  1. Arthur Smith promoted to OC

Continuity is the what I like about this. When you go out and hire someone from a different team and then have to introduce him to all the players and the environment here and everything and play that whole game, it's a higher risk and you don't know how things will click. With this, we know what we're getting and the players will know what to expect. Have a chance to keep building on what's become a pretty solid foundation here over the past 2-3 seasons.
  2. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

I think we still win this game even though we don't deserve to. There's some Tennessee magic in the air tonight
  3. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

    this is a weird game
  4. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

I get it that we're sick of being mediocre, but at least this team is here. 9 wins back to back is not something to sneeze at. that's worth seeing.
  5. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

I never thought I'd turn a Titans game off this early but I think I'm going to if something doesn't happen this drive. Why go through two more hours of feeling bad?
  6. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

it's not like it's over it's only two scores
  7. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

carrie underwood should offer blaine a little taste of nashville if they win might get him going
  8. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

Would I put money on us to win? no... Did I just put money on us to win? yes
  9. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

Blaine should snort a couple of lines before this one.
  10. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

We already knew this game was going to basically ride on the shoulders of Henry and our offensive line. I've watched Gabbert since he was a rookie taken in the first round with Locker. I used to hate him, thought he was basically the opposite of what I like in a QB; the guys who are tough, take a lot of chances, who put the team on their shoulders and who embody that Hero archetype you see in war movies. I think he's changed and grown up and I like him a lot more now than who he was, but I still haven't really seen enough of that from him. I mean tonight is the biggest game of this guys life, a lot of backups rise to the occasion when put in this kind of situation and play the game of their life so I'm just hoping that's what we get from him. He's been in the league long enough to understand the ins and outs of being a quarterback, this is where he's got a chance to prove himself and show what he's actually made of.
  11. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

Dean Pees for this whole game is a way bigger factor than I think people realize. Look at how we've fared against good quarterbacks this year: Brady, Rivers, Wentz (probably the 3 best QB's we've faced this season, with Watson maybe as the fourth) But we held all those teams under 21 points, and minus a couple big throws from Rivers we've been pretty phenomenal against good quarterbacks. The only defensive collapse we've had all season really was the Colts game (maybe the Texans game too but...) but forcing your head coach to do something he wasn't prepared to do and calling the plays against a smart quarterback like Luck, I just think that's huge and made a big difference in that game. Plus the whole home/road thing is a huge factor.
  12. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

I haven't played Madden in a couple years, but JW how did you get all the current records and stats and injuries?
  13. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

Regardless of the outcome, it's just nice to have something to play for in the last week of the season. For more than half of the teams, the seasons already over. I think it's pretty clear we're going to be a better team next season, with a year under the belt with this coaching staff, an improved Henry, Davis, Taylor, Sharpe, getting back some key guys from injury. Important to be riding a positive train moving forward and I think we've established something pretty solid this season.
  14. Titans Pick'Em Competition - Week 17

    Titans 30 Colts 28
  15. Week 17 Colts vs. Titans

Time for the too early question of who you'd rather play in wild card round.... @ Texans or @ Patriots? My week 17 predictions give us Houston, whereas then we'd be the lowest seed with a win and have to travel to KC. But then all we have to do is shut down Mahomes for a game, beat the Patriots again and then we've got a SB matchup with the Saints in Atlanta
