best WR, next best center, or Jenkins.
  17. Crap, Toney is gone. I wanted to pair him with Waddle. No complaints about JP though.
  18. I don't want a trade up, we need our picks. If we miss out there are other RBs.
  19. J Phillips, great pass rusher if he can avoid the injuries. I'm cool with it. It sets the table for a center and another WR/RB in round 2.
  20. I'll be happy with Zaven Collins, Jamin Davis, or Teven Jenkins at #18. I'm sure there are a few other players worth taking here as well. Just no RB!
  21. That is a bit surprising, but not THAT surprising. If he doesn't get hurt, Waddle is the Heisman winner.
  22. Oh I fully expect #18 to be defense. But one cannot help but wonder what it will do for the offense to add so much speed. Fuller + Waddle + ?
