  1. Which is why I rated Sherman in the top 15 and not the top 5 or 10.
  2. We have needs at G and preferably C, and James is the best lineman we have. Figures this dip**** FO would trade him away.
  3. Top 10-15. Sherman is spectacular, has great technique, instincts, and excellent knowledge. The ability to shut down one side of the field shouldn't be overlooked though. Considering how often offense's prefer fieldside reads and being able to erase the sidelines there is crucial. Thomas over the top was critical, yes, but there's still a lot of ground to cover for a CB with just a single high safety as opposed to two deep shells. Kam was essentially a free defender/lurker more in tune w/ Seattle's Under Front and was not used as a typical deep safety in those respects.
  4. Raise your hand if you're surprised Miami mismanaged/miscalculated the Landry situation.
  5. Guessing it happened in Castlewood Canyon park. I used to go hiking there a lot and there are some steep drop offs and narrow trails. Stepped on a thin layer of snow once that thinly veiled an ice patch, nearly slipped into the canyon if not for being able to grab onto a small tree growing on the edge of the pathway. Thank goodness Mccaffrey was at the right place at the right time to help this gentlemen.
  6. They would still be under the CBA restrictions as far as limited padded practices, no two-a-days, and overall it would not capitalize on their growth & development compared to a full fledged D-league.
  7. Not a chance, boy. Retired at 30, no one is going to tell me how to live my life. I'm doing just fine.
  8. Laugh it up, but here's what I can bring to the table and what I was hoping to find more of around here:
  9. You've got to be kidding me with this garbage statement.
  10. I can't imagine the NFL creating an additional program that competes with it's seasonal revenue, practice squad players, or lower level assistants that would all be available for coaching during the off season. A spring D-league makes the most sense in that regard
  11. A D-league needs to happen and it being held in the offseason for continued player development would do nothing to detract from the NFL and would in turn help their final product. Too much talent is placed by the wayside, and too much quality is lost due to the inevitable and numerous injuries that happen throughout the course of an NFL season. NFL needs to get it done.
  12. It's reflective of the new CBA. How are people not getting this in relation to the analysis I posted? It actually makes a lot of sense in that respect.
  13. Thought Shula did an excellent job of tailoring the offense to Cam Newton while the OC in Carolina.
