  1. Knockin' on Valhalla's Door

So what does everybody think about Gerald McCoy as an option on defense? or is it way out of our price range and impossible to put together and also is his mental ability where it should be? I mean he's a former 3rd overall pick not too long ago could he be a difference-maker in Minnesota.
  2. All 3 future core pieces 😏 Cutting puts us over the top.
  3. 2019 NFL Draft: Day 3 - Rounds 4, 5, 6, & 7

Can we just officially say that Spielman nailed the draft? I've been watching for quite a long time and I can't really say I was very disappointed with anything this weekend. A++ on paper, let's see how she plays out!
  4. Yep, if there's such thing as the best future Long Snapper in the world, we might have it!
  5. 2019 Draft Talk

Agree, they signed an O-Lineman now they can go with more options in Round 1. Then they can target guys with position need in the next 2 rounds and trade back if need be. There will be a future Hall of Fame player available at our pick we just need to make sure we find him and select him.
  6. Valhalla Villager: News, Rumors and Gossip

This needs to happen, he can move around the interior. Then add to the O-line with 2 picks in the first 3 rounds.
  7. 2019 Draft Talk

I'm definitely not saying he will equal Randy Moss or produce the same as Randy Moss. I'm saying if we pass on a guy with his talent I'll guarantee it comes back to burn us over the next 10 years. I think he should be considered, we need a guy who can blow the doors off defenses. Diggs, Theilen, Metcalf is a killer trio.
  8. 2019 Draft Talk

Agreed 100% Passing on Metcalf is like passing on Randy Moss, we'd pay for it for the next decade plus. You take him if he is there. I want FA starting O-Linemen, not projects. Spend FA money on the line, draft the other needs. If he's not there than draft a stud G or tackle.
  9. 2019 Playoffs

You just don't know the right people.
  10. 2019 Playoffs

The playoffs this year, actually the whole season in almost its entirety has been very boring. Who wants to see any of these teams win? Maybe, MAYBE the Rams, only because they were actual faves heading into the year. Where's all the defensive teams? Its brutal!! Brady, no thanks. Mahomes, god no please, I hope his career goes the way of RG3. The Saints are the devils team and I wish Brees didn't play there, he deserves better. Sean Peyton can rot, he is evil. Then all that leaves is the Rams. But wow, I honestly think Minnesota deserved much better this year. The Rams didn't seem all that tough, and thats frustrating. Dallas and Philly winning nearly killed me. The NFL playoff scenario seems very flawed. Where is all the good teams?
  11. 2019 Draft Talk

I think you hit the nail right on the head with this statement. We need to build the O-Line from now until 2021, when Kirks contract is up. At the same time, stock the D with high-end project type players, that should be ready for 2021-2022. In 2021 we do everything humanly possible to draft Lawrence to play in front of a young stacked O-Line, Cook in his prime, and a great D. Personally I'm sick of not having a number one quarterback, or a guy who's been with multiple franchises. I want our own top end quarterback!
  12. Are we at the end of the Rhodes...?

Yeah sorry tanking was a bit of a strong word. I just think if we could move Rhodes now for a first in 2021 we should as opposed to holding on to him and his value dropping a bit. And I agree with you we will be competitive without Rhodes and who knows how good Hughes really is. But the timeline suits is perfectly because cousins is locked in through 2019 and 2020. Who knows he may get us that first overall pick on his own! Kidding...... I'm hoping for a big rebound next year. But I'm concerned it'll take too long to get the offensive line into shape. Which is why I'm saying we should start drafting offensive lineman for the future but make sure we have strong draft capital in 2021, that should be the vision. What if our offense shows no improvements next season? We would really have to look at the possibility of shooting for a once-in-a-lifetime QB. Build a line now, so when we get a young prospect he will be well protected. I would let Griffen walk if he doesnt restructure. I would resign Theilen for sure. As I said, I agree we need to ride this squad at the least one more year. I have faith. But to miss Lawrence and gift him to the Packers (please god no) or Lions or even Giants would suck. We might in a golden position. Us and the Denver Broncos, most other annually bad teams (aka Browns, Jets) have their guy. My prediction and write this down. Belichick will tell Kraft he's tanking for Lawrence, New England will go 0-16 in 2020. That will also be Brady's retirement year. Book it!!😊
  13. 2019 Playoff Pick em

    Philly 8 New England 6 Dallas 2 Indy 4
  14. Are we at the end of the Rhodes...?

I think we need to try and trade Rhodes for a first in 2021. Start the tank on offense, aquire 3+ 1st rounders in 2021 and draft Lawrence. Lets do this right. Trade Rhodes, play next season out with Hughes and Waynes, if we succeed then bonus, if its a failure or step back, we need drastic change.
  15. Vikings select...Mike Hughes, CB, UCF

Alexander won't be as good as Hughes but SteekKing is correct ^^^ Hughes will take a bit of time, but he can play multiple positions, and we really need him on ST. Our rock in the return game has found father time. Hughes will run a couple TDs back next year!! I think both Alexander and Hughes will play key roles. Also, if we lose Rhodes or Waynes, we will be thanking gMRS
