  1. The "Kick the Tires" Thread (Other Teams Cuts)

    Strong cheek bones.
  2. NFL News & Notes

Part of me feels that the potential of a deal would include one of Jackson or KK. Unloading KK while he still has value and offing his health concerns, or unloading Jackson who wasn't that great of fit to Pettine's scheme when drafted...but was just an ultra value pick with potential

I'm down for a good time.
  6. Oren Burks

Good shorts look great on athlete, more on this later.
  7. Depth Chartin'

Created this quick graphic (and just noticed the more in-depth chart above..well done on that btw) for my fellow visual learners. ILB scares me. Just a quick comparison to where we are at on defense post draft, compared to wk17 of last year. Mine just has notable depth and not comprehensive depth. I also only did a base 3-4, since we adjust so much and play nickel.
  8. 2019 Draft Thoughts

Packers scouts didn't discover it until ENDGAME, my apologies for the spoilers.
  9. 2019 Draft Thoughts

    The time stone.

As a graphic designer, asymmetry is very much in right now. Also as a graphic designer who lives in Wisconsin, this truly is an awful hat.
  11. Packers Pre-Draft Visits Thread

With Sternberger coming in on a visit, I'm not sure what to think about him. I'd be able to live with any pick after 44, but hope there isn't a run scenario that causes a trade up (See Richard Rodgers). A lot of Witten and Kelce to his game. Has Witten's stick at the top of the route, and Kelce's versatility with lining up all over the field effectively. Also appears to be sandwiched in between those two guys athletically. Thoughts? I'm sure Mac would have thumped the table for this guy based off the amount of routes he ran in the flat lol.
  12. 2019 Draft Discussion

Ya, I was editing my post as you typed this. It works two fold, either for saving face...or in some instances...boosting value. If you run a respectable time like Nasir did, more people will talk about what your time could actually be if you weren't hurt. Again, this isn't an attack on Nasir, because his could be completely legit. Just a gripe on some of the more easily read dishonest cases.
  13. 2019 Draft Discussion

Not to be Mr. Naysayer, but I can't stand the influx of those who run one slower than anticipated 40-yard dash, then save face with a convenient muscle pull and tell everyone to refer to the game tape. I'm sure there are quite a few legitimate cases and this gripe isn't about this specific instance because it could be legit, but the transparency of these choices being 100% an agent move is just laughable. Indirectly tie your time with an injury, and save/boost your draft stock trend and draft slot value. Scouts will say "Oh man, he ran slow..but he did get hurt" or "Oh man, he ran pretty decent, but he must be blazing if he ran that with an INSERT INJURY". Either run or don't run, but don't test the waters...you should know what kind of speed guy you are. Plenty of success stories either way. It's the old pro-wrestling trick of losing by your opponent cheating or losing while having an "injury". Keeps your reputation and fourth-wall appearance clean because those invested will say "....well you know, he/she REALLY didn't lose....".
  14. 2019 Free Agent Discussion

My annual free agent re-post: Does anybody remember when I was discussing free agent right tackles before we resigned Bulaga, and bluesuede came in and said, "The thing about FA RTs is that, you tend to like your own more than everyone else's." Good times. Simpler times.
