  1. Official News: Mike Lafleur will be leaving the organisation to become OC for the New York Jets. The Wolfhounds wish him well in his new role. The team will wait for the dust to settle and see what happens with HC Eric Bienemy and DC Richards before making any moves.
  2. Big changes could be on the horizon for the Wolfhounds coaching set up
  3. Own Team Free Agents ****All ERFA'S where automatically resign-ed**** UFA RB: Rex Burkhead, Dion Lewis TE: Ricky Seales Jones WR: Demarcus Robinson OG: Cameron Fleming, Michael Schofield OC: Joe Looney DT: Soloman Thomas EDGE: Jeremiah Attaochu, Jordon Jenkins, Yannick Ngakoue LB: KPL, J Burgess CB: Jason McCourty, Mackensie Alexander RFA OT: Alex Light

  5. And the Bonus ball from tonight's Lotto to decide the tiebreaker between the Wolfhound's and Jets is...34. With that concluded the Wolfhounds will hold the 2nd pick of the 2021 draft in the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th & 7th rounds.
  6. So after consideration I'm giving myself a 2 - 14 W/L record for the 2020 season. That puts me at either the 2nd or 3rd pick in the 2021 draft, To brake the tie fairly I'm going to use the Irish Daily millions lotto draw at 9pm tonight. If the bonus ball is an even number I get the 2nd pick if its an odd number I receive the the 3rd pick.
  7. I think this team finishes the season with a 3 - 13 or 4 - 12 W/L record @Trojan @jrry32@Techbert Any thoughts fella's? I'm leaning towards 3 - 13 but I'll go with the majority?
  8. With the season coming to a close it's time to finalize the season record and assign a draft slot for the 2021 draft. QB ) Actual season Stats: Joe Burrow, Josh Rosen (no stats recorded) 2688 yards, 13/5 TD-Interceptions, 65.3% I think it's fair to say the Wolfhounds lose out after Burrow's injury week 11. Early season struggles where to be expected but Joe looked comfortable from game 1. Joe's yardage probably remains the same with the majority of targets heading Hopkins way. RB) Actual season stats: Rex Burkhead, Dion Lewis Eno Benjiman (no stats recorded) 367 yard
  9. Very true, so in an ideal world we would sign a vet at whatever position on a 1 year deal to help push us over the top next season but still maintaining flexibility to resign Jaire. Am I on the right train of thought.? What position would you target? I just done the mock on tdn yesterday morning and spent an hour doing the write up, honestly didnt even think of FA's 😅
  10. I done the draft on TDN, Tufele was gone before our 1st rounder. Ideally i wanted to double dip at DT aswell but between Z rushing up the middle in passing situations, Gary's ability to play inside situationally and the lack of value on the board at DT at the other picks I went elsewhere. My thought is we could pick up one or 2 run plugs as UDFA's after the draft and hope one sticks. It's a shame Borghi opted out this year. It's tough to evaluate RB's in that Washington scheme as everything is either off the edge or through the air. Hes a different kind of back to Jwill an
  11. I thought sullivan was an ERFA, not sure what got that into my head. I havent seen much of Taylor but I'm not a fan of D William's, Borghi would bring a different skillset to J Will & Dillon. Hes like a less athletic Antonio Gibson for Washington, worthy of a late round flier. Patrick, Galaei, Ramsey & Scott can all battle it out for for #3 edge snaps once Preston's Smith's gone. Dazz Newome would slot straight in as our PR/KR/Gadget guy while Johnathon Adams would fill in EQ's spot.
  12. For this mock I'm working under the assumption of the cap staying flat, as things stand where right up against it for 2021. CUTS C Kirksey (6mil) - The play of Martin & Barnes make him an easy cut. R Wagner (4.25mil) - Cut due to age/cap hit, Ill look to find a developmental OT in the draft. RE-SIGNINGS J Williams (2yrs 6mil) M Lewis 1yr (1.25mil) R Tonyan 2nd Round tender (3.4mil) ERFAS (6mil) All other free agents hit the market. Extend D Adams (3yrs 60mil) Restructure Bak's 2021 roster bonus (11.5mil) DRAFT
  13. I'd say the 2nd pick @Trojan Tua probably starts slow and with a below average WR corps teams would load the box making your run game ineffective. Josh jones was also injured the first 3 or 4 weeks which would have put tua scrambling. Your D has some nice pieces but the secondary probably gets picked apart by smart qbs. If tua takes a step foward next year and you get him some weapons, you have the makings of a solid roster.
  14. Been flat out at between work & college. Wolfhounds place Joe Burrow & Nick Boyle on IR. Claim DeAndre Baker off the Chiefs Ps squad. Reactivate Joe Looney off IR.
